Good morning everyone how you all doing?...yes its me again I think I'm on a mojo roll this week and about time too I hear myself cry lol...have you noticed the daylight has started to hang about a lot longer...is that spring I see just peeping out of the ground too, Phil planted some stunning tulip bulbs last year and he says they have started to peek out to see if its warm enough yet...I feel like running into the garden and screaming to them 'get back under its too cold' but I think the neighbours might think I have gone a bit loony...still a while to go for spring yet I guess but we can live in hope of an early one cant we...my card for today has a real spring like feel to it I think with all those pretty bright colours...this stunner is a new Saturated Canary stamp called Eva, isn't she gorgeous and wouldn't you just love a figure like that?...yep me too lol...I coloured her with distress inks (and yes this is using old card) and used more of the beautiful Basic Grey Fresh Cut 6" x 6" Paper Pad for her...I paper pieced her skirt and top and cut one of the flowers from another sheet from the same pad...I added a twirly bow made from stunning Organza Ribbon - Cerise (25mm Wide), I also edged some of the paper with some Marianne D Romantic Lace to finish...everything I used on my card is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the Crafting from the Heart Challenge, City Crafter Challenge and the Craft-Dee bowz challenge too...I need to get my butt in gear today for some last minuet things for Phil and my Dad going away so need to get motivated to move I think...right war paint on and away we go...whatever your up to today have a lovely bright one and I will speak to you all tomorrow for this month Mo's blog hop

a stamp is not just for Christmas...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and having a fantastic week...it was a strange day yesterday, one of those days when you seem to be doing loads but not getting much done if you know what I mean...I had to book flights for my lovely Dad as hes going to a funeral in England...such a sad death of a young Nephew in tragic circumstances so not the best reason to be travelling and my Dad doesn't travel well alone now so Phil is going with him...I wanted to go but am not feeling up to travelling atm...I seem to be waiting ages for my operation don't I but it has only been about six weeks feels more like six months though...wish it would hurry up but the waiting lists seem to get longer and longer by the day here...so I will just have to be patient I guess...but anyway their flights are booked and they are away from Thursday for a week...don't know what I will do by myself for a week but my craft room is in desperate need of a clean up...Phil popped his head in the other day to ask if I wanted a cuppa and left shaking his head and muttering 'how can you find anything in that mess' lol...so a clean up is needed...that should keep me busy for a few days anyway and if I find some extra goodies I will do a candy...fancy some candy???...right now enough waffling...my card for today is using another Leanne Ellis stamp from Sugar Nellie...I know this little cutie is called Poinsettia Girl but it doesn't mean you can only use her for Christmas...I coloured her flower blue/green and made the card a bit more spring like and I think she matches it great...what do you think?, do you use Christmas stamps all year round too?...I coloured this beauty with my usual distress inks and papers from the lush Kaisercraft - Secret Admirer 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad...the flowered centre paper has metallic flowers and is gorgeous...the tag I used is from the same pad too...I added a yellow bow made with some Organza Ribbon - Sunflower (25mm Wide) and finished with a Prima flower and a punched heart...the pad and ribbon are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the lush sketch us from the Sweet Stampin' Challenge and I'm also entering it for the ABC Challenge and the Feeling Crafty Challenge too...right I'm off to get Phil a new shirt for going away and some bin bags for the rubbish in my craft room lol...whatever your up to today I hope you don't have to waste a lot of it cleaning and tidying...take care and I will speak to you all tomorrow
Mina xxx
p.s. my colouring today is using the rubbish paper not the older one like yesterday's...what do you think is it better with the older one?...I think it is but would love to know what you think

I found some...

Good morning everyone how was your weekend anything exciting happening...we didn't get up to much at all really just a quick visit into town for nothing exciting (that's unless you call light bulbs exciting)...I was having a bit of a search of my craft room though and I found four small sheets of my last paper pad so happy days at least I could have a colour and know the inks would spread well anyway...I will just have to scrap the last pad I think, it sticks in my throat a bit though as they are super expensive and I hate wasting things like that...I was thinking though (always a dangerous idea lol) maybe I should cut a bit of a sheet and send it into the manufacturers and see what is wrong with it...might be worth a shot don't you think...thank you all so much for your get well wishes for my poor Dads eye, it spread across his face a little but I'm pleased to say its now clearing up so at least no more freaking out when I look at him thank goodness lol...btw let me know if you think my colouring is a lot better with these old papers than with the rubbish ones, I think it is but it might be wishful thinking...anyway onto my card for today which is using a bit of the old paper to colour...this little cutie is of course from Mo's Digital Pencil...isn't she so so beautiful and I love the toy rabbit don't you...shes called Em Praying and I used my distress inks to colour her...the lush papers are from the Kaisercraft - Bundle of Joy 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I love the soft gentle colours in this pad don't you...I added a huge bow made from Organza Ribbon - Dark Green (25mm Wide) ,a heart embellishment I found in a box and a few pearls from the Mixed Bag 3mm Flat backed Pearls to finish...the fab sketch is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Calendar Challenge, Sister Act Challenge and Papertake Weekly Challenge too...I have a few things to do today so its out and about for me...best get the war paint on...whatever your up to today have a good one and wherever you are I hope your safe and dry

splish spash...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...now own up who left the tap on over Britain...go on own up...how shocking is all this rain, it tipped from the sky not ordinary rain but bouncing off the roads, the only time I have seen similar was a tropical storm in Barbados...then after all that rain snow started then rain again which of course turned into sleet...ten minutes later we are tucked up in the house and the sun is beaming through the windows...what on earth is going on is the world ending... all those poor people in the floods in England my heart goes out to them, I watched them on TV kast night and one young man who had only bought his house last week was knee deep in water and struggling to use a bucket to get rid of it he burst into tears and I just wanted to give him a hug the poor young fella...I hope you havent been touched by all these horrendous floods and your safe and dry...right now enough weather ranting from me and onto my card for today...this sparkly beauty is from Sugar Nellie and is a stamp by Leanne Ellis of course...shes called Mermaid...I used my usual distress inks for colouring and added loads of Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust...I teamed her up with more of the lush Basic Grey Fresh Cut 6" x 6" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts..the ribbon is another of those 'never throw things away that might be useful' things...its from a perfume box I think...dont you just love it when you use something you have saved for a rainy day...I finished with a metal rose charm I bought ages ago at a local shop...the fab sketch is from the Seems a Little Sketchy Challenge and Im also entering it for the Challenges 4 Everybody Challenge and the Crazy 4 Challenges Challenge too...Im off to my craftroom today to hide from all the rain...whatever your up to today stay dry and safe

lllluuuuurrrrrvvvvvveeeee....

Good morning everyone yep its me on time bright and early...your eyes aren't deceiving you lol...I hope your all well and having a great start to your week, well did you all have a good weekend and did you get up to anything exciting?...oooohhhhh I forgot to tell you yesterday but my poor Dad burst a blood vessel in his eye on Saturday...omg it looks horrendous like something out of a horror film and gave me the total judders, but hes fine we popped into the opticians and were told 'it happens' he probably sneezed or blew his nose too hard and his cataract surgery is fine and cant move now cause that's what I was worried about...phew that was a relief I had awful visions of him having to have surgery on it again...I still cant look at him without getting totally grossed out though lol...the reason I'm back bright and early this morning is because today's card is for our new Hearts/Love monthly challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I couldn't resist this little darling Magnolia LF release stamp isn't she gorgeous with her little robe and fluffy slippers...shes called Tilda Rose Scent and I used my usual distress inks to colour her...the amazingly gorgeous papers and sentiment tag are from the Kaisercraft - Curiosity 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad and I made a bow using Marianne D Lace and finished with a couple of buttons from the Prima Buttons - Tea-Thyme pack, everything I used for my card today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Feeling Sketchy Challenge and Im also entering it for the Crafty Calendar Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge too...well I'm busy busy busy today...need to start dealing with things no more time for brooding or feeling grumpy and down...its time to brush ourselves off and start again...I think you know when its time don't you...whatever your up to today I hope its a relaxing fun day for you all...speak to you all tomorrow

waste not want not...

Good morning everyone how are you all...having a good week I hope...its still such horrible weather here rain, sleet and wind...oh how I would love a couple of weeks in the sun...just lying around in the hot sun and discovering new places...sounds like bliss doesn't it...well a girl can dream cant she lol...I had all intentions of doing loads of stuff yesterday but ended up doing nothing at all except bundle up on the sofa with the kitten as a hot water bottle, then I decided to take some photos of him but hes so dark he came out like a ink blot bless him so I will have to wait for a sunnier day so you can see him lovely blue grey eyes, can you tell I'm in love lol...right no onto my card for today...this beauty is from Sugar Nellie's Leanne Ellis stamps range at Sugar Nellie...shes called In a While and is gorgeous to colour, I used my usual distress inks...and glittered her up with my usual Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust...what do you think of the paper?...well this is actually my beautiful birthday card from my Dad, I loved the colours so much I couldn't resist making a card with it...I cut the flowers from the back and raised them up, see throw nothing away you never know when you will use it...I added a lush bow made from Organza Ribbon - Cerise (25mm Wide) from Bunny Zoe's Crafts but I think its out of stock atm...I finished with a birthday button charm from my stash...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering it for the Glitter N Sparkle Challenge, Crafty Calender Challenge and the Dragonfly Dreams Challenge too...I'm off out today some rain or shine I'm beginning to get a bit stir crazy and feel the need to escape for a while...whatever your up to today I hope it stays dry for you and you manage to get out and have some fun too

it doesnt always have to be white...

Good morning everyone how was your weekend?, anything exciting...well all our plans came to nothing yesterday we didn't move anything as the heavens opened and threw everything at us...a bit of rain a bit of snow and sleet and was blowing a hurricane, so we decided not too risk getting anything too wet and nobody relished lugging stuff around in that weather...we didn't even get out to buy her house warming present either...so not a very exciting day all in all but we did head to the pet store for some essentials and for me to coo over the Degu's...if you haven't heard of them look them up but be prepared if you don't like mice kinda things...I think they are so so cute and always manage an aaaawwww...oh and I nearly bought a knitted cable sweater for the kitten but caught sight of Phil's 'your nuts woman' look out of the corner of my eye and changed my mind lol...now for my card for today...now who says wedding cards always have to be white?, well this one certainly isn't, in fact I think it has a bit of every colour in it...this stamp is from Wild Rose Studio and is called At the Altar...its beautifully elegant isn't it, I coloured it with my usual distress inks adding a bit of Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust, the stunningly beautiful papers are from the Basic Grey Fresh Cut 6" x 6" Paper Pad, I added a bow made from my favourite Organza Ribbon - White (25mm Wide) its so easy to make lush bows with this wired ribbon I used a sentiment from the Kaisercraft Mini Clear Stamp set - Wedding and added some beautiful roses from the Marianne Design Paper Roses - White/Blue (RB2214) pack and for a finishing touch I stuck on some beautifully coloured pearls from the Mixed Bag of 5mm Flat backed Pearls, everything I used today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the 4 Crafty Girls Challenges, The Ribbon Girls Challenge and the Delicious Doodles Challenge too...I think its a bit of tidying, organising boxes and maybe a bit more colouring practise for me today, thank you all for the encouragement yesterday I am definitely going for the dodgy paper reason for rubbish colouring...well you all agreed with me too didn't you lol...whatever your up to today I hope its a brilliant fun one for you

"what", so!...and?...

Yyyyyyooohhhhhooooo yes it's me, I'm back...did you miss me lol...I hope your all well and had a brilliant week...I'm feeling a teeny bit better and after a lot of practise have managed a few near decent images to use, I think I have sussed why my colouring isn't the same as usual though...the paper seems to be super smooth this time and the ink isn't blending on it for some reason, it just seems to be soaking in instead of spreading...go figure, naybe its a bad batch or something...could that be the reason or is it a case of a bad workman blames his tools lol, well Im hoping its the paper or the colouring mojo has definitely left the building...its been a super busy week this week, our beautiful Daughter is moving house so everything is upside down and things are stacked everywhere and we have been cat sitting for a mega naughty black kitten and yes I will put a couple of pictures of him on later in the week...he is really affectionate and such a sweetie but like all kittens into everything bless him...poor Phil had to work all day yesterday (or maybe he went in to get away from the mess lol) so I headed to the craft shop for a few essentials (well I had to do something didnt I lol) and they are having a lucky dip sale...I picked up a brown paper wrapped pack of 15 12x12 papers including velvet card, bazzills basics and basicgrey for £1.50 would you believe...I loved not knowing what was in it until I got home too...I think I will go back this week and pick up a couple more for some candy to reward your patience for me not posting...would you be up for that?...oh and before I forget my latest candy doesn't seem to be too popular, any ideas why?, I thought it was a good mix of prizes but maybe I should have added a few other things...what do you think?...right now onto my card for today, now you wont need any guesses to figure out who drew this little fella would you...yep of course hes from Mo's Digital Pencil...Mo is amazing don't you think...just a few strokes of her pen and she created the most amazing moody look on this fabulous little Stink Eye Boy...super talented...I coloured him with my usual distress inks and teamed him up with these lush coloured papers from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Doodle Deux I love the funky colours in this don't you, I bought this from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I used some Thickers alphabet stickers for the sentiments and finished with a few big coloured paper clips and a few buttons all from my stash...the sketch is from the YNS Challenge and I'm also entering this for the Sister Act Card Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge (this little fella makes me smile so I hope its ok for entering it) too...we are heading out shopping for my Daughter house warming present today and might be moving a few things over to her new house too so a busy day but I will be back bright and early tomorrow with some gossip and a new card...if you haven't entered my candy yet get your name down there's still a few days and spread the word please...have a brilliant day and whatever your up to I hope its fun
