bright and cute to the extreme...

Good morning everyone are you all well?...well I have a new printer sorted, I booked it online to collect  in store but I think the store sorta missed the idea of click and collect, I went in armed with my reservation number and debit card to be met by a young man who looked like he had had a very heavy night before...I gave him my number which he didn't even look at then he asked what have you ordered, a Printer I said, what make, I told him...what model I told him that...do I want to pay cash...yes I said...then realised hang on isn't this called shopping when he went to the shelf to collect it...what was the point in my reserving it when I could have went in picked it up from the shelf and took it to the checkout lol...maybe he was just having an off day as the irony of the situation was totally lost on him bless him lol...anyway I still haven't tried it yet but fingers crossed I will get some time this afternoon and report back...oh and I got a bargain at Sainsburys too...they have a 25% sale on their clothes so I was having a little rummage when I found a pair of black linen trousers I like...no label or price tag and not another pair in sight...so I went to the customer services so managed to find a index number on the care label and punched it in...oh they are on sale she said...£6 would you believe and she then gave me the 25% off for the offer too...so I got a lush pair of linen trousers for the princely sum of £4.50...oooohhhhhh I love a bargain don't you...right now onto my card for today...all together now...aaaaaaaawwwwww how cute is this little bear, look at that adorable little face...its a Crafter's Companion stamp called Crafter's Companion Party Paws - Bamboo's Favourites...I used my usual distress inks for colouring and thought I would go bright and pretty for the papers so used these lush papers from the Echo Park - Here & Now 6x6 Paper Pad for it...I also used a knot made with Organza Ribbon - Lime (25mm Wide) a Prima Flowers Primmers - White Cotton flower and a couple of buttons from the Ice Storm - 25g button pack...everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and the Artistic Inspirations challenge too...its supermarket day with my Dad today and you all know what that means too don't you...yep 'put the world to rights coffee...quick question does anyone else find planning meals a real pain in the butt...I hate it, if someone would just sort out the ingredients and menu I would gladly do the cooking...its the organising I don't like...have a brilliant day and I hope your menu for this evening is already planned lol

the scent of summer...

Good morning everyone...did you all enter for this months Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly candy yet...if you didnt then its the posts below this one and its a good one too...a chance at a spending spree...the garden seems to be bucking up a bit since we decided drastic action was need and last week I decided I would use my new sacatures to chop away at one or two (or even three lol) plants that looked like they had died and despite Phil mocking me and saying he wanted to dig them up and reuse the pots they have sprouted again would you believe..a bit chuffed and very smug dosent even touch how I felt when I showed him last night lol...I think even my lovely Dad was a little impressed as he was down for his dinner yesterday evening and said he thinks the garden is slowly coming back to life...phew I thought it was knackered to tell you the truth (thats a technical term by the way lol) and Im so releaved that all the work and love we put into those plants and making the decking somewhere lovely to sit hasnt gone to waste, we did have a bit of a giggle though when Phil went behind the swing seat to check on his tomatos and touched the canopy, whatever water was there tipped over him and he turned to me giving me a look because I was watering some plants with the hose pipe and he thought I had squirted him with it, it took ages to convince him it wasnt me, well it was a bit harder with me rolling about laughing at the time lol...right now onto my card for today which is using one of the new Crafters Companion Barkley stamps...this cute one is called The Scent of Summer...like I have said before Im not the best colourer of animals but I enjoyed this one anyway so I hope you think its ok...I used my distress inks for it and teamed it up with some beautiful summery papers from the Carta Bella - Cool Summer 6x6 Paper Pad, the little tag is from the same pad but is stamped with one of the sentiments that came with the stamp...I finished with a huge blue bow and a Prima Flowers Primmers - White Cotton flower topped with a pink button, everything except the bow and button are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the Crafty Calender Challenge, Brown Sugar Challenge and the Challenges 4 Everybody challenge too...Im off out with my lovely Dad this afternoon so best get some war paint going later...whatever your up to today watch out for hidden pockets of water

every little girls needs polka dots...

Good morning everyone did you all enjoy the blog hop yesterday...what did you think of the Bags of Fashion release...aren't they gorgeous?...I wonder which ones you chose or did you go for them all?...we had a nice day yesterday, lunch out and bit of shopping (the necessary kind not the fun kind though), a little visit with our beautiful Daughter then home...the plan was Chinese for dinner then a movie but Phil had a sudden surge of energy and decided to paint the hall????...go figure...oh well it gave me a chance to have some playtime in my craftroom anyway and the bonus was the hall walls got finished not all I need to do is decide what pictures to put up and where...rip up the carpet and do the banister and stair rail...phew that's a lot and that's just the hall...ever wish you hadn't started something lol...anyway after our Chinese Phil nodded off (energy reserve gone I guess lol) so no movie but its better with a painted hall than sitting watching a movie I think don't you?...right now onto my card for today, I couldn't resist using another of the cute little girls from the Crafter's Companion Angelique & friends stamps for my card today, this cutie is called Isobel...its ages since I have done anyway real paper piecing so I may have gone just a tad overboard with it on this one lol...I coloured the bits I didn't paper piece with my distress inks...the fantastic papers I used for the card and paper piecing are more from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Divine...lush soft pastel colours aren't they?...because the stamp and papers were so pretty all I used to finish was some of the beautiful Prima Say It In Crystals Mini Swirls - Divine aren't they stunning, they are a mix of swirls in pearls and crystals and a few scattered gems from the Mixed Bag Clear Flat Acrylic Round Gems - 3mm, 4mm & 5mm...everything I used for today's card is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from the Papertake Weekly challenge and I'm also entering it for the Allsorts Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge...we are off for breakfast in Town today and hitting a few shops while we are there...we are looking for a new throw or bedspread for our bed to ring the changes with colours for our bedroom that's next on our hit list (after the hall that is)...phew I'm exhausted just thinking about it lol...whatever your up to today I hope you have a lovely restful one
