not your average Rock chick - Kenny K Krafty girlz challenge-Music + Craftalicious challenge-Purple and Green + Sketch and Stash No 43

Good morning everyone and thank you all so much for your well wishes and yes 'cough cough' I'm still not well and am looking for a kind volunteer to do my ironing for me lol...my card today is using this Kenny K stunner called Star, don't you just love this sparkly rock chick, I coloured her with Distress inks and glittered her guitar, Im entering this for the Kenny K Krafty girlz challenge which is Music and I used the Sketch and Stash sketch (my neglected stash is this My Minds eye paper from Bunny Zoe's Crafts) although I had to move the sentiment so hope it still counts...and the Craftalicious Purple and Green Challenge...the striped glittered paper is from the BoBunny limited Edition Glitter collection and is Jazmyne mist...I finished with some purple satin ribbon and bow and a selection of buttons from my stash...I hope you like it and I managed to do a bit of commenting last night but still need to catch up so thank you for commenting all those I haven't got round to yet...have a fantastic day

'cough cough' Im not well - Whiff of Joy challenge 86 Janes sketch

Happy Monday everyone...well I'm not very well 'cough cough' do you feel sorry for me, I have a chest infections...its a general condition know as Sod's Law, you know the thing like when you haven't had a holiday in ages then you book one and you get a chest infection or when you drop the bread it always lands butter side down lol....but loads of antibiotics, a hot water bottle, some green tea and I will be sorted, that's why I didn't do any commenting this weekend, I was curled up feeling sorry for myself ' cough cough'...come on now could I have a teeny bit of sympathy here please lol...anyway enough wallowing my card for today is for the Whiff of Joy challenge which is a stunner of a sketch by the fantastically talented Jane, brill sketch Jane...I used this little sweetie I haven't used for ages and coloured her with distress inks, its not the best colouring but will have to do for today though as in case I haven't told you...I'm not well 'cough cough' lol, I teamed her up with some lush Capella paper from Basicgrey, I love this series of paper don't you...I used a thick cream satin ribbon and the sentiments and embellishments are from the Capella stickers sheet...I hope you like it...have a fabulous holiday Monday for all in the UK and everyone have a brilliant Happy Monday

Its all about the eyes - Sweet Pea Stampers Lace and Pearls + Sketch and Stash Challenge 42 + Simon Says Challenge-Paper Piecing

Good morning everyone did you all have a fab day yesterday, I went craft shopping for more candy for while I'm away and to celebrate as I have just passed 190,000 hits so not far to the big 200,000 how amazing is that, if someone had told me 18 months ago I would have anywhere near this many hits I would have thought they were nuts lol...thank you all so much for following and visiting me so often, I love to read your comments and so many of you have a wicked sense of humour, love it lol...my card today is using this amazing stamp from Crafts and Me its called Seeing Through, just look at those amazing eyes, stunning aren't they...I used the fab sketch from Sketch and Stash, my new Stash is my stamp and my neglected stash is these fab papers from the Basicgrey Sugar Rush range called Gummy Bears...I paper pieced her wings and glove so I'm entering it for the Simon says challenge paper piecing one and the Sweet Pea Stampers Lace and Pearls challenge too...the lace I added is a very old lace someone gave me years ago even before I started card making, the fab ribbon is from the shoulders of a cardigan and I finished with a cut out heart from the paper and some yellow pearls...I hope you like...wouldn't you just love to have eyes like her...have a fab day everyone and before you ask I still haven't done my ironing lol

Autumn yesterday and now its Christmas - Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam DT + Friday Sketchers 117

Good morning everyone I hope you all have a fantastic weekend planned...right now hands up everyone who thinks I did my ironing yesterday...yes your right I found loads of other things that were urgent so managed to put it of yet again...creased clothes on holidays I think and a travel iron lol...anyway onto todays card which is for Mo's Dreamteam DT and I used this amazing Christmas Fairy mint how beautiful is this little darling, I coloured her with Distress inks and teamed her up with these stunning Graphic45 papers from Crafters and Co...its a doublesided one from the Christmas past range called The Holly and the Ivy, I added a wide satin ribbon and a double flower and gorgeous velvet leaves...I used the sketch from Friday Sketchers but stuck it on upside down oops, hope it still counts...I hope you like it and whatever your up to have a brilliant day

Oh no is it Autumn already - Just Magnolia week 70 - Dawny Sketch


Good morning everyone well I had the best intentions of doing some holiday ironing and catching up on all my DT cards for while Im away yesterday and guess what I did...absolutley nothing at all except make this card for Just Magnolia...oh well I had good intentions anyway lol...our new challenge over at Just Magnolia is a fab sketch by our wonderful Dawny...I used this gorgeous Tilda I have had for ages and coloured her with distress inks, I have no idea who the lush papers are by as they are from my scraps, gorgeous colours though arent they even if they are Autumn colours but dont worry it hasnt arrived well not just yet anyway...I finished my card with some gorgeous spotted Kars ribbon and some flowers and a sentiment from my stash...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to our Just Magnolia blog to see the incredible work from the rest of our wonderful DT...have a fantastic Friday everyone now Im off to sort out my ironing, Im not saying I will do it though lol

Just how cute can one dragon be - Colour Create New Challenge 52 - Dena's choice + Friday Sketchers 116

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well and happy and enjoying your crafting, I did loads of blogging last night and Im always so astounded at how impressive your work is...wow your a talented lot...its that time of the month again, time for a new Colour Create challenge and this time its the fabulous Dena's choice and what a stunner of a choice it is too...Pastel Lilac, Pastel Yellow and Pastel mint, I knew as soon as I saw this challenge what paper I would use and as soon as I saw this perfect little Draggy image I had to buy him (and of course a couple more dropped into my basket lol) isnt he just the cutest thing every, look at that little face dosent it make you smile, its from Spesch Designer stamps and I coloured it with Distress inks...the papers are of course Basicgrey from the Kioshi range and its called Kiku, the sentiment I made up and printed it on the computer and I finished with a lush velvet ribbon made into a bow, I followed the Friday Sketchers sketch for it...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to Colour Create to have a look at the rest of the DT's amazing work...have a wonderful day everyone

A vision in pink - Mo's Digital Challenge 45-Thank heaven for little girls+Mojo Monday 153 + Craft your days away challenge-With wings

Good morning everyone I have now started counting the days until my hols instead of the weeks...does that mean its getting closer or I'm just desperate for a holiday do you think or maybe a bit of both lol...now for today's card... I think I'm in love, how incredible is this beautiful angel shes called Angel with Puppy and of course shes from Mo's Digital Pencil, I love how Mo has made the softness so amazingly realistic in this wonderful drawing, shes amazing to colour too, I mean the Angel not Mo lol...I used a very faint colour wash for her dress so the rest of her would stand out and teamed her up with this scrummy double sided paper from American Crafts from their A La Carte range and its called Rosemary...I used this fab reusable sketch from Mojo Monday, I love their sketches don't you they always boot my mojo up the booty...I'm also entering it for the Mo's Digital Challenge which this week is Thank Heavens fro Little girls and the Craft your days away with wings Challenge...I hope you like it because for a change so do I, you know us crafter's are always our own biggest critics lol...have a wonderful day everyone

Hunk of the Month - Just Inklined Guest DT card + Sweet Stampin Challenge 40 + Totally Gorjuss-Star + Stamp Something-Digi Day

Good morning everyone deep apologies to all you fish lovers for me eating salmon then making a card with a fish on it yesterday...oops lol, now come on girls this has to be your pinup Hunk of the Month doesn't it lol....isn't he just brilliant, I loved colouring Aubrey Bumblethorpe and of course hes from Just Inklined....hes coloured with Distress inks and teamed up with Fancy Pants papers from Bunny Zoe's crafts...I used the fab sketch from Sweet Stampin for him, love this sketch and will use it again, I'm also using it for the Totally Gorjuss challenge and the Stamp Something challenge too...I finished Aubrey with some string and a few buttons from my stash...I hope you like it...have a fantastic day everyone and no drooling over Aubrey lol

The challenges have returned - Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge 35 + 7 Kids College Fund-strip it down

Happy Monday everyone, did you all have a fabby weekend...I didn't do much but we went to Marks and Spencer's yesterday to do some goody shopping and I bought some of the lushest flaked Scottish salmon....mmmmmmmm delicious...it was cold here last night so I was sitting in my kitchen with a huge fluffy dressing gown and fluffy pink socks eating a salmon salad straight out of the fridge with my teeth almost chattering but determined to enjoy it lol...as you can see the challenge cards are coming back and today's is using the gorgeous sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and I'm also entering it for the 2 dp papers maximum challenge at 7 Kids College Fund too...I used this cute little fella isn't he just so gorgeous with his little fish bowl hes a Greeting Farm set Oliver and Amelia My Favourite things, I teamed him up with Kaisercraft Le Chateau papers and the sentiment is from the same pad...they are both from Bunny Zoe's Crafts ...I finished with some buttons and a thick satin ribbon...I hope you like it and have a wonderfully Happy Monday everyone

Shock horror no challenge card

Good morning everyone I know its a shocker no challenge card today, just one I wanted to try for fun...I was shopping yesterday and found a fantastic pair of sunglasses, gorgeous so I thought I will have those for my hols, well until I looked at the price...£125 are they kidding, I know they were Raybans but still they would need to be goldplated to pay that for them...I think I will stick with my £4 Sainsbury's ones lol...right onto the card, I wanted to try this fantastic Chinese Tilda I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts in 3d, I'm not sure if it worked but it was fun having a go anyway, its good to play with your stash sometimes isnt it...shes coloured with, yes you guessed it...distress inks, the papers and acetate are from different packs from Bunny Zoe's Crafts too...I finished with some teeny punched flowers and added pearl centres...I hope you like it and have a fantastic Sunday everyone

Autumn Granny - Belles and Whistles Challenge-Warm Colours + Cute Card Thursday challenge 126

Good morning everyone, did you all enjoy your blog hops this week?...I'm so looking forward to my holidays now, I'm shattered this week and cant keep my eyes open after 10pm which is not like me so I'm way behind on my commenting but I will catch up I promise...what you all up to this weekend anything exciting?...my card for today is for the Belles and Whistles challenge which is to use warm colours and I used the Cute Card Thursday sketch...I chose this fantastic Granny image shes so cute isn't she, I love colouring Belles and Whistles stamps...I used distress inks for her, I don't know why I say that because I always do don't I lol...the amazing papers are from the Kaisercraft Peachy Keen paper pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, the flowers are cut from one the pages too and I used a punch for the ferns...I hope you like it and whatever your up to today exciting or not enjoy yourselves

Good morning everyone yes your right its me again...sick of the sight of me yet lol...this is my second and last post for today...honestly I promise...if your here for the Wags and Whiskers hop release its just below and don't forget you have a chance to win two of the new releases so don't forget to leave a comment on it...now onto my Just Magnolia card for our new challenge which is to use a sentiment on your card, I used my all time favourite Tilda for my card isn't she just gorgeous, I use her for any occasion shes called Jam Tilda and she always colours beautifully...I teamed her up with a Basic Grey Cappella paper called Sonata and the sentiment, flowers and hearts are from the Cappella Sticker Elements sheet...I coloured Tilda with distress inks and paper pieced her dress...I'm entering this for the Allsorts Challenge Paper Piecing, City Crafter Challenge-Isn't she lovely and the Sweet Stampin Challenge-Use your favourite stamp...I hope you like it and when you have time hop on over to Just Magnolia to see the rest of the DT's amazing creations...enjoy your Friday everyone...phew now I'm off to lie down in a darkened room for three days lol...just kidding I will be back tomorrow of course

Welcome to Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam bloghop + Papertake Weekly Challenge Sketch 46

Good morning everyone and welcome to our Dreamteams monthly blog hop for Mo's Digital Pencil, this month our wonderful host is Rosette and she chose the theme of Die cuts/Punches & Nesties, you should have arrived from the fabulous Debbie's blog and if you havent you could pop over to Rosette's to start from the very start as you dont want to miss any of their amazing work...now as you know I dont have a die cutting machine but luckily I do have some friends that do who were kind enough to send some to me so I could use the shape on the centre, the snowflakes are punched I think in glitterboard...I chose to use this stunning Christmas image is one of the male versions of Stocking and this one is called Timmy, isnt he just gorgeous, he reminds me so much of my Nephew in his new christmas jimjams lol, did you all get new jimjams or nightie on Christmas Eve its a tradition in our family and as you got older it seemed like an extra present...I coloured Timmy with distress inks and the amazing papers are Basicgrey Max and Whiskers/Simon and its double sided...I used the fabulous sketch from Papertake Weekly challenge for my card but missed the text bit oops hope it still counts...I finished with some gingham ribbon from my stash...I wish I could remember where I got this from as I will need more pretty soon...your next stop on the hop is over to the fabulous

Everybody all together now...aaaaahhhhhhh - Truly Scrumptious challenge 39 + A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge-Christmas in August

Good morning everyone, I had a lovely day with my Sisters yesterday, did some non shopping if you know what I mean, buying the stuff you didn't know you needed until you see it or had forgotten you needed, small but important things...did you all say aaaaahhhh to my card today, how cute is that image, look at those eyes now who could resist a Christmas teddy with eyes like that...the image is from Sew Many Cards who is our sponsor this week at the new Truly Scrumptious challenge, the sketch is gorgeous this week and the extra option is Bows, Brads and Buttons, I managed two out of three...the image is coloured with Distress inks and paper pieced with these gorgeous lush papers from Bunny Zoe's Crafts Fancy Pants paper pack which isn't in stock anymore...I finished with a lush satin cream ribbon and bow, a mixture of Prima Christmas flowers and leaves and a stamped sentiment, I'm also entering this for the Spoon Full of Sugar Christmas in August challenge...I hope you like it and when you have time don't forget to pop on over to Truly Scrumptious and have a look at the amazing work of the rest of the DT...have a fantastic day everyone whatever your up to
