now is this a thought or a threat???? - Friday Sketchers sketch 137 + Do you stack up challenge 2-Distress it

Good morning everyone...well it wasn't a very successful house hunting trip I'm afraid...either they were too far out of town or the ones that weren't were teeny poky flats or houses with no parking, but my eyes are peeled and I have only just started...I felt in the need for some comfort food last night so I made something I haven't had for years and years...two slices of wholemeal bread with good Irish butter, very thinly sliced banana in layers and added honey then toasted, brown sugar works well if you have no honey but open the sandwich and toast the topping which makes the sugar caramelise...yum yum yum real feel good comfort food, try one they are fantastically delicious...right now onto my card for today which is using this amazing image from Crafts and Me, this voodoo fairy I think is my favourite from the Brigid Ashwood stamp sheet 1, she is absolutely fantastic to colour, I used a sentiment that could be either a threat or a kindly thought, you make up your mind lol...the stunning paper is from Crate Paper Kate Collection and is called Flower Girl, I distressed the edges and used some lush glittery ribbon and made a pinned bow with it too...I finished with more pins on the sentiment, Im entering this for the Do You Stack up challenge and the sketch is from Friday Sketchers...I hope Teresa will have sheet 2 of these stamps in soon as I cant wait to colour more of them...right now I'm off to do some serious crafting today as I still have loads to catch up on...have a fantastic day everyone and watch out for stray pins lol

Good morning everyone did you all have a great New Years Day, did any of you hit the sales?, let us know what you bought so we can drool over them...my Daughter went to Ikea and spent the whole of the day there spending one of the presents we got her, a voucher to spend on her and her partners house...I had to smile at her with her huge list of goodies, its their first home together and we gave them this little extra present (well not so little actually quite a bit one) so they could make it 'their' home, they loved spending it and getting all the little extras that make a house a home, it was lovely seeing them so excited about all the goodies they bought, I'm still fighting this evil infection so didn't do anything but lie around all day, I hate it don't you when you feel like rubbish but bits crossed I will be over it soon...if not you will just have to put up with me moaning about it a while longer lol...right now for today's card, did you know you can now buy Kenny K images in rubber, they are made by Whimsy stamps and Nikki at Bunny Zoe's Crafts has them for sale, this one is called Troublemaker from the Glam Gang collection, now she doesn't look like a troublemaker does she, just a bit cheeky lol...I coloured her with Distress inks and matched her up with these amazingly gorgeous papers from Kaisercrafts Lush paper pad, fantastic muted rich colours aren't they, I have been dying to use this Martha Stewart Butterfly punch since I bought it at the NEC so this gave me the perfect chance, I finished it with some punched flowers with pearl centre and a lush rich velvet ribbon from my stash...the sketch is from Friday Sketchers and I'm sure there was a Punch it challenge somewhere but cant remember where for the life of me...have a fabulous Sunday everyone and if your hitting the sales today spend some for me

Another little Moo cow - Friday Sketchers 132 + Allsorts challenge week 82 + Craft Your Days away Punch it out + Simon says stamp challenge

Good morning everyone how are you all...well and happy I hope, I went with my Dad yesterday to buy him some slippers, they are one of my own personal hates, I think they are yucky and they are not exactly sexy things are they...anyway is this female logic or what, I think if he is willing to spend a fortune on a pair of comfortable shoes that he wears maybe 2-3 hours maximum why on earth would he want a cheap pair of rubbish slippers he wears almost all day...duh...so I managed to persuade him to let me buy him some slumberland (the same people who make the beds) memory foam slippers which I think were still muck cheap at £20, he wouldn't even consider the ones I wanted to buy him Hush Puppies at £65 but at least I managed to get him up from £3.99 lol, so we have more shopping left to do to get him more pressies mind you finding out he wanted slippers was like pulling teeth so haven't a clue what else to buy him...anyway enough waffle Mina onto today's card...how gorgeous is this little Moo cow, this time he has a couple of little friends with him too...this is Nellie Snellen Koetie Child (style7) from Bunny Zoes Crafts, isnt this stamp just fantastically snowy and wintry, I coloured it with Distress inks and teamed it with these stunning papers from the Kaisercraft Candy Lane paper pad , the sentiment shape is from the same pad too...all I needed to add was some punched snowflakes and ribbon...I used the fab Friday Sketchers sketch and I'm entering this for the Craft your days away Punch it challenge, the Simon Says Stamp challenge and Allsorts challenge too...I will be back at about 6pm with my mega candy results including my extra little candy prize too so will speak to you then...have a fab day everyone

The TV is to blame...honestly - Bunny Zoe Crafts monthly challenge-Autumn love + Friday Sketchers 123

Good morning everyone, now I settled down last night to do loads and loads of commenting but it wasn't my fault honest it was the TV's fault that I didn't do half I wanted to...honestly...first was the Xfactor results and I had to shout at the TV a couple of times because they weren't doing what I wanted, do you do this too or is just me that's loony enough to lol, then was the movie the Da Vinci Code, now I love Dan Brown and have read the book many times, in fact I'm in the middle of his newest one, but didn't want to watch the movie when it came out because I never think movies are as good as the books but this one was ok, not as much detail of course but Tom Hanks (besides from his Templar's pronunciation lol) was excellent, so you see it really wasn't my fault, but I will catch up today...right now today's card is for our new challenge over at Bunny Zoe's Crafts Monthly challenge and huge thanks to everyone who joined in last month...this months theme is Autumn love so get out all those lush coloured papers and rich autumn colours for your images...I chose another of the new releases from Wags and Whiskers this beautiful fairy Rhiannon and teamed her up with Kaisercrafts Peachy Keen papers from the paper pad and the sentiment is from it too, now I glittered her wings but oops the glitter glue made the distress ink run so I have a bit of a streaky finish to my colouring today, I don't think my colouring has been the best since I got back from holiday but I have new paper cause I ran out before and have managed to get some now so it should (fingers crossed) get better, the sketch is from Friday Sketchers...I hope your all going to join in the challenge this month and don't forget my Bunny Zoe's candy too as you don't want to miss the chance to win that lush stamp set...right now I'm off to flat pack heaven and put my wardrobes together, love doing flat pack don't you...whatever your up to have a great day everyone.
