Good morning everyone I hope you are all well and happy...well you told me I should have taken notice of that little voice telling me not to go Christmas shopping didn't you...the town was manic, not a lot of Christmas joy or cheer about and the shops felt like they were giving things away they were so packed I don't think my elbows are sharp enough for that kind of shopping you know, too much padding on them lol, I think from now on it will be online Christmas shopping or midweek quieter time, did you see I won one of the advents over at
Belles and Whistles advent giveaway....wwwoooohhhhooooo...well now onto my card for today and I have a secret for you...sssshhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone but I hate using my red distress inks, I'm fine with every other colour but the red always seems to take so much work to get the look I want and if my fingers are even slightly damp the red smears everywhere when I'm making the card, that's why I'm quite chuffed with today effort, how cute are these baubles and
Holly and Berry images from CC Designs, these are digis but if you fancy the stamps Nikki has the Holly and Berry one in at
Bunny Zoe's and they are on sale at the min too, Nikki has a huge
25% discount sale on all her Christmas goodies so hop on over as they will fly out...so what you waiting for...well maybe read the rest of this first then...the amazing glossy circle and striped papers are from Kaisercraft and the gorgeous lush woven ribbon is another NEC buy, I made my card using the
Papertake weekly lush sketch and Im entering it for the
Saturday challenge and
Stamp Something too...right I have waffled on enough today so I will leave you in peace...Just Inklined is having a blog hop tomorrow and I'm a special guest on it so speak to you then have a wonderful frost free Sunday everyone

Hi Mina. Beautiful card. Love all the red and the image is gorgeous. Christmas shopping on a Saturday is really a no go area. Hollie and I went in town yesterday and I couldn't wait to get back home. A few decorations from the Christmas shop for the hall tree, wellies for Hollie as her feet were soaked and into The Craft Corner for an inkpad and cello bags and home, just in time before the rain. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Donna
ReplyDeleteHi Mina, lovely card, and yes, I have the same thing with the reds. Have no idea why the reds give such problems... but you manages very well!! It looks just brilliant!! Greetz, Frea

ReplyDeleteI love the red, and the baubles and berries look stunning.
ReplyDeleteI can't get a day off work until 23rd December, and I think I'm gonna have to go finish my Christmas shopping next Saturday - not looking forward to it really! Hubby has suggested we go to Cardiff shopping on 19th December, and then watch rugby in the afternoon - not sure I like that idea - he and my son are not good for shopping with - they don't believe in looking around, they think I should know exactly what I want and buy it in the first shop I go in!!!
Enjoy the week ahead!
Love, Andrea xx
