my legs not dropping off...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...did I go to the Doctors...nope...why because my leg isn't dropping off therefore I cant have an appointment for 8 days as they only have emergency apoointments...advice...if its no better in a few days go to the hospital A&E department...oh well lets hope my legs starts to fall off and I can get an appointment lol...well you know what they say about Doctors receptionists (apologies to any of you who are as I'm sure your not like that) whats the difference between God and a Doctors receptionist?....God doesn't thinks he a receptionist lol...righty oh onto my card for today which is for Bunny Zoe's Crafts DT...now how sweet and gorgeous is this beautiful Belles and Whistles Belinda with Teddy stamp, I love Belles and Whistles don't you, they are so so sweet and beautiful to colour...I used distress inks and matched her up with these amazing papers from the Kaisercraft Blea and Ivy paper pad the sentiment tag is from the same pad too...lush aren't they...I also used some of the new Sew Easy Baker Twine-Neutrals, doesn't it work well as a bow and one of the Flower Fantasy wooden ornaments with a button in the centre, the fab sketch is from Stampin' Royalty challenge and I'm also entering this for the Charisma cards negative space challenge, Belles and Whistles anything goes challenge and Crafts us crazy anything goes challenge too...I'm off to the opticians with my wonderful Dad today to pick up his new glasses oh and of course for him to have a quick flirt with the lovely staff in there...you never know there maybe time for a put the world to rights coffee too...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

  4. your card is stunning Mina, i always think your work is so elgeant and well put together. As for the debacle at the quacks, i had to have a good chuckle about G"d and the receptionist, you sure lifted my spirits on a day when i am about to throw in the towel. i wish you well and hope you get to see someone long before the leg falls off, lol

  11. So sorry you are still suffering that pain, but glad you haven't lost that Mina sense of humor! Another classic beauty with this card Mina. Have you tried Irish whiskey for pain? :)

  12. It's funny, isn't it, how 'some' receptionists can make you feel 'crappier' when you ring than if you hadn't bothered. They should come with health warnings!!! Impending death seems to be the only way to get an appointment these days and even then you get moaned at for not coming earlier!! Beautiful CAS card, lovely colour choice xx

  18. Love the card but more importantly loved the joke. We're pretty lucky with our receptionists unless you happen to phone when one particular one is on. Take care and I hope you are fully healed soon, x

  19. Me Again, just thought of a brill tale that happened a few years ago to my hubby. He had phoned the Doctors asking for an appointment, very unusual for him so I think it must have been quite urgent. The receptionist told him she could fit him in about 3 weeks hence. Hubby said that he could be dead by then, the receptionists reply was 'Oh Dear'!!!

  20. Oh Mina sorry you couldn't see the Doc. Last time I had to wait for some time to get in and when I did Doc scolded saying if I'd seen him earlier things wouldn't have gotten so bad. REALLY! Hope you you'll feel better soon.

Your card is another stunner. Love the soft coloring and the papers you used are awesome.

  33. Well, now we know that Dr's receptionists are universal! They are the same here in the US. (at least some of them, you know what they say about bad apples) Hope that you feel better on your own! So did your Dad have fun flirting with all the gals at the Optometrists? I think I'd like your Dad, he sounds like a hoot!
