pink hugs...

Good morning everyone yes its me again...what is everyone up to? anything exciting?...my card for today is for our new challenge at Colour Create challenge which this week is our wonderful Sylvias choise and what a lush choice she made, Pink, Brown and White, now I know Mo of Mo's Digital Pencil's drawing are the best ever but even I must admit that this one is pretty special...how wonderful are these two cuties hugging...this is the stunning Marion with the Kitty, this is the pencil version which is rougher lines and faded theres also an inked version of her too, but I couldnt resist this soft pencil line version...I coloured them with distress inks and used two scraps of American Crafts A La Carte Rosemary paper for my card...the colours are perfect for this challenge dont you think...I finished with a trimmed Tim Holtz ticket sentiment, a crystal heart, brown satin ribbons and a Prima flower...I hope your all going to have a go at this weeks challenge as it really is a lush colour combo, have a wonderful day everyone and dont forget to pop on over to Colour Create challenge when you have the time

Disco is alive and well - Kenny K Krafty Girls challenge + Bling it on challenge

Good morning everyone...it was a beautiful sunny day yesterday and although still a bit chilly it was lovely to feel the sun on my face, isn't it amazing how a little sun can lift everyones mood, there were a lot of smiley people about for a change...we went shopping yesterday as my gorgeous Dad needed a new kettle, we looked a few places but he was moaning a bit about prices, which I agreed with it seemed mad to spend £50 on a kettle... so we went to Sainsburys and got him one for under a fiver would you believe and lets face it he isn't the type to go for something to match his kitchen and it does the same job also when it breaks down you don't mind getting another for that price...my Dad had a chuckle when the girl told him to keep his receipt as it was his guarantee...he thought it was brilliant...right my card for today is for the Kenny K's Krafty Girls challenge which is a fab sketch by the super talented Rach and for a brand new challenge blog called Bling it on Challenges which is an Anything goes with an added option of adding charms and there are some amazing prizes...isn't this Bling Baby image from Kenny K wonderful and she just screams the era of Disco to me so I blinged her up and coloured her with distress inks, the fabulous paper is from American Crafts A La Mode collections, its called Neapolitan...it reminded me of those light up disco floors, for those of you old enough to remember them...I used these two metal flower charms I found in my stash and some wonderful twill ribbon and a bow...oh no its the Supermarket shop with Dad today, I hope the suns shining again so there's no market rage...whatever your up remember to smile at people it really makes their day

I need some tea and sympathy - Lili of the Valley Challenge + Creative Inspirations challenge

Good morning everyone, I have an injury today, now I expect sympathy and lots of aaawwwww's lol...when I was getting out of the shower on Saturday I whacked the sink with my hand and then Sunday night in bed I hit the same hand on the bedside table getting up for a drink, I could hardly use it yesterday and its so stiff and bruised its agony today, I don't think its anything serious just a whopping big bruise and stiff is all, but I just wanted some sympathy so thought I would tell you about it, you know what my Dads like if I told him he would just say, you clumsy woman lol...luckily its my left hand so it hasn't effected my card making that much, I'm just a lot slower than normal (can I have another aaaawww please, you do realise this is going to go on this whole post don't you)...my card for today is using the fab sketch over at Lili of the Valley challenge and for the Creative Inspirations Red white and Pink challenge too...I used this fabulous Lili of the Valley Rosie with Cake stamp, coloured with distress inks and glittered and this lush Basicgrey Bittersweet Hand dipped paper, the fab pink sentiment is from the Thickers I bought at TK Max, love these so much and I finished with Thickers dots and a lush pink ruched ribbon...I caught up with loads of blogging last night, thank goodness I can type one handed (right this is where you come in with another aaaaawwwww lol) but didn't get hardly any crafting done at all so I may need a catch up today...whatever your up to today have a fantastic injury free day everyone
