how do you know when you have too many buttons? - Whimsy and Stars Studio Guest DT

when you start dreaming about them lol...Good morning everyone, I had a lovely surprise last night Phil came home at 10.30 how fab is he driving all that way to come home at that time bless him...ok own up, who watched Mamma Mia last night, it isn't my usual kind of film and I haven't seen it before but of course who can resist a sing a long to Abba, not me I sang my little heart out (I bet Phil's relieved he wasn't home to hear me), I did see a couple of cats running past my window with their ears covered but I'm sure it had nothing to do with my singing though, if it hadn't been for the songs it would have been a rubbish film and I wouldn't have watched it in a million years, give me a good sci fi or vampire or horror movie...or even a good action one...love em...right onto my card for today which is for the Whimsy and Stars Studio guest DT...isn't this just a little sweetie of an image, I love the flowers on her dress...this image is called Searching and I coloured her with distress inks...go on guess what make the paper is, go on...yep Echo Park...lush isn't it and the name well what else would it be...Buttons of course...the orange is the reverse, all I needed to finished was some lush soft silk striped ribbon and the only other thing it need...yes...more buttons....I'm entering this for the Simon says Stamp Spring colours challenge (I think this is spring colours I always think of them as bright), Stamp Something circles challenge and the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches...I haven't a clue what we will be doing today but I hope wherever you are you have a fantastic day, preferably far away from any excess singing

Just love all those buttons! Card is fab (as always)..... and the image is lovely! I have a box with tons of buttons in - one day I'll use them!!
So glad phil got home last night but that you were able to watch Mamma Mia first.... I love that film - it's such a feel good movie - but you're right, it would be rubbish without the music! My fav films are sloppy - not into action at all..... but I do like a good story.
    Have a good Sunday

  12. When my children were little and I would sing in church, they would slide down the pew a little and pretend they weren't with me. Back to your card. It's as cute as a button and I love the DP. You rock!

  17. We bought the Mamma Mia DVD yonks back & it's still in its cellophane wrapper. Everyone was raving about it so thought we'd better watch it...one day!! LURV ABBA but just can't bring myself to watch it either. Take out Piers Brosnan & replace with Mr Clooney & I may take a peek. As for the buttons...enough NOW!!! xxx

  18. I laughed when you talked about your singing. When my daughter was little & I sang to her she would look up at me and say "Don't sing, Mommy!" So now I sing when I'm in the car & nobody can hear me! Your card is adorable as always. Love the added buttons & the paper is just perfect! So cute!!

  19. Hi Mina. Beautiful card. Nice bright colours and the image is very sweet. Nice surprise from your hubby last night, hope you both had a good day today. Took the girls to see Mamma Mia at the cinema when it first came out, not one I could watch again, so watched Casualty instead while ironing. Donna
