an oops, some bargains and more photos...

Good morning everyone and I hope your having a wonderful weekend...I did have a card made for today but will all the dashing about yesterday I forgot my camera needed charged and it takes about 6 hours so I will pop by later with my card...so until then here some photos for you...how amazing is this bargain mirror and clock...I paid £5 for the clock and £15 for the mirror and when I give the mirror a little bit of pimping it will look lush...dont you just love a bargain...next I have some before and after shots of the hall in the farmhouse, now remember it isnt finished and need lots of finishing...the first two are the before shots...the floor was filthy and the front door frame unfinished and bare plaster...and of course more of that orange pine I hate so much and you know what happens when it stands still...
one of the windows in the hall...that wallpaper was rank, it had black mould and was inches thick in dirt and dust...we had to wear gloves up to our elbows and masks to strip it
these are the after shots, needs a bit of adding too but I think you can see how fresh and clean it is and look how well that floor cleaned up...even the cladding dosent look bad when its painted
the finished door and frame...not my taste but it will do for now
and the most important thing is its super clean and smells lovely

well what do you think?...its going to look lush isnt it...have a wonderful Sunday everyone and whatever your up to enjoy yourselves

  18. Ok I'm drooling over that mirror & clock they are sooooo up my street hun, the mirror is just gorgeous. I agree with you about orange pine I cant stand it, its erm very old fashioned but not in a good way if you know what I mean lol. The hallway looks fab hun & the cladding looks sooooooooo much better. I had orange pine cladding in a house I used to have, it was there when I moved in & it was like yours on the bottom half so the first thing I did was paint it lol.......cladding is usually put up to hide something like damp so I daren't take it doon lol.

    Lotsa hugs Vicky xxx
