not your average Rock chick - Kenny K Krafty girlz challenge-Music + Craftalicious challenge-Purple and Green + Sketch and Stash No 43

Good morning everyone and thank you all so much for your well wishes and yes 'cough cough' I'm still not well and am looking for a kind volunteer to do my ironing for me lol...my card today is using this Kenny K stunner called Star, don't you just love this sparkly rock chick, I coloured her with Distress inks and glittered her guitar, Im entering this for the Kenny K Krafty girlz challenge which is Music and I used the Sketch and Stash sketch (my neglected stash is this My Minds eye paper from Bunny Zoe's Crafts) although I had to move the sentiment so hope it still counts...and the Craftalicious Purple and Green Challenge...the striped glittered paper is from the BoBunny limited Edition Glitter collection and is Jazmyne mist...I finished with some purple satin ribbon and bow and a selection of buttons from my stash...I hope you like it and I managed to do a bit of commenting last night but still need to catch up so thank you for commenting all those I haven't got round to yet...have a fantastic day

'cough cough' Im not well - Whiff of Joy challenge 86 Janes sketch

Happy Monday everyone...well I'm not very well 'cough cough' do you feel sorry for me, I have a chest infections...its a general condition know as Sod's Law, you know the thing like when you haven't had a holiday in ages then you book one and you get a chest infection or when you drop the bread it always lands butter side down lol....but loads of antibiotics, a hot water bottle, some green tea and I will be sorted, that's why I didn't do any commenting this weekend, I was curled up feeling sorry for myself ' cough cough'...come on now could I have a teeny bit of sympathy here please lol...anyway enough wallowing my card for today is for the Whiff of Joy challenge which is a stunner of a sketch by the fantastically talented Jane, brill sketch Jane...I used this little sweetie I haven't used for ages and coloured her with distress inks, its not the best colouring but will have to do for today though as in case I haven't told you...I'm not well 'cough cough' lol, I teamed her up with some lush Capella paper from Basicgrey, I love this series of paper don't you...I used a thick cream satin ribbon and the sentiments and embellishments are from the Capella stickers sheet...I hope you like it...have a fabulous holiday Monday for all in the UK and everyone have a brilliant Happy Monday

Its all about the eyes - Sweet Pea Stampers Lace and Pearls + Sketch and Stash Challenge 42 + Simon Says Challenge-Paper Piecing

Good morning everyone did you all have a fab day yesterday, I went craft shopping for more candy for while I'm away and to celebrate as I have just passed 190,000 hits so not far to the big 200,000 how amazing is that, if someone had told me 18 months ago I would have anywhere near this many hits I would have thought they were nuts lol...thank you all so much for following and visiting me so often, I love to read your comments and so many of you have a wicked sense of humour, love it lol...my card today is using this amazing stamp from Crafts and Me its called Seeing Through, just look at those amazing eyes, stunning aren't they...I used the fab sketch from Sketch and Stash, my new Stash is my stamp and my neglected stash is these fab papers from the Basicgrey Sugar Rush range called Gummy Bears...I paper pieced her wings and glove so I'm entering it for the Simon says challenge paper piecing one and the Sweet Pea Stampers Lace and Pearls challenge too...the lace I added is a very old lace someone gave me years ago even before I started card making, the fab ribbon is from the shoulders of a cardigan and I finished with a cut out heart from the paper and some yellow pearls...I hope you like...wouldn't you just love to have eyes like her...have a fab day everyone and before you ask I still haven't done my ironing lol

Autumn yesterday and now its Christmas - Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam DT + Friday Sketchers 117

Good morning everyone I hope you all have a fantastic weekend planned...right now hands up everyone who thinks I did my ironing yesterday...yes your right I found loads of other things that were urgent so managed to put it of yet again...creased clothes on holidays I think and a travel iron lol...anyway onto todays card which is for Mo's Dreamteam DT and I used this amazing Christmas Fairy mint how beautiful is this little darling, I coloured her with Distress inks and teamed her up with these stunning Graphic45 papers from Crafters and Co...its a doublesided one from the Christmas past range called The Holly and the Ivy, I added a wide satin ribbon and a double flower and gorgeous velvet leaves...I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers but stuck it on upside down oops, hope it still counts...I hope you like it and whatever your up to have a brilliant day

Oh no is it Autumn already - Just Magnolia week 70 - Dawny Sketch

Good morning everyone well I had the best intentions of doing some holiday ironing and catching up on all my DT cards for while Im away yesterday and guess what I did...absolutley nothing at all except make this card for Just Magnolia...oh well I had good intentions anyway lol...our new challenge over at Just Magnolia is a fab sketch by our wonderful Dawny...I used this gorgeous Tilda I have had for ages and coloured her with distress inks, I have no idea who the lush papers are by as they are from my scraps, gorgeous colours though arent they even if they are Autumn colours but dont worry it hasnt arrived well not just yet anyway...I finished my card with some gorgeous spotted Kars ribbon and some flowers and a sentiment from my stash...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to our Just Magnolia blog to see the incredible work from the rest of our wonderful DT...have a fantastic Friday everyone now Im off to sort out my ironing, Im not saying I will do it though lol

Just how cute can one dragon be - Colour Create New Challenge 52 - Dena's choice + Friday Sketchers 116

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying your crafting, I did loads of blogging last night and Im always so astounded at how impressive your work is...wow your a talented lot...its that time of the month again, time for a new Colour Create challenge and this time its the fabulous Dena's choice and what a stunner of a choice it is too...Pastel Lilac, Pastel Yellow and Pastel mint, I knew as soon as I saw this challenge what paper I would use and as soon as I saw this perfect little Draggy image I had to buy him (and of course a couple more dropped into my basket lol) isnt he just the cutest thing every, look at that little face dosent it make you smile, its from Spesch Designer stamps and I coloured it with Distress inks...the papers are of course Basicgrey from the Kioshi range and its called Kiku, the sentiment I made up and printed it on the computer and I finished with a lush velvet ribbon made into a bow, I followed the Friday Sketchers sketch for it...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to Colour Create to have a look at the rest of the DT's amazing work...have a wonderful day everyone

A vision in pink - Mo's Digital Challenge 45-Thank heaven for little girls+Mojo Monday 153 + Craft your days away challenge-With wings

Good morning everyone I have now started counting the days until my hols instead of the weeks...does that mean its getting closer or I'm just desperate for a holiday do you think or maybe a bit of both lol...now for today's card... I think I'm in love, how incredible is this beautiful angel shes called Angel with Puppy and of course shes from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love how Mo has made the softness so amazingly realistic in this wonderful drawing, shes amazing to colour too, I mean the Angel not Mo lol...I used a very faint colour wash for her dress so the rest of her would stand out and teamed her up with this scrummy double sided paper from American Crafts from their A La Carte range and its called Rosemary...I used this fab reusable sketch from Mojo Monday, I love their sketches don't you they always boot my mojo up the booty...I'm also entering it for the Mo's Digital Challenge which this week is Thank Heavens fro Little girls and the Craft your days away with wings Challenge...I hope you like it because for a change so do I, you know us crafter's are always our own biggest critics lol...have a wonderful day everyone

Hunk of the Month - Just Inklined Guest DT card + Sweet Stampin Challenge 40 + Totally Gorjuss-Star + Stamp Something-Digi Day

Good morning everyone deep apologies to all you fish lovers for me eating salmon then making a card with a fish on it yesterday...oops lol, now come on girls this has to be your pinup Hunk of the Month doesn't it lol....isn't he just brilliant, I loved colouring Aubrey Bumblethorpe and of course hes from Just Inklined....hes coloured with Distress inks and teamed up with Fancy Pants papers from Bunny Zoe's crafts...I used the fab sketch from Sweet Stampin for him, love this sketch and will use it again, I'm also using it for the Totally Gorjuss challenge and the Stamp Something challenge too...I finished Aubrey with some string and a few buttons from my stash...I hope you like it...have a fantastic day everyone and no drooling over Aubrey lol

The challenges have returned - Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge 35 + 7 Kids College Fund-strip it down

Happy Monday everyone, did you all have a fabby weekend...I didn't do much but we went to Marks and Spencer's yesterday to do some goody shopping and I bought some of the lushest flaked Scottish salmon....mmmmmmmm delicious...it was cold here last night so I was sitting in my kitchen with a huge fluffy dressing gown and fluffy pink socks eating a salmon salad straight out of the fridge with my teeth almost chattering but determined to enjoy it lol...as you can see the challenge cards are coming back and today's is using the gorgeous sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and I'm also entering it for the 2 dp papers maximum challenge at 7 Kids College Fund too...I used this cute little fella isn't he just so gorgeous with his little fish bowl hes a Greeting Farm set Oliver and Amelia My Favourite things, I teamed him up with Kaisercraft Le Chateau papers and the sentiment is from the same pad...they are both from Bunny Zoe's Crafts ...I finished with some buttons and a thick satin ribbon...I hope you like it and have a wonderfully Happy Monday everyone

Shock horror no challenge card

Good morning everyone I know its a shocker no challenge card today, just one I wanted to try for fun...I was shopping yesterday and found a fantastic pair of sunglasses, gorgeous so I thought I will have those for my hols, well until I looked at the price...£125 are they kidding, I know they were Raybans but still they would need to be goldplated to pay that for them...I think I will stick with my £4 Sainsbury's ones lol...right onto the card, I wanted to try this fantastic Chinese Tilda I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts in 3d, I'm not sure if it worked but it was fun having a go anyway, its good to play with your stash sometimes isnt it...shes coloured with, yes you guessed it...distress inks, the papers and acetate are from different packs from Bunny Zoe's Crafts too...I finished with some teeny punched flowers and added pearl centres...I hope you like it and have a fantastic Sunday everyone

Autumn Granny - Belles and Whistles Challenge-Warm Colours + Cute Card Thursday challenge 126

Welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam bloghop + Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch 46

Good morning everyone and welcome to our Dreamteams monthly blog hop for Mo's Digital Pencil, this month our wonderful host is Rosette and she chose the theme of Die cuts/Punches & Nesties, you should have arrived from the fabulous Debbie's blog and if you havent you could pop over to Rosette's to start from the very start as you dont want to miss any of their amazing work...now as you know I dont have a die cutting machine but luckily I do have some friends that do who were kind enough to send some to me so I could use the shape on the centre, the snowflakes are punched I think in glitterboard...I chose to use this stunning Christmas image is one of the male versions of Stocking and this one is called Timmy, isnt he just gorgeous, he reminds me so much of my Nephew in his new christmas jimjams lol, did you all get new jimjams or nightie on Christmas Eve its a tradition in our family and as you got older it seemed like an extra present...I coloured Timmy with distress inks and the amazing papers are Basicgrey Max and Whiskers/Simon and its double sided...I used the fabulous sketch from Papertake Weekly challenge for my card but missed the text bit oops hope it still counts...I finished with some gingham ribbon from my stash...I wish I could remember where I got this from as I will need more pretty soon...your next stop on the hop is over to the fabulous

It wasnt me I promise - Kenny K's Krafty Girls challenge-bold and bright + Stamp with Fun challenge 72 Sketch

Good morning everyone...everything has been sorted from yesterdays hacker panic, I hadn't been hacked but someone who is on my address book has and they had used my email address to email others on their address book...so I'm safe as houses to email and blog...phew, it meant sitting at the comp for 5 hours yesterday making sure it was safe so I couldn't face anymore hours commenting last so I will catch up with you all tonight...anyway my card for today is for the Kenny K Krafty girls challenge which is Bright and bold and I used the Stamp with Fun sketch for it...I haven't joined in the KK challenge for ages and I remembered I had this beauty stashed on my desk waiting to be coloured, shes called Movie Star and I coloured her with distress inks...the amazing paper is from Anna Griffin, now I didn't ever think an Anna Griffin paper would be great for a Kenny K image did you...I used some ribbon, buttons and a Prima flower from my stash to finish ...I hope you like it and whatever your up to today...I'm off out shopping with my Sisters wwwooohhhoooo

An oops moment !!! - Friday Sketchers 115

Happy Monday everyone did you all have a wonderful weekend, we had bright glorious sunshine, we were shopping for tshirts for my wonderful Phil yesterday (although why I don't know he has more clothes than me lol) and when we got back to the car it said 29degrees on the dash...fantastic weather I love it....now my card for today is either a serious oops moment or a touch of the seniors lol...I made it for the Belles and Whistles challenge and then noticed it finished today, oh I wonder what this weeks belles and whistles challenge is it might fit that with a lot of luck, I used the gorgeous simple sketch from Friday Sketchers for it too....I used this stunning Belles and Whistles Beary Big hugs stamp, I love this image isn't she just gorgeous and such a dream to colour too, I used distress inks for her...the amazing coloured papers are from the Kaisercraft Utopia paper pad, the stamp and papers are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I added a ribbon, a mixture of flowers and a fab girl charm from my stash to finish...I hope you like it and have a really happy Monday everyone

An wonderfully unexpected visitor - Just Inklined Guest DT card + A Spoonfull of Sugar 116 + Totally Gorjuss-Aqua

Good morning everyone...did you all have a good Saturday?, I got a brilliant surprise one of my wonderful Sisters who lives in England paid an unexpected visit, we went for lunch, shopped, laughed, and generally put the world to rights like Sisters do...I had a fab day and loved every second of it, but it made me miss her even more and sad when she left buts shes off visiting and will be back in a couple of days...yyyyyaaaaahhhhhh...right onto my card for today which is for my Guest DT spot for Just Inklined, isn't this gorgeous dragon just fabulous...he/she is called In a Flap and hes available from here...I coloured it with Distress inks and teamed him up with these fantastic papers, sentiment and hearts are from the My Minds Eye Love me Do paper pack which is on sale at Bunny Zoe's Crafts at the mo isn't that cloud paper just lush...all I needed to add was a red ribbon...I used the stunning sketch from A Spoon full of Sugar challenge and I'm also entering it for the Totally Gorjuss Aqua challenge, I hope it still counts because it has a touch of red and yellow in it...I hope you like it and have a fantastic Sunday everyone

Our new baby arrived - CLP Challenge Sketch + Sir Stampalot challenge bring on the bling

Good morning everyone...we took delivery of our brand new baby yesterday...our new car arrived, we went for a drive and its so weird that although it a teeny bit less powerful than the last one it feels more powerful...have you anything exciting happening this weekend if you are as I'm a motorbike widow (my husband marshalls roadracing) this weekend go on make me jealous lol...anyway my card for today is using the fabulous sketch at CLP challenge, isnt it a brill one and although its hard to see there's loads of glitter glue on this so I'm entering it in the Sir Stampalot challenge too...I used this fantastic little fella isn't he just a perfect image for a Baby's First Christmas, its called I even love the Box and of course hes from Mo's Digital Pencil, hes coloured with Distress inks...the incredible paper is a double sided one from Sassafras Lass haven't a clue what its called because the scalloped border is actually the reverse of the bottom name edge which I stuck down before realising I hadn't kept the name oops lol...I finished my card with some coloured string from my stash...I hope you like it...whatever your up to today have a brilliant time

What happened to the Summer???? - Colour Create challenge 51-Julies choice+Mojo Monday 151

Good morning everyone...right own up who nicked the summer, it was freezing cold here last night and I had to put the heating on....come on now for goodness sake its August not November, I don't want my heating on, if I promise to be good (well as good as I can be) will you bring it back...right forget the British obsession with the weather lol, my card for today is for our new challenge over at Colour Create challenge and its a beauty, its the choice of one of our newbies and Julie has done a fantastic job too, her choice is Ivory, Duck Egg Blue plus one other colour from the picture which is on our blog, don't forget to hop on over and have a look at the rest of our teams fantastic work too...I used this gorgeously cute Bossy image from Mo's Digital Pencil coloured with Distress inks and the perfect paper choice is these papers from the Basicgrey Capella paper pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I used the sketch from this weeks Mojo Monday but had to move the sentiment down a little because it covered her shoes...I used a wide satin ribbon and some pretty cotton lace to finish...the sentiment is a rub on from the Fancy Pants My Family Paper pack from Bunny Zoe's...I hope you like it and have a fabby day everyone

Good morning everyone and I hope your all well and happy...right episode 97 (or does it just seem that many) of the swimsuit saga, I went onto the Additions website and found a few nice swimsuits so bought them and they are on their way as we speak, so fingers crossed it will be sorted if all the bits fit into them anyway...have you ever, whatever happened to being able to go to a shop buy three swimsuits and be sorted, or was that in my youth lol...right onto my card for today which is for the fabby sketch over at Sunday Sketch and stash challenge, I used this fantastic little Hanglar image coloured with distress ink and my new stash is these amazing papers from Cosmo Cricket The Boyfriend range this striped and red numbered one is called Tube Socks, isn't that a brilliant name...I added a sentiment from another CC paper and a rumpled red ribbon and buttons from my stash...I hope you like it, I'm also entering this for the Its a Mans world Saturday challenge too...have a brilliant day everyone

Good morning everyone...you know when you get an idea in your head and it dosent work out exactly how you imagined it, well thats my card for today which is for the Just Inklined DT and I decided when I spotted this beauty that I would try something completely different...I don't think I have ever coloured a flower image and how amazing is this one from Just Inklined, so beautiful to colour, when I printed it I printed a circle and decided to just colour the inner circle and shaded the rest, I think it works do you...this image is called Rose bloom and is available now here...I used more of the amazing papers from the K&Co Cara Marie paper pad, isn't it amazing how many different patterns there is in this one pad...I used the fab sketch from Creat4fun challenge and added some cream satin ribbon and two pearl headed pins from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I hope you like it and think my something different card worked well...have a fantastic day everyone

Happy Monday everyone - Bunny Zoe's Crafts Monthly Challenge-Vintage + Friday Sketchers 114

Happy Monday everyone I hope you all had a brilliant weekend...despite three hours online last night my swimsuit saga is still ongoing...I'm despairing of ever finding one and it seems skinny dipping or bra and pants might be the only options left lol...I have a vision of small children scattering lol...anyway onto my card for today which is for our new challenge over at Bunny Zoe's Monthly challenge which this month is Vintage, all your creations last month were incredible, there are some massively talented crafter's out there in blogland...I picked 1940's-50's vintage and used this amazing new Magnolia from the Bon Voyage range shes called Travelling Tilda and shes a dream to colour with that sweet little hat...I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with some of the stunning papers from the Fancy Pants My Family paper pack, the sentiment is from it too...I finished with some string, just plain old household string, a button and a beautiful crystal headed pin...everything I used I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts except the string...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to the Bunny Zoe's Crafts Monthly Challenge blog to have a look at the rest of the teams lush work, I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers so am entering my card for it too...have a fantastic Happy Monday and don't forget to smile you never know who will smile back at you

car shopping!!! + Sketch Saturday 115 + Craft your Days away-Your favourite things

Good morning everyone....well no luck with the swimsuit but wwwooohhhooo we found the car, we chose a champagne coloured Toyota Avensis...lush car, not keen on the colour though...sorry that sounded very girly lol, it really is a fabulous car so we bought it and get delivery on Friday...anyway onto my card for today which is for the Sketch Saturday challenge and I'm also entering it for the new challenge blog Craft your Days Away...their challenge is to use your favourite things...well image has to be Mo's Digital Pencil doesn't it and of course I couldn't leave out my gingham you all know how much I love gingham, I used some BoBunny paper which is glittered too and a thick rich coloured satin ribbon...loads of my fav things on this card...this beautiful little girl is called Blueberry Girl and I coloured with distress inks...I hope you like it and have a fantastic Sunday everyone
