Birthday hugs...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and aren't effected by the terrible riots, scary aren't they...I thought I had seen the lowest of the low then I spotted this on the internet yesterday...now that is sickening and really turned my stomach...I'm usually quite a laid back person but this incident made me so so angry and left me wanting those men responsible to get a taste of their own medicine, seriously what is wrong with these people...right rant over now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts and Me challenge, this week its the digi teams week and our lovely Rose's choice and she chose Numbers so incorporate numbers somewhere on your creation...cant wait to see what you clever people come up with...I used this amazing new digi called The Talisman and like every other Sara Burrier digi perfect to colour, I draped him over a paper pieced 8 as my number addition, I coloured the image with distress inks, this lush double sided paper is from My Minds Eye My Family collection, this one is called Aunt, perfect colours for this little fella isn't it...I'm entering this for the Stamp Something August digi day challenge, Deep Ocean challenge and Craft Your Days away Birthday challenge...if all goes to plan I'm off out with my Sister and her family today we are taking the kids to the seaside so I hope the weather stays ok, fingers crossed...I managed to catch up with a few of you last night and wow I have missed so much of your lush work being away so much and I will hopefully catch up with everyone else tonight...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and keep safe

  29. Hi Mina - I hope you had a good day at the seaside today. We managed to take the children to the seaside on Sunday and had such a lovely afternoon - gorgeous weather, which was totally unexpected - it was raining when we left home! And it was the first time the children have been in the sea this year!
A great card - I love the way you've put the image over the number 8. Your colouring is gorgeous as ever, and I love that ribbon and flower.
    Love, Andrea xx

  35. When a number is suggested for a challenge, I only ever think of cut out numbers for embellishment. Your idea has much more elegance and works so beautifully on this pretty card! Hugs, Lesley
