Good morning everyone I hope your all keeping well...I made 4 cards yesterday and got on with a project I'm doing atm too, then I got a little bit distracted on my computer and ended up commenting on all the people who left a comment on Saturday for my Sugar Nellie blog hop card...yes that's right all 105 of them, well most of them as I had already commented on loads on Monday night...phew I'm on a roll, I think its since I changed my browser to Firefox, I am whizzing through my commenting not having to wait for pages to load or comments to come up...I really enjoyed all that lush blog hopping...there are some amazing crafter's out there isn't there...so its all you talented peoples fault I didn't get my project finished, well I'm blaming you all and sticking to it lol...my card for today is a shock horror one, no colouring at all, I haven't made one of those for ages and ages...when I saw these
Steampunk Butterflies from Gayle at
Wonderland Stamps I just had to have a go...I printed two of each in different sizes and layered them up, I couldn't resist using another of these fabulous clocks that
Astrid sent me, this time I coloured them with distress ink pads to match the lush Graphic45 paper, this paper is a double sided one from the Le Cirque collection and is called Bohemian Floral...how well does this go with the butterflies, I cute an aperture in the front and mounted the dial on acetate...now wouldn't you think I would have a piece of acetate somewhere in my craft room...nope...I ended up finding some packaging in the kitchen which I cut up and used...then I finished with the dials and mounted some of the spotted side on the inside for contrast, I also cut out some of the flowers from the papers to raise for a bit more deimension...what do you think of my no colouring card then?...I cant resist steampunk can you, I love it...Im off out for coffee with my wonderful Dad today and maybe a bit of shop mooching...whatever your up to have a fab day everyone
