nothing says I love you like a Dragon - Welcome to the Just Inklined blog hop

Good morning everyone, did you all have a fabulous weekend I hope so, I had one of those lazy Sunday afternoons, you know the sort, you have every intention of doing loads of things but only get as far as thinking about it...for everyone who is on the Just Inklined blog hop welcome to the last stop on the hop you should have arrived here from the incredible Jaks blog, but if your not you could start at the beginning with Cathy and enjoy the fantastic work of the Just Inklined DT and guests, the theme of the hop this month is Love...how adorable is this fabulous Dragon and you can just tell by those eyes its in love with someone special lets just hope its another dragon...I coloured this Dragon Heart image with Distress inks and paper pieced the heart with the same check paper as the mount, the papers including the stitched square at the back (I didn't do the stitching) are from the Vintage Blue paper collection by We r memory keepers, the flowers and leaves are also cut from the same paper collection...I love this set I bought from TK Maxx, I'm entering my card for the Allsorts challenge, City Crafter challenge and Crafty Calendar challenge...thanks for following the Just Inklined hop and if you have time I have candy just below and your welcome to join in with it...have a wonderful day everyone

    Awww such a shy dragon....... Fab card Mina and such a perfect image for 'Love'! I love that checky paper too, and your paper piecing finishes it off just right!
    I had a lovely Sunday too - my brother and his wife came over to visit last minute - so we went out for a really nice lunch by a log fire!

    What a fun image on your lovely card and, in your post, you managed to include that well known phrase about love and dragons! LOL
    I do have two questions though, Mina; do you have a little elf that comes in the night (rather like a shoe-maker's elf) who does your stitching for you? And where can I find one please? Hugs, Lesley

    Hi Mina, I love your fabulous card, what a great dragon! I like how you always take care to match your backgrounds and images, the paper piecing brings the background into the main image nicely but in a subtle way too. Love that shade of green you coloured your dragon. CoB
