you have to kiss a lot of frogs...

Good morning everyone, almost the weekend again isn't time flying well it is for me anyway sitting here typing all these posts at once lol...seriously though the weeks are just flying past aren't they, we haven't had our Summer yet unless you count that day we had in June and a blink of the eye and it will be Autumn...is that just my age do you think?...my card for today is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week we have a gorgeous sketch by my wonderful friend Jane, its a gorgeous sketch...I coloured this fabulous little Tilda with distress inks and of course had to use a bit of glitter on those fairy wings...this lush paper is from the Basicgrey hello luscious collection and is called Thrive...I used some fab pleated lace, chocolate ribbon, a Prima flower and a Prima diamond swirl to finish...when you have time pop on over to Just Magnolia to see what the rest of our amazing team came up with...well have you all found your Prince (I have) and just how many frogs did you have to kiss to get to him then?...bet that has made you think lol...have a fab day everyone

    Mina, I love your posts and your stories, always perfect for the card you present! Haha, I had to laugh at the "how many frogs you had to kiss" thing, yes, that made me think a little bit, lol. I found my Prince 6 years ago :)

    Gorgeous card hun, that little Tilda is so pretty and those papers are just yum! Yeah, sure did kiss a lot of frogs - and ended up with the Toad, lol!! Hugs Sxx

    Love the pleated sheer ribbon and the shimmer in that flower is divine. This card is a perfect combination of colors and textures. Love it.

    As for frogs, luckily I found my Prince 45 years ago. Not that he hasn't been a bit of a toad over these 45 years but then I have ALWAYS remained the ultimate Princess. LOL

    Mina, this is so pretty! It's funny that you should post this at this time...I have frog-kissing on the brain. Let me explain: my son is getting married on July 29 and the venue for the reception has a huge statue of a frog with gigantic gold lips. It's not a pretty sight! It is my job to decorate this frog so I am making a sign that says "you have to kiss a lot of frogs before you find your prince." Then another one pointing to the frog that says "Take a chance on me". To tell you the truth, I like your card much better!
