too many questions...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy and having a brilliant week...well its official poor Phil has man flu or as we women call it a head cold lol...I text him at work yesterday to see how he was and he took a couple of hours to text back with 'Im too weak to text you'...er...you just did, daft bugger that he is lol...he will be grand with some more hot lemon drinks...it seems that the summer has returned here and my rose bushes have sprung into life again, I wish they would make their minds up...now the question to cut them or not to cut them...I love having them indoors but don't want to stop it blooming...all you super talented gardeners out there should be able to tell me I think...now before I get onto my card for today a quick question for you, are these photos blurred?, I'm not sure if they are blurred or its my eyes or my rapidly ageing laptop...let me know if they look a bit blurry to you please....I have had a lot of questions for you all today haven't I...you must be thinking I only came here to see a card not take a quiz lol...btw brilliant news my Daughters friend is much better and out of intensive care thank goodness my heart sank when I first heard it, all Mothers feel for any family going through something like that don't they..ok no more waffle onto my card for today...don't you just love this sweetheart of a stamp? (oops another question), shes from Sugar Nellie and is from the Diane Duda collection of stamps...this is the stunning Peace Angel coloured with my usual distress inks...she would be just perfect for a Christmas card but I couldn't resist using this amazing paper and cutting to my hearts content from it...these papers are from the beautiful Bo Bunny Gabrielle 6x6 paper pad...I cut butterflies out and lay them over the flat ones but a little off so they I could try to make them look like they were moving, a couple more cut from another sheet from the pad and all I added was some stunning swirls from the Prima Say It In Crystals Mini Swirls - Divine set from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I didn't really use a sketch and just let the papers dictate the layout but am entering it for the C is for Challenge, Crafty Cardmakers Challenge and the Lady Anne's Challenges too...I'm heading to my craft room this morning armed with bin bags and cleaning stuff its desperately in need of a good clean and there's no more putting it off as the floor is covered in double sided tape backing strips...wish me luck I will need it lol...whatever your up to today wherever you are I hope its a lovely warm sunny day for you

a bit of steampunk...

Good morning everyone your comments about your cinema experience yesterday gave me a real chuckle and I thought the feet incident was bad lol...I had a really quiet day yesterday and caught up with a few things and only one temperature so not a bad at all...and then...wall to wall sunshine in the afternoon so we sat on the decking in amongst all the beautiful flowers that are finally blooming and chatted...I love afternoons when Phil gets finished early and we can have some chat time before dinner...I think I still haven't got over the novelty of having Phil home even though its a year now...can you believe how fast the last year has flown by...its like blink and its gone...right for my card today I have an amazing artist digi...the artist is called Mitzi Sato-Wiuff and she is super super talented...I have admired her work on facebook for a while but only just found her Aurorawings shop on Etsy...this is just one of her amazing digis (of course I bought a few more lol)...this is the beautiful Steampunk Angel and Owl 2-Pack coloured with my distress inks, I cut the owl out and raised it a little...she is a dream to colour, I just knew she would be and I cant wait to colour the others I bought and I will have to get some more definitely...I used some lush papers from the Graphic45 Old Curiosity Shoppe 8x8 paper pad I bought ages and ages ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and cut out some butterflies from the same pad...oh I have a hint for you too today...the fab letters are from an old set of stickers and I had no a's left so I cut around the negative and used that instead...it worked ok don't you think and made the sentiment a bit more interesting...I finished with a cog charm...I'm not sure I got the steampunk theme right what do you think?, I always have problems adding more stuff than I think a card needs and all the steampunk cards I see have loads of stuff on them...must try harder Mina lol...the fab sketch is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge too...I'm sorting some clothes out for our holiday today and wont have another post until Saturday with a little bit of Bunny Zoe's Crafts holiday candy for you...I will be posting a few cards next week while I'm away...I will schedule them but will hopefully add some gossip while I'm away...fingers crossed for the WiFi in the hotel...whatever your up to today have a brilliant relaxing one

my cutie Valentine...

Good morning everyone I hope your all having a good week, do you all celebrate Valentines Day?, we dont really but I would love to know what your getting up to for it...thanks so much for all your sympathy yesterday your such a nice bunch of people...my toes are much better just kinda stiff but my knee is still a bit sore and swollen but at least I got out yesterday thank goodness, I was beginning to go a bit stir crazy...I didnt buy much just a few bits and pieces for the house we needed but at least I went for coffee...isnt it strange that we have a lush yellow Gaggia machine at home but I still pay to go out for one guess you cant beat someone making coffee for you can you lol...right now my Valentines card I made for today is using a digi from Sassy Cheryl's Digis, I havent used one of these before but as this cutie was all of 50c I couldnt resist now could I (of course just a couple more popped into my basket too lol)...this is the super cute Sweet & Sassy coloured with distress inks...I couldnt resist making her a bit vintage as think she has a real old fashioned look about her dont you?...the lush papers I used are from the Prima 6x6 Romance Novel pad I bought ages ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, the tags behind her are from the same pad too...I added a few pink tinted roses, some leaves and yes I know yet another punched heart, well it is Valentines Day isnt it...the fab sketch is from the Sketchy Colors Challenge and Im also entering it for the Crafty Cardmakers challenge and Sassy Cheryl's Digi Stamps Challenge too...its supermarket day with my lovely Dad today, I hate the supermarket, I find it so so hard deciding what we will have to eat every day and even after Phil being home for months and months still cant get used to making a meal every night...my idea of meals while Phil worked away was either a tin of soup, a sandwich or cereal lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and if you have any hints or tips for food shopping let me know...pppppplllleeeeeaaaassseee
