still bbbbbbrrrrrrrrrr...

Good morning everyone...how are you all, are you up to anything exciting this weekend?...bbbbbrrrrrrr its freezing cold here and makes you want to hibernate until the sun decides to come out in full force...I have had a very quiet few days just resting up and trying my best to find a bit of mojo, I managed to find a little bit but its still being elusive atm...do you all have problems with your mojo now and again and if you do how do you get over it...I don't know if I have just got out of the habit of creating over Christmas or if its being ill for a while but hopefully its just around the corner peeking at me from a distance lol...my card for today is using one of the new CandiBean stamps...shes a real cutie isn't she?...shes called Penny's Winter Walkies I coloured her with my usual distress inks and teamed her up with some lush papers from the Kaisercraft - Marigold 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad (isn't that metallic embossed paper just fabulous)...I added a bow made from Organza Ribbon - White (25mm Wide), a tag from the same pad, some white roses from the Mini Spray White (3 Stems) and glittered everything up with a good healthy layer of Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust well you cant beat some glitter can you...everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...oh btw have you seen we are running a new Guest DT call at the Bunnyzoe's blog so pop on over and read what you need to do to try out for it...the fab sketch I used is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge too...I haven't a clue what we are up to today but I do need to stop by the craft shop (ssssssshhhhhh don't tell Phil I will just spring it on him lol)...we will probably be having coffee with my lovely Dad too I'm sure but will just have to see what the day brings...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope you manage to stay warmer than we are

Tis the season...

Good morning everyone Happy Christmas eve, I hope your all sorted and are going to spend this evening watching some rubbish tv with a large glass of wine, relaxing and feeling smug and warm all over for having finished your epic Christmas organisation...I definitely think whoever decided that Christmas should be classified as a 'holiday' wasn't a Wife or Mother or anyone who had to shop, organise and stress about everything to do with Christmas were they lol...we did out shop last night and Phil was totally gobsmacked at the price of an average sized fresh Norfolk Black turkey...an amazing £80...he spend the rest of the night randomly muttering '£80 for a turkey...that's crazy' and shaking his head bless him lol...needless to say we didn't buy it...I would rather have no turkey at all than spend that much on something to eat...right now onto my card for today which is using this stunning Simply Adorable beauty from Sugar Nellie...isn't she beautiful and like all the Adorable's shes a dream to colour...this one is called Ballet Student...I used my usual distress inks and yes your eyes don't deceive you there not a drop of glitter in sight lol...the fabulous papers are from the Glitz 6x6-Joyeux Noel paper pad I bought last year from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I couldn't resist this lush ribbon from a local shop it makes a fabulous bow doesn't it...I finished with a sentiment and a heart charm from my stash...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches but I'm too late to enter it...but am entering it for the Totally Gorjuss challenge and The Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge too...I'm cleaning the house today, its strange the rituals we go through isn't it but I wont settle until the house is spic and span for the holidays...oh and I have presents to wrap too...whatever you do today take some time to relax and chill for a bit you will need it...I have a card for tomorrow to wish you all merry Christmas so will speak to you all then

ok enough already...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and having a fantastic weekend...sorry I haven't been around for a few days but you will understand when I explain...firstly my Daughters gorgeous fluffy sumo cat had to go back into the vets hospital and I'm heartbroken to tell you all she didn't make it out this time...they found a mass on her scans and her liver stopped working properly so with a lot of soul searching my Daughter decided to agree with the vet that she shouldn't be allowed to just waste away...we will miss her so much, although she was my Daughters cat officially it was us she lived with while she was away at Uni and we cat sat her every time they went away...there were a lot of tears I can tell you...then the next day I fell down the stairs, managed to grasp onto the rail and wretched my hip and knee so am walking around with the help of a stick atm...but there is semi good news the surgeon I went to see last week said I will only need one operation instead of the three he thought it would be...it comes to something when having an operation is your only bit of good news isn't it lol...oh well onwards and upwards but please the powers that be that's enough already...pretty please lol...right my card for today and I have to say its not my best colouring on today's card but my hip was sore sitting on my office chair while I was colouring...that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol...these little bits of gorgeousness are of course from Mo's digital Pencil, who else could draw these eh...this is called Jumping and I coloured it with distress inks...the lush paper pad I used (the sentiment tag is from the same pad) is the Kaisercraft - Bundle of Joy 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad I bought at Bunny Zoe's Crafts...although this is a baby paper pad I think the papers and colours go with anything and even the baby sentiment works for these two cuties don't you think...I finished with a few punched butterflies and a scattering of buttons...the fab sketch is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the Brown Sugar Challenge and Sister Act Challenge too...what you up to today? anything exciting?...I have so so much crafting to catch up with so really must make a start today so I'm off to my craft room if you don't hear anything in 24 hours sent parcels of cake and painkillers lol...whatever your doing have a great day and I will be back tomorrow for our new Bunny Zoe's monthly challenge oh and did you enter this months candy if not its just below this post...have a good one

Life is sweet...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and your weekend is going great...well Brad Pitt and Johnny Depp showed up on time but I decided to go for coffee with my lovely Phil and Dad instead lol...who can blame me...it was a beautifully sunny 22degrees yesterday and while we were having a wander around a shop something fluorescent pink caught my eye...it was a woman about fifty something with a skin tight and I mean super skin tight Lycra fluorescent pink dress on, super short wandering around totally oblivious to every ones stares and snigger's...seriously woman this is not Ibiza and your not 16 buy yourself a cardigan and cover it up we don't all want to see it...you should have seen Phil and my Dad's open mouthed expressions as she walked past, I couldn't help giggling at them...I totally go with that you should wear what your comfortable in and never mind was anyone else says but really I don't want to be put off the piece of cake I was going to have with my coffee do I lol...Its very hard sometimes when your over 50 to decide what to wear, you don't want to be frumpy and don't want to look like mutton done up as lamb but I can with my hand on my heart say I have never felt the urge to wear a dress like that...honestly...right now onto my card for today, how stunningly adorable is this Mo's Digital Pencil sweetie...she is called Look, Ma! (Girl) and is one of her line drawing digis...I love this range don't you, they are so realistic and have a super soft look to them...I coloured her with my distress inks and matched her with these equally as stunning papers from the Kaisercraft - Needle & Thread 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad...I love the beautiful colours in this, its from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...aren't they very similar to the colours in yesterdays papers even though they are a totally different pad...I cut some of the flowers from more sheets for decoration and the sentiment is a rub on, I won a voucher for Our Mum's Craft Shop a little while ago and bought the Kaisercraft Enchanted Garden Rub Ons with part of it and thought this saying was perfect for this image...I finished with some buttons from the new bags I bought from a local shop...this button thing is rapidly becoming an addiction lol...the fab sketch is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge and the Card Makin Mamas Challenge too...I think it will be a sitting in the garden relaxing kinda day today if the weather stays the same that is...whatever your up to today I hope wherever you are its a sunny one for you too...speak to you all tomorrow

Good morning everyone did you have a brilliant weekend and didn't get drenched I hope....we went to Town with my lovely Dad uesterday and just as we were leaving a coffee shop there was a massive storm that came from blue skies and as my gorgeous Phil would say 'it plumped from the heavens' lol...I had a very light blue top on that has a bit of back on show and it was freezing cold on my back and made me yelp...well we dashed back to the car, well as fast as you can dash with a man who walks with two crutches and headed home, by the time we dropped my Dad off and got inside the house drenched to the skin the skies were clear blue and the sun was shining again...so weird...right now onto my card for today is using this amazing Kisses digi stamp from, yes you guessed it Mo's Digital Pencil...it has to be doesn't it...look at that adorable face and her cute little knees...I coloured her with my distress inks and used some amazing papers I found while having a bit of a rummage...these are from the Echo Park 6x6 paper pad - This and That...aren't these just the lushest colours and perfect for this little sweetie...I bought this Echo Park Pad ages ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts but it isn't in stock anymore but there's loads of others...I finished with an incredible Prima metal flowers with a button attached to the centre and some sparkly letters sentiment...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches and I'm also entering this for the Joanna Sheen Challenge and One Stitch at a Time Challenge too...I have some crafting to catch up on today while my Dad is at the garage getting his tyres changed and then will be trying to rescue the flowers that have been battered by the storms...whatever your up to today I hope you manage to stay dry

Good morning everyone did you all have a fab weekend...what did you get up too? anything exciting...we didn't go on our picnic as I decided I would rearrange the garden furniture and of course after that's done you have to put the plants in the right place...I must admit it does look good now even if I do say so myself...I was sitting on the swing seat taking a breather and looking around...you can tell I make cards as all the colours are co-ordinating and in sections...a little OCD in fact...I will take some more photos of the change and show you all on Wednesday as I have another card to show you tomorrow...yes I know all these cards are unexpected aren't they...I think my mojo has been kick started by the garden...thank goodness as I was beginning to think it wasn't going to come back...right now onto my card for today which is using this fantastic Skateboard Schoolboy from Mo's Digital Pencil...perfect for all those boy/teenager cards, he has that teenage stoop attitude doesn't he lol...Mo always has the knack of drawing images we really need doesn't she...a sign of a true artist. I coloured him with my usual distress inks and even used some of the dreaded red (it gets everywhere and I end up looking like I have poured it over my hands when I'm finished lol)...the fabulous papers are from the Bazzill Basics 6x6" Multipack - Freedom...I love this pad for men/boy cards its a great colour combo for them...I finished with a rub on sentiment from my stash and a few buttons...the pad and buttons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is another from Tuesday Morning Challenge but I'm too late to enter it I think, but I'm also entering it for the Digi Haven Challenge and the Creative Corner Challenge too...we are heading out again today, well you don't waste days off work do you lol...haven't a clue where yet but I'm planning a sneaky trip to Ikea if I can convince Phil its essential (I hear you all saying good luck with that Mina lol) Im not holding out much hope of going really as its Phil s last day off before going back he might just fancy a chilling kinda day instead...whatever your up to today I hope your out and about and having a brilliant one

forever blowing bubbles...

Good morning everyone did you all enjoy the hop yesterday and I hope you didn't forget to leave your comments along the way for a chance to win some prizes...it was really hazy and foggy here yesterday still dry and hot though but we didn't get the hottest day of the year that was promised...so we are still looking forward to that...we had to head to some garden centres yesterday because we had a minor garden crisis...something was eating the leaves of all our gorgeous new plants and leaving them like lace and on close inspection they are infested with tiny caterpillar type larvae and aphids so although I'm against using chemicals I don't like the idea of killing the good guys too but we had to get something to stop them in their tracks before the sweet pea were devastated to death didn't we...I managed to find an organic spray so Phil sprayed everything yesterday evening and we will see what happens...keeping my fingers and toes all crossed....oh btw I took some photos of the decking now its all flowery and colourful and will post them next week for you to see if your interested that is of course lol...but good thing is B&Q was our first try for a spray and we spotted a bargain two seater seat swing and couldn't resist buying it for the garden...well who can resist a bargain for the garden eh but I was cursing it after two hours of putting it together lol...right now onto my card for today and yes I actually managed to make one lol...how cute is this little darling...shes from the incredibly cheap C.C. Designs Sweet November Mermaids set, I think this set is a bargain for three stamps...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and used some Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust to glitter her tail and top...the papers and sentiment are from the Kaisercraft - Miss Empire 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad...aren't those colours so lush....I finished with a few scattered pearls from the Mixed Bag of 3mm Flat backed Pearls, a bow made from Organza Ribbon - Orange (25mm Wide) and a single jade coloured rose...everything except the rose is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches and I'm also entering it for the Inspire Me Friday Challenge and the Creative Corner Challenge too...Phil's off work tomorrow so he's had a long weekend this weekend its a Bank holiday here, he's getting a bit bored to be honest and I think we need to head out today so I was thinking maybe a picnic or something similar, what do you take on a picnic?, we love to take little tapas type things and a few sandwiches and of course dessert...whatever your up to today I hope you get out and about and have some fun too

a bit of steampunk...

Good morning everyone your comments about your cinema experience yesterday gave me a real chuckle and I thought the feet incident was bad lol...I had a really quiet day yesterday and caught up with a few things and only one temperature so not a bad at all...and then...wall to wall sunshine in the afternoon so we sat on the decking in amongst all the beautiful flowers that are finally blooming and chatted...I love afternoons when Phil gets finished early and we can have some chat time before dinner...I think I still haven't got over the novelty of having Phil home even though its a year now...can you believe how fast the last year has flown by...its like blink and its gone...right for my card today I have an amazing artist digi...the artist is called Mitzi Sato-Wiuff and she is super super talented...I have admired her work on facebook for a while but only just found her Aurorawings shop on Etsy...this is just one of her amazing digis (of course I bought a few more lol)...this is the beautiful Steampunk Angel and Owl 2-Pack coloured with my distress inks, I cut the owl out and raised it a little...she is a dream to colour, I just knew she would be and I cant wait to colour the others I bought and I will have to get some more definitely...I used some lush papers from the Graphic45 Old Curiosity Shoppe 8x8 paper pad I bought ages and ages ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and cut out some butterflies from the same pad...oh I have a hint for you too today...the fab letters are from an old set of stickers and I had no a's left so I cut around the negative and used that instead...it worked ok don't you think and made the sentiment a bit more interesting...I finished with a cog charm...I'm not sure I got the steampunk theme right what do you think?, I always have problems adding more stuff than I think a card needs and all the steampunk cards I see have loads of stuff on them...must try harder Mina lol...the fab sketch is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Cardmakers Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge too...I'm sorting some clothes out for our holiday today and wont have another post until Saturday with a little bit of Bunny Zoe's Crafts holiday candy for you...I will be posting a few cards next week while I'm away...I will schedule them but will hopefully add some gossip while I'm away...fingers crossed for the WiFi in the hotel...whatever your up to today have a brilliant relaxing one

A happy girl...

Good morning everyone I hope your having a fabulous week and that your weather is better than ours...it tiddled down most of the day yesterday...I think weather is fascinating don't you...how freaky is it that one day it can be 20c and bright sunshine, everything blooming and bright and the next 11c raining and like winter...freaky and fascinating, I could get into research about weather I reckon but do I have the time I ask myself and the answer...nope lol...my stomach is much better today although most of yesterday was spent recovering and lying around again but at least I had a hot dinner last night cooked by the lovely Phil, thank goodness I married someone like him, I never worried if anything was wrong or I didn't feel like cooking or anything, Phil is more than capable (ssshhhhh don't tell him but hes better than me at most cooking lol) lets not give him a big head though ok...right now onto my card for today...this is a Inky Impressions digi called Angelica Crafting isn't she a cutie, perfect for a Mothers Day crafter card, I coloured her with my usual distress inks...the papers are from the Echo Park - Sweet Girl 6x6 Paper Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, fantastic bright cheerful colours aren't they...the sentiment is from the same pad and I finished with some buttons in colours to match the papers and a lush green satin bow...the sketch is from Tuesday morning sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the The Ribbon Girl blog challenge and the Inky Impressions Challenge too...its supermarket day today with my gorgeous Dad...I might have to miss coffee though because of my wobbly tum...although I don't want to miss it, I love my put the world to rights chats with my Dad...I could listen to him all day and he has such a wicked sense of humour too...everyone is coming for dinner tonight too, I'm hating the thought of cooking though and I'm making burgers and meat is making me feel a bit icky lately, do you ever get like that sometimes, when the thought of some foods makes your stomach lurch, I think I will get myself some fish or something to replace the burger...but I still have to cook them ick...whatever your up to today watch out for the stomach lurgy its lurking out there somewhere lol

am I dreaming...

Good morning everyone...is it a bird, is it a plane...no I do believe its the sun...we had wall to wall sun shine yesterday and the temperature actually sneaked into double figures (only just mind lol)...I spend a lovely afternoon meant to be crafting but actually sitting in my office chair soaking up the sun shining through the window dreaming of summer days and the smell of flowers...isn't it strange how obsessed we British are with the weather...do you think its because our weather is so changeable or maybe its just we like to have something to moan about lol...anyway I did manage a little bit of a play yesterday and managed some colouring too...with that and the sun I really enjoyed my crafting afternoon...right now for the card I did make yesterday...how stunning is this Funky Kits Digi...I love these Sugar Nellie Simply Adorable's don't you and never get tired of colouring them...this is the beautiful Melissa, I think she has a real ethereal feel to her (oooohhhh big word for this early isnt it lol)...shes so beautifully soft isn't she...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and used some papers from the stunning Prima Tea Thyme paper pad I got ages ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the softness of the colours really suit her don't you think...I finished with a pink seam binding bow and a large pink flower...the lush sketch is from the Tuesday morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the brand new A Little Bit Crafty Challenge and the Party Time Tuesday Challenge too...I think I might either head into town today or spend another 'crafting' day today...I will hopefully actually get a lot more crafting done today though...are craft rooms the best place to craft do you think, isn't there a lot of distractions crammed into one place and way to much to play with lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope you manage to get some sun on you wherever you are

a touch too much...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well and fully recovered from the holidays, have you started creating yet, I think I'm just starting to get back into the swing of things...but my colouring is just a tad off...it doesn't help when you decide on a crafting session and the bulb goes in your craft room, could I heck find another one and it was so dark yesterday...hence the just a tad too much antique linen on this poor cuties face...she looks a little jaundiced I think poor little thing lol...but I'm off to the shops today so a pack of light bulbs will be my first priority so normal colours should be resumed as soon as possible...poor Phil came home early from work yesterday as he wasn't feeling too well...which is a bit worrying as he is normally as healthy as a horse and doesn't ever catch anything...from what he was telling me it sounded like a migraine he had but I'm hoping its nothing else as hes doesn't do sick and makes a real fuss on the rare occasions he isn't feeling good lol...hes off to work today so hopefully hes feeling better but he did sleep an awful lot last night and theres loads of man flu going around too...keep your fingers crossed for him...oh and me of course lol...right now onto my poor little jaundiced sweetie for today...she is the gorgeous Whimsy Amy from Whimsy Stamps...isn't she cute, I coloured her with my usual distress inks and teamed her up with these lush coloured papers from the My Mind's Eye - Honey Cake 6x6 Pad...fab aren't they and perfect for her too...I finished with a stamped sentiment from the Morehead Acrylic Stamp Set - Blossom set, a few pearls and a stunning metal flower from Prima which I bought ages ago...everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Creations challenge and the Divas by Design challenge too...I'm off out with my lovey Dad today everything is back to normal so its supermarket day...whatever your up to today I hope its more exciting than mine lol

can you believe it...

Good morning everyone are you all well and busy this weekend...anything nice planned?...the heavens opened here yesterday so Dad decided to stay in Belfast for a while longer, plus my poor Sister was rear ended the other day when she was out shopping (her car not her of course) and I think she needs a bit of help with running around as her car will need fixed...good thing is no one was hurt just a few bumps and bruises, it could have been a lot worse, and the man who hit her admitted fault so it will all go through insurance...thank goodness...so I spent the day online shopping and crafting and doing a bit of tidying then when Phil got home from work we had to head to the supermarket then, I'm sure its not something you look forward too when your just in from work but it cant be helped, well he could always stop eating I suppose (yeah right lol)...we are meant to be heading for a car boot sale this morning but it depend if this rain ever stops as its tipping down and a bit miserable for walking round a boot sale, so fingers crossed...right now onto my card for today and yes your eyes don't deceive you its not a Christmas card, can you believe it...instead I used this little cutie stamp from Sugar Nellie, shes called Artist Betty, isn't she cute and perfect for a card for any little budding artist in your family...I coloured this cutie with my usual distress inks and paper pieced her little beret...the stunning papers are from the My Mind's Eye - A Happy Heart 6x6 Pad, lush colours aren't they, I bought this pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished my card with some buttons, a distressed knotted ribbon and a distress flower...the fab sketch is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the Bearly Mine Challenge (new thing is the stamp) and the Inky Impressions challenge (my old thing is the pad which I bought about 6 months ago)...right that's me for today I'm off to get the war paint on and make a final decision as to what to wear for Phil Christmas dinner tonight...wish me luck I need it lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

Lilac angels rule...

Good morning everyone do you have anything exciting planned for today?...we had loads of plans, we were heading to Belfast, shopping, lunch, a visit to Ikea a look at the Christmas light and a visit with my Sister but it all went out the window because Phil got called into work and it looks like he will be there most of the day...oh well plans are meant to be broken aren't they and I don't get annoyed about things that cant be helped...life's too short...we had a lovely night at the light switch on last night but boy oh boy was it cold, I thought at one stage that my nose had dropped off and I'm sure I heard the thud when it hit the pavement lol...the children in the procession to the tree were wonderful, each dressed in such beautiful colourful sparkly costumes...and Santa of course but instead of reindeer he had two massive shire horses...it was lovely to watch and really magical, but would you believe I forgot my camera, gutted... right now onto my card for today...doesn't this little darling in lilac and blue just rule...shes adorable...she is of course a Saturated Canary image and I coloured her with distress inks and of course followed the crafting rule that wings have to be glittered...well how could I resist...shes called Christmas Angel and doesn't she go perfectly with these lush papers from the Echo Park - Winter Wishes pad although this fab pad is a Christmas one I think the colours are so pretty they would work brilliantly any time of the year and I love pads you can use anytime and not just for an occasion don't you, this pad is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...we paper crafters have to be a bit thrifty don't we...I finished my card with some lush lilac ribbon from my stash and a sentiment cut from the same pad...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the Digital Tuesday Challenge and the Charisma Cardz challenge too...so now all our plans for today are out the window I haven't a clue what I'm up to today...it might just be a quiet sorting Christmas decorations day ready for tonight's great 'great putting up trees challenge' night tonight...if I get a chance to take any I will post some photos of our trees tomorrow...if not it will be next week...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope all your plans go right
