theres nothing that cant be cured by tea, cream and a bit of gossip - Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stAnglar week 107 Donaldas sketch

Good morning everyone, I started to blog hop from your fab comments you left me while I was away last night and then realised there was no way in the world I will ever catch up with them, there's almost 300 so thank you so much everyone for the lovely comments but I will have to start from yesterdays comments and hopefully keep up with them from now on or I will be a little old woman covered in cobwebs with my hands grown into my computer otherwise lol (ok who said I'm already a little old woman...you can go off people you know)...I caught up with my wonderful Dad yesterday and we treat ourselves to a cream tea...scrummy...oh and of course we put the world to rights too as always...my card for today is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & stAnglar and this week its a fab sketch by our wonderful Donalda, I used this cute little bike riding hAnglar girl, she reminds me so much of summer days and I love the way her pony tail is flipping while she rides, so cute...I coloured her with distress inks and use this mix of papers from Graphic45's Once upon a Springtime collection, I love this collection so much, its those colours together I think and lets face it girls you cant beat a bit of Graphic45 can you...the flowers are cute from scraps of the same papers too...all I needed to finish was some ribbons as I didn't want to cover too much of those lush papers...I see all those amazing cards with loads of embellishments on and wish I could do that, mine always look cluttered when I do that...now why doesn't it work for me then...I'm entering this for the Truly Scrumptious Anything Goes challenge and the Pear Tree Designs Stamped image challenge too...I'm spending the day with my fab Husband Phil as hes home for the North West 200 motorbike race and practices as usual hes got his sheriffs badge on...oops sorry I mean hes marshaling...whatever your up to today have a wonderful day everyone

Good morning everyone and thank you all so much for your sympathies yesterday its really meant a great deal to us, a very much loved Aunt died her name was Joan and she was diagnosed with lung cancer while we were in England at the NEC, we were making plans to go to England to spend time with her at the end of January but the disease progressed rapidly and she died on Wednesday, it hit us really hard but at least we have our memories of her while she was alive, she was a smiling happy person with a tinkling laugh and a wicked sense of humour, she also loved Laurel and Hardy and I remember her laughing so loudly at her large collection of films she always made us laugh too so that's the way we will remember her...anyway onto my card for today which is for our Monthly challenge at Just Magnolia and Hanglar challenge, this week I fished out one of my few Hanglars, I haven't a clue what this baby is called but it came in a set, I coloured her with Distress ink and paper pieced her little romper suit and hat...the papers are from Kaisercrafts Candy Lane paper pad from Bunny Zoe's crafts, I finished with some lush wide ribbon and bow from my stash, I finished with a sentiment from the same stamp set and buttons...I'm entering this for the Simon Says Stamp new beginnings challenge and the sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp...have a wonderful day and if you have someone you love who you haven't told for a while today's the day, give them a ring
