christmas outfit sorted...

Good morning everyone...I need a little bit of advice, my Daughters cat isn't eating very well, she has hardly eaten half a bowl full of food since she arrived...any ideas how to tempt her...I have tried her favourite things like ham but she isn't having any of it...I reckon she is missing her owners even after all the fussing she is getting from us...should I be worried or will she eat when shes good and ready?...I didn't do any crafting at all yesterday, I had a little play of some things like cutting out stuff but didn't really get down to any card making etc...in fact I even cooked instead of crafting...I know shock horror eh, imagine cooking instead of crafting lol...I'm sure that urge will pass real soon though...right now onto my card for today...I love this fabulous little fella and he just goes to show you don't need to colour him black, let your imagination go wild or do what I did and colour some bits paper piece him a lush Christmas outfit...this is the fabulous new Edwin With Derby hat from the Little London collection ...hes great isn't he and look so dapper in his festive suit and hat...I coloured him with distress inks and the papers I used for the piecing and card are from the stunning new Echo Park - Reflections Christmas 6x6 Paper Pad...I cut some of the checked paper into holly leaves and used a sprinkling of red buttons (some from the Big Red - 25g bag) to finish...everything but a few of the buttons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from The Sweet Stop Challenge the Marvelous Magnolia Challenge and the Dream Valley Challenge too...I'm off out today I'm a little fed up babysitting (or should that be cat sitting) and need some fresh air I think, I'm sure the cat will be fine for a while without me fussing over her (although Phil is just as bad as me lol)...so I'm heading to Town with my lovely Dad for a little bit of retail therapy and get some things I have put off until I made a trip into town if you know what I mean...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and any advice about the cat would be greatly appreciated

bbbbrrrrrrrrrrrr....achoo....

Good morning everyone...thank you all so much for the well aimed boot up the bum but it didn't work because...I have the cold....right all together now aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh you poor thing...I'm coughing sneezing and sniffing like a good un...poor Phil came home to me lying on the sofa feeling really sorry for myself and lying in a massive pool of self pity lol...good thing is there is a cold going round but it seems to be one of those quick virus thingies (technical term) that doesn't last too long so your kicks wont have gone to waste and as soon as I can get myself out of my pool everything will be back on par asap....so there was nothing done at all yesterday and we were supposed to head out for afternoon coffee when Phil got home but the pool wouldn't allow me lol...I couldn't even head out with my lovely Dad as he COPD and I couldn't risk giving him a cold because it never stops there with him it always gives him a nasty chest infection and hes way to precious to pass it on too...Phil's grand he never gets anything at all, in fact he hasn't even had any childhood illness' that we all got...isn't he a lucky one, well in one way but then he gets to look at the hangdog, snotty expression on my face when he gets home doesn't he lol...anyway enough self wallowing and sniffing and onto my card for today...how cute is that fabulous Edwin Magnolia stamp, hes from the Christmas Story release and is called Edwin with Windling Fern...I coloured him with distress inks and paper pieced his hat and sweater with some of the stunning papers from the new Echo Park - Winter Wishes pad...I used the same pad for the background paper but I stamped the trees on it using the Kaisercraft Clear Stamps - Turtle Dove stamp set, the sentiment is from the same set too, I love these Kaisercraft stamp sets they are such a bargain for what you get, I finished with some Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust and a gingham ribbon bow from my stash...everything I used except the ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering it for the Midweek Magnolia's challenge, Tildas Town challenge and the Marvelous Magnolias challenge too...right I'm off back to my bed with a box of tissues and a couple of tablets for my pounding head...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and watch out for those virus' they sneak up on you when you least expect them
