a 'none abusive' post...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy and well on your way to being sorted for Christmas...would you believe someone on Facebook got my blog post removed from it yesterday, apparently it was considered abusive????...I never thought I would be chucked out of anywhere for being abusive lol...I wonder was someone found abusive about that card, I thought as cards go it wasn't too bad but then who am I to judge...although saying Im not abusive might be a stretch as I almost had an argument in a card shop, its ok I wasn't buying but my lovely Dad wanted some cash envelopes for his Grandchildren and I didn't have time to make them all and at £1 for 7 I couldn't have made them cheaper...anyway off the point as usual, the place was crammed to the doors and I was standing in a huge queue, got almost to the front when someone just walked to the front when a till was empty...well nobody in front of me was going to say anything so of course up marches Mina taps her on the shoulder and says 'Theres a queue you know...wanna join it'...you wont believe her answer 'oh I didn't see it'...ok now I'm a little distracted at time but never enough not to see a huge queue and walk to the front lol...she joined the end and when I got to the till the assistant said 'well done people jump to the front all the time'...I was gobsmacked, is it just me but wouldn't it be logical to just tell them they need to join the end of the queue and not leave it up to their customers to do it...we are too scared to complain in Britain don't you think, everyone will have a grumble about something like that but wont say anything...go figure...anyway now onto my 'none offensive' card for today (well hopefully anyway lol)...how gorgeously cute is this little sweetie from Saturated Canary, its called Spritz and I coloured it with distress inks...I love that cute little face don't you...the amazing papers are from the Kaisercraft - Turtle Dove 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, did you know there's a massive 15% off a whole range of goodies in the Christmas Shop atm too so hop on over to grab a bargain or two or if your anything like me, a lot lol...I finished my card with some fab brown gingham ribbon, a bow and a cute little wooden heart button...the lush sketch is from Sunday Sketch & Stamp challenge and I'm also entering it for the Whimsy Stamps challenge and the Lollipop Crafts challenge too...Its supermarket day today with my lovely Dad and I still have to put up his decorations and finish our living room tree...theres no rest for the wicked is there lol...whatever your up to today watch out for those selective sighted queue jumpers

snow joke...

Good morning everyone...sorry for the pun I couldn't resist using it for my card today and had to use it in the title too lol...you know the days when you go in your craft room and the bug gets you, I had one of those yesterday and made 5 cards and coloured 8 images, hows that for a roll...poor Phil spent most of his evening in the rain with a friend looking at our Daughters car which for lack of a better word conked out, no idea why at the time it just stopped dead...luckily Phil's friend is a mechanic and had some computer equipment in his car that he could wire up to the car to tell what was wrong...so its a faulty battery which isn't tragic but bad enough for a young couple struggling with Christmas coming up so we offered to buy her a new one but little miss independence wants to sort it out herself...but she knows we are here if she needs us I guess...sometimes we just have to let our kids get on with things don't we no matter how hard it is not to butt your nose in lol...right now onto my card for today, how cute and funny is this poor little snowman, he reminds of accident prone me (btw I fell out the door the other day oops lol)...hes from Teddy Bo's Fairy Doodler and is called Pencil sketch Melted Man...I love the Pencil sketch images Gayle does don't you...they have so much character and are really lifelike...I coloured this cutie with distress inks and glittered the edges so he would just catch the light and look frosty...the amazing papers I teamed him up with are from Cosmo Crickets Dear Mr Claus range and is called Santa's letters...I love the lettered side don't you...I cut some out to make the sentiment and finished with a strip of lush lace from Kars...the fab sketch is from the Crafty Creations challenge and I'm also entering it for the Teddy Bo Challenge and Whimsy Stamps challenge too...Its supermarket day with my lovely Dad today and time to do a bit more Christmas shopping I think...I have a huge list to get through...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and wherever you are I hope its warmer than it is here

the stunning Christmas papers and sentiment tag are from the Kaisercraft - Turtle Dove 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...gorgeously vintage and traditional arent they...I finished with a beautiful ribbon bow and a flower from my stash...the next stop on the hop is the fabulous

we all need a little protection sometimes...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and have a fantastic weekend planned...I'm running around like a headless chicken today getting every ones things ready for the wedding trip, why is it always us Mums that do that...Phil does this thing on the way to the airport...he waits until we are about halfway then he starts, have you got the tickets...a pause...passports...did you pack this did you pack that...every single time we go away too lol...one of these days I'm going to wait until we are at the airport and say I have forgotten something lol...I decided yesterday to put a small dart in my dress as it was a teeny bit loose and stuck my finger with the needle, yes you guessed it blood on a white linen dress is not a good look...with a bit if cold water it came out though with no problem but for a few minuets I had a vision of having to run around buying another one lol...anyway onto my card for today...I fell in love with this amazing Sara Burrier digi from Crafts and Me...isn't it so beautiful...its one of Octobers new ones and should be in the store real soon...its called The Protector, couldn't we all do with a protector like this one now and again...I coloured it with distress inks and glittered his wings and the lantern...oh btw someone emailed a while back and asked what glitter I use...its Stickles Glitter Glue-Star Dust and I buy it from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...its lasts for ages and ages and you need only a teeny bit for great effect...right back to the card, I used two Kars papers...one for the background and one that I cut the holly out off...I didn't add anything else to the card as I thought the papers and holly were enough...I'm entering this for the Whimsy Stamps challenge, Fab 'n' Funky challenge and the Creative Inspirations challenge too...well I'm off to do my french manicure and a facial and then a bit more running around, I'm going to need another holiday at this rate lol...whatever your up to today have a great one
