a bit of glitter and a few butterflies - Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stAnglar challenge week 105 - Anything goes with optional stitching

Good morning everyone...isn't it strange the things that go through your mind when your crafting...I remembered my Mum taught us sisters some 'moves' to protect ourselves when I was about 15, now we all had our little jobs in the house and one was to set the fire in the morning ready for the day, it was an open coal fire...I had a late class one day so I said I would do it...the house was empty and I was humming along to the radio and happily setting the fire, when I stood up a hand went onto my shoulder and the 'moves' must have been fresh in my mind cause I just grabbed it and threw whoever it was over my shoulder...my poor Dad was in a heap on the floor with such a shocked look on his face...he had a break from work and had come home and not wanting to scare me by shouting had just put his hand on my shoulder...needless to say he never did it again and has never ever let me forget it lol...my card for today is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar and stAnglar challenge...this is our Special Monthly challenge which means everything goes and as the lovely Carol is our host this time she has chosen an added option of stitching...I don't really do stitching so chose to use a stitched ribbon instead...I coloured this beautiful Tilda with distress inks and a little bit of glitter and teamed her up with this amazing Graphic45 paper from the Once upon a Springtime collection called Butterfly Kisses...lush isn't it...I finished with the fab ribbon, a swirled bow, a gorgeous scrunched rose from Wild Orchid crafts and a couple of punched vellum butterflies and dragonflies...have a fantastic day everyone and when you have the time pop on over to Just Magnolia and have a look at all the amazing work the rest of the team made
