yellow and blood red?...

Good morning everyone, did you all have a good day yesterday, well I went into my craft room yesterday and thought 'right I'm going to clean this before I start colouring', well I thought about it for about 30 seconds then I had a lock in and had brilliant fun colouring and paper piecing this amazing image from the new Tickled Pink release instead, this amazing little fella is called Lil Haunts Vampire Lestat, I loved colouring this and had forgotten how much I enjoyed colouring black, its a bit like red though and has a life of its own at times...I coloured Lestat with distress inks and paper pieced his vest, bow tie and inside of his lush cloak, I had thought of paper piecing his whole cloak (using black or grey for the outside) which would look brilliant but wanted to play with colouring the black instead...I teamed Lestat up with this wow wow wow paper pad from Authentique (see told you I would have to have one of these) this one is the Blissful pad but I think I may need them all...the colours and patterns are fabulous, the stamp and pad are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I added a printed sentiment I made on my laptop and some blood red ribbon to finish, now yellow and red aren't colours I would normally mix but don't they work well together there's something about the yellow that makes the red pop...the sketch is from Stamp with Fun challenge and I'm also entering this for The Crazy challenge which is Movies and my movie is Dracula, and the Cards for Men anything goes challenge too...I'm off out with my Dad today to get his hearing tested and hopefully get him a digi hearing aid, so keep your fingers crossed he doesn't refuse it...have a wonderful day everyone and keep your necks covered for low lying vampires lol

  2. Wow hunny! You have my total admiration for colouring that amount of black (I find black DI harder to deal with than the red, lol) but what a stunning result - just adore his fancy lined cloak too. Good luck with your dad, hope he gets sorted. Hugs Sxx PS. You sure you want the Ice Age story? 's making me squirm just remembering it!
