Im not in Kansas anymore toto - Create4fun Challenge + Pear Tree Designs challenge

Good morning everyone I hope your all fit and well, I managed to prise my Dads cold fingers from the door frame and we went for coffee, had a little read of the newspapers and put the world to rights and all before 3pm...amazing what coffee can do for you isnt it...I love those afternoons chatting with my Dad, hes 78 and still sharp as a tack with a great sense of humour...love him to bits...right now onto my card for today which is using the beautiful Kansas from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love this sweet image with her little toto in her basket, I can still remember watching the Wizard of Oz for the first time and falling in love with this fantastic tale of fairyland places and people...of course I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with this amazing double sided My Minds Eye Pink large Polka dot from the Lush range...

I finished the card with some beautiful soft satin ribbon and a couple of pins threaded with beads...the fabulous sketch is from Create4fun challenge and Im also entering it for the Pear Tree Designs challenge too...I hope you have a fantastic day everyone and remember even if you cant put the world to rights, enjoy your coffee

    I love this card Mina - beautiful soft colours and colouring and that ribbon is perfect for it!

    I'm so glad you enjoy time with your Dad - your outings sound really lovely and make me wish mine was still around.... I can't believe it's 31 years since I saw him (and 22 since I saw my Mum!) - he passed away when I was 26. Thats the downside of being the very youngest in a family! Hope you continue to enjoy his company for years to come!

    Good Morning Mina, love your card! and wauw what a nice bow. Yesterday I felt so good that I could do some crafting. Sorted some paper, colours, image etc. Today I try to finish my card. Its going well at the moment and I am so glad!
