half full or half empty?...

Good morning everyone how are you all doing today, I'm still struggling with my internet connection and getting maybe two hours off and on all day long, so all I can do is ask you to bear with me while it gets sorted out...I went to that furniture shop I found last Saturday to pick up the furniture and you will never guess...even though I put a deposit on it someone other than who I dealt with sold it to someone else...gutted or what...but I think I'm more the glass is half full kinda girl as I just thought of what my Mum would have said, it wasn't meant to be girl and something better will come along, well you never know do you...the guy looked a bit shocked when I said it was ok as I would keep looking, mind I took my money back anyway lol...my card for today is for the Sugar Nellie DT and using the amazing Nancy which is one of the new Adorables, look at that amazing face and smile...isn't she just beautiful, I coloured her with Distress inks and teamed her up with this amazing My Minds Eye paper from the Life Stories collection called Antique flowers, gorgeous isn't it, I used a bit of kraft card too and the tags are cut from a sheet of the same range of My Minds Eye...I added a bow and a few buttons to finish, the gorgeous sketch is from the Create4fun Challenge the Craft your days away monochrome challenge and I'm also entering this for the Papertake Weekly anything goes challenge too...no Sunday lunch today but a lovely lazy Sunday with Phil, maybe a bit of mooching about you never know...whatever your doing today I hope you have a fantastic time

Im not in Kansas anymore toto - Create4fun Challenge + Pear Tree Designs challenge

Good morning everyone I hope your all fit and well, I managed to prise my Dads cold fingers from the door frame and we went for coffee, had a little read of the newspapers and put the world to rights and all before 3pm...amazing what coffee can do for you isnt it...I love those afternoons chatting with my Dad, hes 78 and still sharp as a tack with a great sense of humour...love him to bits...right now onto my card for today which is using the beautiful Kansas from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love this sweet image with her little toto in her basket, I can still remember watching the Wizard of Oz for the first time and falling in love with this fantastic tale of fairyland places and people...of course I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with this amazing double sided My Minds Eye Pink large Polka dot from the Lush range...

I finished the card with some beautiful soft satin ribbon and a couple of pins threaded with beads...the fabulous sketch is from Create4fun challenge and Im also entering it for the Pear Tree Designs challenge too...I hope you have a fantastic day everyone and remember even if you cant put the world to rights, enjoy your coffee

Happy 2011-Just Magnolia change + Simon says Stamp challenge+Create4fun Challenge+City Crafter challenge

Good morning everyone and here we are the last day of the year so I thought my card would be to wish you all a Happy 2011 today, I hope the New Year will bring you all good health, happiness and prosperity...as you can see from our new header we have changed a little bit over at Just Magnolia, we are now Just Magnolia and hAnglar & sTanglar challenge, so all you people who are lucky enough to own some hAnglars can join in too, but of course if you just want to use your Magnolias that's fine too...our challenge this week is Anything goes, I used this gorgeous Tilda with Christmas Ribbon which is a bargain on sale at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I think shes one of my favourite Tilda's to colour, I love that ribbon and her hair is so gorgeously girly...I coloured her with Distress inks and glittered the ribbon...the fab papers are from Memory Box from the Gossamer paper pad, so pretty aren't they, I used my glittery Thickers for the wording (I will be so gutted when I have used these up) and added some ribbon from my stash to finish it off...the sketch is from Create4fun challenge but I rejigged it a bit so hope it still counts, I'm also entering it for the Celebrate Simon says Stamp challenge and City Crafter Stamp it out challenge too...I hope you have a fantastic New Years Eve whatever your up too, I'm off to put my feet up and watch some TV as Im going to have a duvet day because I have a chest infection and I'm not feeling the best 'cough cough' do you feel sorry for me, if not then I can cough a bit more if you want lol...I will speak to you all next year (tomorrow)

twinkle twinkle little star - Create4fun challenge week 51-sketch

Good morning everyone well are you all ready for the festivities or like me still doing your headless chicken routine...thank you so much to everyone who has voted for me in the Sugar Nellie competition, I know you have struggled to vote and I really appreciate the effort...I had a fantastic surprise yesterday my lovely friend Lorraine gave me some candy, a fabulous gift voucher, I hope you approve of what I bought Lorraine, it was totally unexpected and it made my day, you really are a little star Lorraine so my card today I made for you, I know it wont get to you in time for Christmas so here's the cyber version for you...I hope you like it...the fabulous image called Hanging the Star is from Mo's Digital Pencil and I coloured it with distress inks, I wish you could touch this paper, its stunning, glittered and embossed so beautifully, its from K & Co but I haven't a clue what its called...I used the Create4fun challenge sketch for it to...well I'm off to run around the garden with not a clue what I'm meant to be doing, I feel the need to make lists, I used to have this thing of making lists for everything, I may need to get into the habit again I think...have a wonderful day everyone

Altogether now...aaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh - Create4fun challenge week 48 sketch + Allsorts challenge-Monochrome

Good morning everyone, did you have a huggy Sunday then?...it was snowing and too cold here so we (my darling husband Phil and me) pumped the heating up full and he made us bacon, sausage, mushroom, potato bread and poached eggs and I made 14...yes 14 cards, my mojo must have been on form...the meal was just lush and yummy and I could eat it again now in fact, the 14 cards were for friends who had asked me to make some for them...well did you all say aaaaaahhhhhhhhh then isn't he just the cutest dog ever, now anyone that knows me will know I don't really do animals, not that I don't like them its just I don't think I colour them well but Mo's Digital Pencils animals are about the only animals I do....oooohhhhhh and I do have a soft spot for those Nellie Snellen Moo cows too though...this fabulous Lahso Apso is fabulous to colour and so quick too, I coloured him with Distress inks and teamed him up with this sparkly lush Making Memories paper from the Noel specialist paper pack, all I needed to add was some fab satin ribbon and two bone brads crossed for a doggy kiss...the sketch is from Create4fun challenge and I'm also entering this for the Allsorts Monochrome challenge I hope its monochrome enough...have a fabulous day everyone and I hope your not snowed in

Colour Create Challenge 56 - Sharon's choice Purple, Aqua and White

Wow I love Sharon's choice for our new Colour Create challenge , Purple, Aqua and white are so brilliant together don't you think and these Kaisercraft Utopia papers from Bunny Zoe's crafts are perfect for it, this fantastic little doll is by Rick St Dennis, isn't he a sweetie, I coloured him with Distress inks and the fab sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge, I used some matching massive buttons and a mixture of teeny pearls from Bunny Zoe's too...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to Colour Create to check out the amazing creations from our DT...phew thanks so much for sticking with me through this long post and whatever your up to today have a fabulous Thursday

BOO!!!!!...Simon Says challenge-Halloween+Create4fun Use a digi image+Fab'n'Funky Use a Digi+Double Dutch 54-Boo to you+Sweet Sketch Wednesday sketch

Did I scare you lol...couple of things before my card details...to all those people asking about why I wasn't in the holiday photos, well I'm one of those people who hate with a capital H having their photo taken, it makes me cringe and I always end up scrunching up my face, in fact no one in my family want their piccy taken with me because they know it will be deleted, and as to one in my swimsuit Phil knows better than to take one it would mean instant divorce and he wasn't planning on spending that much on holiday I think lol...right now onto my card for today, isn't that Pumpkins digi stamp from Just Inklined fabulous just perfect for cutting and raising it to look 3d which is what I tried to do

I coloured it with distress ink and then teamed it up with two papers from Graphic45 and Cosmo Cricket...the spider one is from the Hallowe'en in Wonderland collection and is called Uncommon sense and the spotted is Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather/Woolens , the Boo is made using Papermania glittered alphabet which I bought at the Papermill....I managed to make this card fit loads of challenge, I love managing that don't you it makes you feel really clever lol...I used the sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday, it fits the Simon Says Challenge and Double Dutch Halloween challenges and the Fab 'n' Funky and Create4fun use a digi stamp challenges too...I have some new digi finds to show you this week so will be back with the first tomorrow...have a fabulous day everyone

Now for something completely different - Just Inklined Guest DT card + Create4fun Challenge - week 32 - sketch

Good morning everyone...you know when you get an idea in your head and it dosent work out exactly how you imagined it, well thats my card for today which is for the Just Inklined DT and I decided when I spotted this beauty that I would try something completely different...I don't think I have ever coloured a flower image and how amazing is this one from Just Inklined, so beautiful to colour, when I printed it I printed a circle and decided to just colour the inner circle and shaded the rest, I think it works do you...this image is called Rose bloom and is available now here...I used more of the amazing papers from the K&Co Cara Marie paper pad, isn't it amazing how many different patterns there is in this one pad...I used the fab sketch from Creat4fun challenge and added some cream satin ribbon and two pearl headed pins from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I hope you like it and think my something different card worked well...have a fantastic day everyone

Friday Sketchers sketch 112 + Create4fun challenge-use flowers + Stamp Something-something flowery

Good morning everyone...I hope your having a wonderful weekend whatever your up to...my card for today is for the Create 4 Fun, Friday Sketchers and Stamp Something challenges...this gorgeous digi stamp is from Speschstamps and is called Penny, I love her hair its beautiful isn't it shes coloured with Distress inks...I used a mix of Basicgrey papers but I'm afraid I don't know which pads they are from they are some loose sheets...isn't the frame fantastic, I bought a few in the sale section at Crafter's and Co, I finished with some peach ribbon and a bow and flowers from my stash...I hope you like it and have a perfect Sunday everyone

Oh no is it snowing already + Cute Card Thursday-head start + Create4fun challenge-sketch

Good morning everyone and happy Monday, I hope you had a brilliant weekend...our wonderful Daughter came yesterday morning to make us a slap up breakfast, wow shes a good cook she must get it from her Dad defo not me lol...I had decided I wouldn't make any Christmas cards yet...but...then Mo had to bring some Christmas stamps out on Mo's Digital Pencil didn't she, they are amazing and I couldn't resist the hair on the stunning Pammy's Stocking b/w she is fantastic to colour but then when I saw her I knew she would be...I coloured her with Distress inks and teamed her up with this Making Memories paper from the Fa La La La range, I used the Create4fun challenge sketch and am entering it into the Cute Card Thursday get a head start (on Christmas cards) challenge, I used some incredible red gingham ribbon from my stash...I didn't have any holly leaves so I cut these out of some oval shaped leaves I had and stuck some glossy gems to finish...I hope you like it and have a fantastically happy Monday everyone

A distinct lack of mojo + Create4fun challenge - week 26

Good morning everyone...I had a distinct lack of mojo day yesterday, don't you hate it when that happens...I love this little Happy Little Gnome Meljens image from Whimsy Stamps hes such a cutie, the papers from Panduro and BoBunny Alissia collection are fabulous and the embellishments I cut out from the Bobunny Flutterby cardstock stickers sheet are gorgeous too, but put them together and I had a yuck moment lol...I used the fab sketch from Create4fun challenge...oh well lets hope I have a major mojo moment today sometime or I will have to have a paper hunt, what do you do when your mojo leaves home, I hunt through all my gorgeous papers and the light bulb moment usually appears before I am a fifth of the way through them...I hope you like it anyway and have a brilliant day everyone

All together now aaaaaahhhhhhhhh - Sketch and Stash challenge 37 + Creat4fun challenge-black, white and colour of your choice

Good morning everyone I hope your all well...did you say aaaaaahhhhhhh, now how cute is this little hAnglar baby, its from the new set I got from Ebay...I love them and they come with a baby tag and accessories too...my card today is using the Sketch and Stash sketch, of course the new stash is the stamp set and the old stash is the stunning papers and sentiment from the Roadshow paper pack by Fancy pants that I bought from Bunny Zoe's crafts

its also for the Create4fun challenge which is a colour combo of black and white and one other colour of your choice, I wouldnt normally have used these colours together for a baby card but it works I think dont you...I finished with a black velvet ribbon and bow from my stash....I hope you like it...ooooohhhhh the rest of my candy is on its way so I will post it on Thursday probably and its a good un...wish I could win it myself lol...enjoy the rest of your day everyone

*WARNING* Self portrait lol + Create4fun challenge sketch

Good morning everyone...well do you like my self portrait lol, even down to the red nails (my nails are always red)...did you guess this was the set I would use bet you did...its by La Pashe at Imag-e-ation and they have a promotion on at the min too, the Flippin range of stamps are half price and theres a World cup promotion on too...this set is called Mornings, which is why I look like this, I really do have a dressing gown like this but mine is pink with white and chocolate spots and streaks of Distress inks on the sleeves lol but Im glad to say I dont own slippers like this just pink fluffy bedsocks...the stunning papers are from the My Minds Eye Be Loved pack at Bunny Zoe's crafts. I love them...the fabulous sketch is from the Create4fun challenge and I finished with some satin brown ribbon and bow and buttons from my stash, I would like to take this opportunity to thank my kind patient husband who sat on Saturday evening and sorted all my buttons into colours and individual containers, phew thank goodness I didn't have to do it lol...your a little darling Phil...I hope you like my self portrait and enjoy the rest of your day everyone...oh and Im sorry I didnt comment yesterday but Mr B didnt seem to want to play along with my commenting last night but I will do loads of blog hopping today to catch up
