Good morning everyone, I hope you haven't been suffering the storm we have here, I woke up yesterday morning to my two bins empty at the bottom of my garden and the contents all over the place (thank goodness they were emptied on Friday), the wind had whipped one of them so hard it dug a huge chunk out of the grass...needless to say the contents and bins are still there as I wasn't going to brave the elements to collect them, they can wait until the storms die down...my lovely Dad was telling me that his neighbour woke to a satellite dish in her garden and she doesn't even have one, well I suppose she does now lol...I wonder how far it travelled, I had visions of it sailing though the air like a scene from the Wizard of Oz...we did go out for a while though as my Dad needing some food shopping but we didn't stray far as the wind, snow, rain and hail was almost horizontal...straight home a fire on and heating full on and we were sorted for the rest of the day...ok now onto my card for today which is a midway reminder for our mega challenge over at Crafts and Me Challenge, you still have until the 18th January for a chance to grab one of the 6 amazing prizes on offer, the theme is anything goes and you can enter a maximum of 3 times too, so what you waiting get on over there and join in...I used this amazing Dusk digi stamp by Sara Burrier, beautiful isn't she and one of my all time favourite Crafts and Me digis...I coloured her with distress inks and the stunning paper is a Michele R Digital Design paper called Vintage Postcard, I printed it three times and layered the flower, butterfly and one of the leafs...because the image and paper is so beautiful I didn't think it needed anything else...well I hope it didn't anyway lol...I'm entering this for the Top Tip Tuesday challenge and Magical Monday challenge too...oh btw is anyone having problems with blogger?, some of my sidebar info and gadgets keep disappearing and I seem to be dashing around chasing them...oh well I'm sure it will settle down...I'm not going out today I'm going to watch the bad weather from inside in the warm...whatever your up to I hope the weather is better

So sweet, paired perfectly with the lovely DP. Hang in there with the weather. Ours has been up and down. Cold then warm another day. Makes it hard on me physically. The body can't just settle with one weather pattern. Hope your doing well. Hugs (Oh, PS, I found the Pregnant Pinup digi, so I don't need you to email me the link as I had requested a few weeks ago.)
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Mina, I just love the fairy and muted colours!
ReplyDeleteClairexx
Another beauty, Mina. I'm convinced you are incapable of doing anything that isn't gorgeous. You should be here in Iowa. We are having record warm days in the 50's and even 60's! Normally, this time of the winter we are buried in snow banks!
ReplyDeleteThis card is gorgeous Mina, I love the butterfly. Lee x
ReplyDeleteHi Mina. Another beautiful card. Great image and colours. The weather has been terrible. Donna
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful. I love the little rabbit at her fingertips. So very sweet. Weather here in South Carolina is beautiful actually. So sorry. But, I would really love to see some snow. Linda
