Good morning everyone have you all recovered from the shock bet your all breathing a sigh of relief that I wont be moaning on and on now lol....yes I have a card to show you at long last...I took your advice had a little mooch through Pinterest, went to my favourite sketch site, Mojo Monday and put everything aside except what I had to use for my card and although it took me three hours (it usually takes me 15 minuets to colour and about 30 to make a card) I made my card...punched the air and shouted yes...the neighbours must think I have gone nuts lol...mind I have only made one so the mojo is just peeking I think...I cant thank you all enough for all the help and support you gave me, I must admit I was feeling a bit panicky because although my mojo has gone astray like everyone's does now and again but it has never gone missing totally like this time...its so strange isn't it how I feel committed to posting something everyday, a lot of you said take a break from creating and I think it helped loads...so a big massive thank you to all the ones who cared and left me a comment...your all sparkly twinkling little stars...ok enough slushy stuff lol...onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts and Me Challenge...this time is our lovely Nic (Coops) choice and she chose Floral Frenzy...now who needs an excuse to add loads of flowers eh?...I used a stunning Hannah Lynn image from Crafts and Me for my card...this is the beautiful Corinne and she colours so easily with all that amazing hair...I used my distress inks and teamed her up with more of the papers and sentiments from the incredible Kaisercraft - Remember Me 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...love this pad so much, I finished with two different ribbons and loads and loads of roses...the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday (of course) and I'm also entering it for the Challenges 4 Everybody Challenge and The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Challenge too...I'm off to town today as I have a few errands to run and maybe a little bit of retail therapy...does you the power of good sometimes doesn't it...I might even treat myself to lunch...oooohhhh I love little lone mooches like that now and again don't you...whatever your up to today I hope you have a great one

spring bride...

Good morning everyone I hope you had a fabulous week and have something even more fabulous planned for the weekend...now heres a little tale about the sign of our times...I was sitting on the sofa in our living room minding my own business when out of the corner of my eye I spied a couple of young fellas maybe about 11 or 12 hanging around next door and they were looking around and just about to head up next doors path...so being the good neighbour that I am (pauses to shine halo lol)...I peeped through my blinds to make sure they knew that someone knew they were there...they turned around quickly but then jumped on next doors wall and started walking back and forwards along it with me watching...then to my great surprise they started making rude gestures and ranting, raving and swearing (very loudly as I could hear them through double glazing) at me...which took me and a little old lady walking on the other side of the street by total surprise...this went on for a few minutes then I decided to go to the front door to say something to them...of course they ran off but came back after I went in and started again this time on our wall...this happened a few times until I decided to just ignore them to see if they would go away...they did of course eventually but came back two times in the evening to start again, Phil was home by then and they got the shock of their lives and quickly ran off when he went out to them...when I was growing up I wouldn't have dared do anything like that never mind stand shouting and swearing at an adult, my Daughter was taught good manners too...were you the same?, whatever happened to good manners and respect, I truly despair for our youth when parents don't even teach them these basics...aaaaarrrrrggghhhhhh...rant over...well for now anyway lol...right now I have come off my soap box I will get on with my card for today...how stunningly beautiful is this new CC Designs stamp...this is the lush Mashi's Muffins Engaged, I coloured her with my usual distress inks...I teamed her up with these gorgeous new Carta Bella - Cool Summer 6x6 Paper Pad...aren't these the perfect colour combo...I finished my card with a bow made with some Organza Ribbon - Dusky Pink (25mm Wide) and a flower from the Prima Flowers Perle Bebe - Sun Kiss pack, everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from the Seems a Little Sketchy Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Stamptacular Sunday challenge and The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Challenge too...I'm off out to town with our beautiful Daughter today for a girlie days shopping and lunch...whatever your up to today watch out for cheeky wee teenagers lol

a fight over bacon rind...

Good morning everyone, did you all have sun yesterday then...mind the temperature didn't go over 8c here even with sun, but there's something about sunshine isn't there, it always seems to put a smile on everyone's face, mind it does show the dust up in your house doesn't it lol...we didn't really get up to much yesterday, after two hours waiting in a super crowded outpatients department for a waste of time appointment that could have used better we did a bit of shopping for dinner then went home for lunch...poor Phil was shattered and sat down for a little while after lunch and nodded off bless him...so I decided to just let him sleep and of I popped to my craft room for a tidy up...nope your right no tidying was done or crafting for that fact...the mojo wandered off into the sun I think and I spent ages gazing out of my craft room window watching the birds going back and forwards fighting over and eating the bacon rinds I had left out for them and sipping tea (me not the birds of course)...very relaxing but nothing done...by the time I came back downstairs Phil was awake and I made a pasta sauce ready for dinner...so we did nothing but relax...I should have spent it hunting for my mojo I think lol...right now onto my card for today which a complete contrast from yesterday bright and sunny card...its for our new challenge at Crafts & Me Challenge, this time our theme is to Add A Charm...I don't really do charms do I but I found this lush love one with the top cut off it made a great sentiment too...I used this beautiful Crafts & Me image Art Deco Pearl for my card, coloured with distress inks and teamed up with the lush Prima 6x6-Fairy Belle pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts (its an old one so not there anymore)...I finished with some lush sheer soft gold coloured ribbon saved from a Christmas box and some punched butterflies to finish...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday challenge and I'm also entering it for the Anything Goes Challenge and The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop Challenge too...I'm off to do what I should have done yesterday and tidy my craft room today, maybe my mojo will be hiding under all the piles somewhere...whatever your up to today I hope you manage to get out and about and have some fun

just a heart or two...or three...

Good morning everyone how you all doing?...well I didn't get out at all yesterday because of the return of the klutz, I only fell down the stairs didnt I, which was painful enough but I bent some of my toes weirdly when I fell and spent the rest of the day limping and nursing a very bruised knee...omg sometimes I'm too dangerous to let out of bed lol...they aren't broken (well I hope they aren't) because I can bend them ok, I think I just wrenched them...ouch...point of that was though that I didn't get out so no shopping trip or coffee or anything...ok are you feeling sorry for me yet lol...ok enough feeling sorry for myself onto my card for today, this isn't a colour combo I would normally use but it works ok don't you think?...how stunningly beautiful is this image from Mo's Digital Pencil...perfect for any love card...this is the gorgeous Full Heart, I coloured her with distress inks and I have been playing around mixing some colours together to get different ones for this beauty, having loads of fun discovering what they look like together too...I teamed her up with these lush papers from the My Mind's Eye - Oliver 6x6 Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...that yellow really suits her don't you think...I finished with just a few more punched hearts (well you can never have too many hearts or butterflies I think lol), a lush cream coloured satin bow and a cream crinkly rose...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the Card Makin Mamas challenge, Totally Gorjuss challenge and the Papertake Weekly Challenge too...Im going out today come hail, rain, shine or stairs lol...whatever your up to today watch out for those things that life puts in your way they are lethal lol

twilight zone....

Good morning everyone...did you all hum the theme tune when you read the title lol...it was like the twilight zone yesterday I lost a whole day so I guess I'm still not 100%, hence why the lack of card yesterday, I had one made and everything but spent the day lying around with steam coming of me...and no I don't own a sauna it was the return of the dreaded temperature lol...anyway welcome to this months Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteams Blog Hop...you should have arrived here from the fabulous
blog...if you didn't then pop on over to the fabulous Julie's blog...shes our host this month and she chose the theme of Embellishments (the more the merrier)...oh and don't forget to leave a comment on everyones blogs for a chance to win one of two $5 credits for Mo's Digital Pencil too

I find it quite hard to use a lot of embellishments, I think its because I never know when to stop or where to put them lol...but I did my best...I used this stunning Gimme a Bee image for my card...isn't she so cute...I coloured her with distress inks and glittered her pom poms and the bee on her sweater...the amazing papers are from the Kaisercraft - Pickled Pear 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad, I bought the pad and the stunning Sonia Rose - Ivory  (the roses on the bow) from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished my card with a few scattered black pearls, a sentiment from the same Kaisercraft pad and a huge yellow bow...I hope that's enough embellishments lol...your next stop on the hop is to the fab
who I'm sure will have something stunning to show you

the fabulous sketch I used is from the Feeling Sketchy challenge and I'm also entering it for the By The Cute & Girly challenge and the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge too...Its supermarket day with my lovely Dad today, here's hoping I can get around without steam coming out of my ears lol...whatever your up to have a fabulous day and enjoy the rest of the hop...oh and don't forget your comments for a chance to win too

altogether now.....Santa clause is coming to town...

Good morning everyone...bet your singing in your head now lol...isn't it amazing that when you get your head in the 'mode' you can get more done in one morning than you have in the month before...I got loads of the extras for Christmas done yesterday I was like a woman on a mission stotting from shop to shop, lists in hand ticking things off as I went and whoosh before you knew it finished what I had to do, I still have a bit to do but didn't have the lists with me lol, I'm one of those people that makes lists for everything or I would remember nothing at all...I kinda wished I had the rest with me I'm sure I would have got the whole lot finished...well we finally managed to get our Daughters car fixed it would have been cheaper to buy her a new one lol, well that's a bit of an exaggeration but you know what I mean...we said we would get it fixed for her Christmas present as she needs her car but it seems strange just having little things to put under the tree for her...mind Phil says my idea of 'little things' and other peoples are totally different things and most people would call my 'little things' main presents...well shes our only child and is meant to be spoilt don't you think lol...right now onto my card for today and Santa has finally arrived, I just realised the other day I hadn't used a Santa image for a card this year, well that had to be rectified asap so here's the fabulous happy gorgeous Skating Santa...isn't he brilliant, look at that face...hes by Rick St Dennis...I coloured him with distress inks and glittered him up to within an inch of his life lol...the amazing papers are a sheet from Cosmo Cricket's Dear Mr Claus range and is called Santa's Letters...I love the stripe side combined with the ornaments side don't you...see this is why I love double sided papers they go together so well and you don't even have to think about it...I finished with a thin red ribbon and attached a ribbon bow to one of the baubles cut from the paper...I have no idea where the sketch is from I found it in an old notebook and liked it so used it, if anyone knows tell me so I can give them credit please...I'm entering this for The Pretty Little Ribbon challenge, House of Gilli challenge and the Sweet Stampin challenge too...I'm off to finish the rest of my lists today while I'm on a roll...whatever your up to today have a good one

all good plans...

Good morning everyone I hope you all had a fantastic weekend...as you can guess from the title things didn't quite go to plan yesterday, we went to collect my lovely Dad and he was hacking and coughing, I don't know if I have mentioned it but he has COPD so a cough like that usually means a chest infection at best...so we spent a load of the afternoon ringing Doctors and getting prescriptions then hunting down a chemist to get it filled, so lunch in the Town just didn't happen but the important thing is he is sorted and can still go for his appointment on Tuesday...so my wonderful Phil has taken him to Belfast very early this morning and he will be away for most of the week I think as my other Sister from England is there visiting too...I had a lovely few hours hopping around your blogs last night and plan on doing loads more tonight too...I have been a shockingly bad blogger lately but the days just seem to fly past...I still cant believe its March already it only seems five minuets since Christmas doesn't it...anyway onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge and this month its my choice of theme and I chose Spring Colours...I love the soft gentle colours of Spring don't you and they always make a card look so fresh, so dig out all those lush coloured spring papers and I cant wait to see what you all come up with...I used this amazing new release digi from Crafts and Me, shes called Cali Girl and I coloured her with distress inks...the fantastic papers are one of my latest buys from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, they are from the My Mind's Eye Miss Caroline - Howdy Doody 6x6 Pad, how lush are they...the ribbon is of course from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and is Sheer Elegance 25mm - Pink, isn't it so soft and beautiful, I also used some Leaf Trim - Olive Green but cut the leaves out and used them with some beautiful roses to finish the sketch is from The Sweet Stop and I'm also entering it for the Simon Says Stamp challenge and Cardmadfairys digi challenge...I'm off out to Town on my own today as I didn't get a chance to do the shopping I needed yesterday and you never know might even get a bit of crafting done this afternoon too...whatever your up to today I hope it goes to plan and if you have time pop on over to The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge blog to have a lot at the lush work from the rest of the team

distressing...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all safe and warm after the terrible weather the last few days, we still don't have any of it yet...did you all have a fantastic weekend?...we had a lovely Sunday lunch yesterday and it was brilliant catching up with my lovely Dad, he said he hadn't realised his eyes were so bad until after the tests he had and he was amazed he had driven so long, which is not a good thing to tell his constant driving companion is it lol...he is so looking forward to getting them fixed and my lovely Phil and our wonderful Daughter will all muster through for him until he can drive again and he is going to spend half his time at my Sisters too as she drives...I have never felt so frustrated in my life that I'm not able to drive and be his chauffeur like he has to me for many years, I so wish I could but will just have to make it up to him in other ways...right now onto my card for today, which is an unusual one for me, I don't usually do distressing as I find it really hard to get right but had a go at it with this card...its for our new challenge at The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge and this month its a brilliant anything goes challenge, I cant wait to see what you come up with...I used one of February's new release digis at Crafts and Me called Forest Guardian for my card, what a stunning image isn't it, I coloured it with distress inks and even distressed the edges with Tattered rose...the amazing paper is a double sided one from the Baby 2 Bride collection called From This moment...isn't it just beautiful, I distressed the edges and cut out some of the roses for embellishments...I added some Clear Dew drops - 5g pack amazing value at 50p for 50 and a lush Silky Crush 38mm Ribbon - Champagne these are both from the Pretty Little Ribbon shop...I finished with a sentiment...I made the sketch up as I went along but I'm entering this for the Allsort's challenge, Secret Crafter Saturday challenge and Fab 'n' Funky challenge...I'm off out today as my Phil has a day off so you never know where we will end up, oh and of course Dad will come too...whatever your up to have a fantastic day and when you have time pop on over to The Pretty Little Ribbon shop challenge to see what the rest of the amazing team came up with

dont you love a freebie...

Good morning everyone I hope you have something fantastic planned for your weekend, we aren't destined to get to Ikea, my wonderful Dad didn't come home yesterday and is coming home this morning so we will have to go to the supermarket with him today as he will need provisions after being away for a week, I don't mind though as it will be fantastic to see him...we will maybe and I say again maybe Sunday but you never know do you, I wish it would hurry up as I keep changing my mind every time I go onto Ikea's website...I know, I know I should stop going on it but I keep getting dragged back, you all know what its like you cant help yourself can you lol...for everyone who asked if my Dad was ok, we had some bad news at the start of the week, he went to see an eye specialist and although we knew he probably had a cataract we didn't realise it was both eyes and how bad it was, the specialist has told us he will need both eyes operated on and he isn't allowed to drive until they are done and the first one will be up to 6 months before hes reaches the top of the waiting list, he is devastated bless him, hes disabled and cant just hop on and off buses, his wheels are his independence and we have been trying our best to reassure him it wont be too long and he will spend half his time at my Sisters in Belfast as I don't drive...well I cant drive as my eyesight in my right eye is too bad for a licence, I have no peripheral vision in it all either...at least he wont be stuck in the house full time being at my Sisters who can drive...right now onto my card for today and I used this cutie, which is a freebie from the amazing Saturated Canary's blog...oooohhhhhh don't you just love a freebie...I coloured her with distress inks and used just about every colour I could think of on this card...the lush colourful papers are from the Basicgrey Nook and Pantry 6x6 paper pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I finished with a lush May Arts Gingham Ruffle Ribbon YELLOW, from the Pretty Little Ribbon shop, a black ribbon and a sentiment from my sentiment box so no idea what make it is sorry...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning sketches and I'm also entering it for the DYSU challenge and Truly Scrumptious challenge too...phew thanks for sticking with me through this long post and I promise I will pass all your lovely wishes onto my Dad when I see him today...whatever yonur doing have a good one

young love...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well and are having a great start to 2012, Phil has gone back to work and it seems so strange to be here alone again but at least I will get loads of work done today, well that's the plan anyway...we had a fantastic family lunch yesterday and my lovely Dad seems to have his appetite back and even asked for a second Yorkshire pudding, fingers crossed he is well and truly on the mend, you probably heard the sigh of relief from where you are lol...because my Dad wasn't with us for Christmas we had a extra special lunch and even had Christmas crackers, and he chuckled at each and every terrible bad joke in them too...I missed his laugh as we haven't heard it much when he wasn't well, we are going shopping together tomorrow so he can spend some of his gift cards he got for Christmas, I don't like shopping for clothes with my Dad, he doesn't really need anything and the men who complain women are picky shoppers should spend the day with my Dad, I will give you an example when we were shopping for a new TV for him, it took him 12 weeks and I mean looking at them at least twice a week too...couldn't make his mind up if I paid him lol...anyway onto my post for today, its for our new challenge at The Pretty Little Ribbon shop challenge...

the choice of theme this time is from our fab teamie Peet and she chose Be My Valentine, as soon as I started to think about this DT project I knew I had to use this amazing Ragged Romeo from Mo's Digital Pencil, stunning isn't it and look at that little girls face, perfection, I coloured them with distress inks and used them as a tag for a box...the stunning ribbons are from The Pretty Little Ribbon shop and are Antique Gold Sheer Ruffle Edge 16mm (just peeping behind the white) and White Silky Crush wired ribbon, I finished with loads of Prima roses and a mixture of velvet and satin leaves from my stash...wait until you see what the rest of our wonderful came up with, wow...I'm entering this for the Simon Says Stamp anything goes challenge, the Joanna Sheen Celebration challenge (mines Valentines) and the Dutch Dare Card challenge too...I'm having a crafting catching up day today and I'm not coming out of my craft room until I have caught up...have a wonderful day everyone and when you have time pop on over to The Pretty Little Ribbon shop challenge and join in

more of the red stuff...

Good morning everyone...we didn't go out yesterday as it was freezing cold, frosty and my poor little Phil is not well bless him...although it wont be bless him if I catch it lol...instead we sat in muffled up, heating on full, eating comfort food (sticky toffee pudding and cream yum yum) while Phil's pile of tissues grew higher, I draw the line at throwing them away for him...yucky...oh I forgot to tell you what happened on Saturday while we were walking through town I kept getting a glimpse of something wispy and floaty and they kept catching the light but I ignored it because I thought my eyes were acting up, while we were having lunch I mentioned it to Phil and after lunch he said come here while I show you this...the wispy things were cobwebs and shop windows and walls were covered in teeny tiny little spiders or as Phil called them spiderlings (I think he made that up or hes an extra in Harry Potter lol) because the sun was so bright and warm all the teeny spiders from the trees had hatched and the weight of them brings the webs down so they can spread out, I kept getting bits in my face and hair too....uuuuurrrrgggghhhhh ...if I find out hes winding me up I'm going to slap him lol...anyway onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge and this month the challenge is our lovely Jane's choice to use buttons and bows, I used this stunning Kenny K image called Super Mom and yes I used the paper piecing card for the red again, I'm so glad I thought to do that although I did manage the red lippy...the lush papers are from Craft Creations and are an amazing 35p for 12x12 sheets, I bought these from the Kings Hall craft fair...I finished with some lush white seam binding, red satin 15mm ribbon and a few buttons from the brights button pack they are all from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, the sentiment I made up and printed from my computer...the lush sketch is from the Fetch A Sketch challenge and I'm also entering it into the Kenny K Krafty Girlz challenge and the Simon Says Stamp challenge too...I cant wait to see what you come up with this month as all your entries were amazing last month, when you have time don't forget to pop on over to the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop challenge...well Im off out with my lovely Dad today for a little mooch, whatever your up to today watch out for the spiderlings lol
