SPARKLE & SHINE BLOG HOP...

the image I got to show is the so so cute Puppets...brilliant isn't he...I coloured him with distress inks as always, cut him out and used some amazing papers from the My Mind's Eye Winter Wonderland collection...the paper with the house is called At Home and I cut some presents for decoration from the Presents paper...I finished with a sentiment from the Season Greetings stamp set by Crafty Inspirations which are available at Funky Kits stamped in Barn Door distress ink

Hop Hop Hopping along...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well...its that time again, Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteams Blog Hop time...I have the privilege of hosting this time so this is your first stop...I chose Ribbons as my theme (now come on what else would it be from me lol)

this little sweetie is another stunner from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Summer Girl, isn't she just perfect for any summer occasion card...I coloured her with distress inks, glittered her fabulous sunglasses (I so want a pair don't you) and the amazing papers I used are from the Carta Bella - Beautiful Moments 6x6 Paper Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...perfect summery girlie colours don't you think...I finished with two different ribbons to match the papers and a tiny little ice cream brad with the back cut off, the sentiment is cut from the paper

Swimming for Katie...

Good morning everyone, welcome to our part of the blog hop and fundraiser for Katie, if you aren't aware of who Katie is, she is just like us all, a Wife, a Mother of 3, and a Crafter, except what makes Katie different from the rest of us is she was suddenly diagnosed with an inoperable cancer, virtually overnight. A few tummy aches and then stage 4 gastric cancer. Her first post about it is here. The idea of the “Swimming for Katie”Blog Hop and Fundraiser came from her recent post here, Katie's story started just before Christmas last year and she is now in Hospital again and is very ill, her wonderful family are with her constantly. You can read all about the hop and her story here
I'm sure you have all heard of the Swimming for Katie campaign but we are just a little reminder just in case you haven't...I'm the first link on this blog hop chain so it all starts here

I used the Keep Swimming Octopus digi for my card, printed out four in different sizes and cut them out, these gorgeous papers are from Magnolia would you believe...I love the spots as they look like bubbles...I used the Keep Swimming flag from the same digi attached to a pin and stuck it into my lush striped ribbon bow

this is not the only digi available to buy for the fundraiser, there are more, each drawn by a different designer and there are stamps for your rubber lovers...hop on over and check them out here there is bound to be something you love...or if you would just like to donate there is a donate button too
This is such a worthy cause, we have all been touched in some way by this horrible disease and this is a way to help in some way, so please is you can please help...but if you cant could you help spread the word that would be fantastic too

Day two of the Sugar Nellie blog hop...hic

Good morning everyone and welcome to Day two of the Sugar Nellie blog hop, how amazing was everyone's work yesterday showing you the gorgeous new release...gorgeous aren't they...the hop order is the same as yesterday so you should have hopped here from the super amazing Tiet's blog and if not hop on over to the Sugar Nellie blog to start at the beginning...today I have the most fantastic pair of mice to show you, how perfect is this image for a wine drinker or even for Christmas, I have someone perfect in mind for this card lol...I'm saying nothing as she would kill me...this is the fantastic Bubble & Squeek and its of course available at Funkykits, I coloured them with distress inks and teamed them up with these amazing Prima papers from the Annalee Collection called Poetry...I added a huge silk organza bow and a Prima flower...the sentiment was printed on the computer and I finished it off inside (thought it fitted the theme of the card lol)

Welcome to the Crafts and Me blog hop

Yes its me again everyone but this time its for the Crafts and Me bloghop and dont worry this is for tomorrow too so you get a day off lol... I used this amazing digi called Poppy but I only used the head part and enlarged it, I coloured with distress inks and glittered the rest of her, the amazing paper is from Echo Park and is called Black Damask, this is the reverse of the black...I added some ruffled lace and grey satin ribbon which I ruched...I finished with a Happy Birthday stamp...the stunning sketch is from Mojo Monday Thanks for coming to visit, don't forget to leave me and all the other DT members a comment, hop on over to the super talented VICKY next who is bound to have something incredible to show you enjoy the rest of the hop everyone

Tribute to Ginger Blog Hop - Happy Birthday and Happy 4th July

Good morning everyone and to all our American cousins Happy 4th July...I have a very special card for you today...the fabulous Mo from Mo's Digital Pencils Mum Ginger is having a special Birthday ...how fantastic to have your birthday on the 4th July all those fireworks and celebrations just for you...so the girls from the Dreamteam and Challenge team are giving her a special celebration by making and sending her cards and doing a special blog hop just for her...you should have arrived at my blog from the fabulous Shell's blog if you didnt you can hop on over to the super talented Jaks blog to start the blog hop...I used the incredible Joy image, dont these nuns make you smile and they are one of Ginger very favourite images...I coloured them very lightly with Distress inks and coloured their stocking green for a bit of colour...the stunning paper is by Basicgrey from the new Capella range

I added some wide cream satin ribbon, thin green and a mixture of cream roses from my stash...I also made a little gift carton, Im not telling you whats in it in case Ginger didnt get it yet...
