Good morning everyone I hope your all well...well I got myself all revved up yesterday and rang the powers that be to give them a piece of my mind....er...well shot down in flames lol...turns out my Dad should have rang their helpline (which is what I rang) and let them sort it out, everything from arranging his car to be taken in, new car delivered to him and everything in between, instead of trying to arrange everything himself separately, its even a freephone number too...the girl on the phone was so sweet and lovely too and got everything sorted and a few hours later a brand new car was delivered to my Dads house...you see what happens when a woman goes shopping for the day, all hell breaks loose lol...anyway its sorted now and I didn't even have to threaten anyone with my army of fellow crafters lol, and he has transport until his car is fixed and good to go and bless him he thought he was doing what he should so its not his fault either, now you should all know by now my Dad can do no wrong in my eyes...my card for today is using one of the lush new
Home Grown Sugar Nellie's, this beauty is called
Contemplation, she is so sweet and pretty isn't she...I coloured her with distress inks (I'm still not happy with my colouring atm though, mojo still in hiding I think, I would look under my bed but I'm scared of the dust bunnies)...the lush papers are a half sheet of Basic Grey from the Marjolaine Collection, this one is called Buttercream...gorgeous colours isn't it...I added two strips of ribbon and a bow and finished with a stunning blue Prima glittered flower...the lush sketch is a really simple one from

ReplyDeleteMinna, this card is so sweet, I love basic grey. I love how you see your cards, and know when just the right layout and elements are needed. Alot of crafters don't have that talent. On a different note, I have been wanting to reach through the computer screen and take a bite of Phil's Christmas cake. Ha! Hugs
ReplyDeletestunning ~and so delicatly made ~love it!

ReplyDeletexx coops xx
Your card and coloring of that sweet image are beautiful, Mina! And I'm so glad your dad's replacement car has been sorted out (gee, I'm sounding like you now - sorted out and all, lol) - without you having to fight it out!
ReplyDeleteGlad your Dad's car situation is all sorted, Mina - but isn't it funny when you make a phonecall intending to be all cross and righteous, and the wind is taken out of your sails like that - can be almost disappointing!!!
ReplyDeleteLove this card - my favourite blues and greens - and such a pretty image.
Julie x
Another beauty! I love the soft blues. They are so calming. I'm so glad things turned out right for your dear dad.
ReplyDeleteChalk up one for Mina! I knew you would get results. Congratulations GF!
ReplyDeleteThe image is darling and reminds me of my granddaughters with their long hair and blue jeans. If your mojo is hiding I can't tell it. I would still be careful around those dust bunnies though. It is rumored that they have stolen mojo in the past. It is just a rumor, nothing proven yet but still be careful. Hugs, Linda
Sorry Mina, I just had to laugh...picturing you all primed and ready to blast 'em to the moon...only to have 'em be sweet, helpful and totally reasonable! What fun is that? Glad that it's all worked out for your marvelous Dad. What on earth do you think is wrong with this cutie? You are way to hard on yourself, I think she's adorable! Hope you and your Dad got the world sorted.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
R/
gorgeous!!! Love the cool blue colours! Hugs Juls
