jog on...

Good morning everyone have you got anything exciting planned for this weekend?...thank you all so much for your thoughts on the shoes yesterday they are a great help but I will try them all on and go with your advice of buying the most comfortable I think but it will have to be tomorrow instead of today as my lovely Phil has to work this morning and maybe some of the afternoon too so we had to postpone our shopping trip...I bet he volunteered to work bless him lol...I forgot to tell you all about a little thing that happened around the pool on holiday, I was lying there ipod plugged in my ears reading Fifty Shades and enjoying the peace when a woman chuckling next to me caught my eye she was looking over my shoulder...I turned around and took my ipod out and Phil was sitting in the shade his ipod in his ears reading Jeremy Clarkson and laughing so hearty that everyone was looking at him and smiling...I caught his eye and he shrugged and said 'its funny!', well need he say more lol...it was so nice to hear him laughing that loud it warmed my heart...and made everyone around us smile too...anyway onto my card for today which is using a long forgotten digi from Mayzy Art, I cant remember what shes called and Mayzy's shop isn't open atm so I cant find out either, its a great image too and my kind of jogger earrings and make up lol...anyway I coloured her with distress inks and used more of my scrap papers, this time they are Magnolia paper scraps and are from the Summer Memories range, the flowered is called Forget Me Not and the check I think is Blue Kitchen Cloth...I finished with a blue gingham bow, some buttons and a rub on tag mounted on more of the checked paper...the sketch is from Sketch Saturday but its last weeks so I cant enter but I am entering it into the Papertake Weekly challenge and the Use It Tuesday challenge too...I'm going to have a little mooch round Town and go for lunch while I wait for Phil to finish work today I think, well if I cant shoe shop I can at least eat lol...whatever your up to I hope your have a fabulous day

a guilty sorta day...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well and enjoying all the kids getting back to school...more crafting time for all you Mums with schoolkids, I used to love it when our Daughter was on school holidays because she was an only child we spent the whole summer on days out, sitting watching movies together playing in the garden, I felt like it was one long summer holiday for me too...I was always the most tearful one when she had to go back after her break...I had a really quiet day yesterday, a little bit of crafting, cooked dinner ready for later and then out with my lovely Dad to the chiropodist and then for a coffee, no work done on the house at all now why do I always feel so guilty for those sort of days...there is loads and loads and loads to do, not to mention holiday clothes to get ready so maybe that's why and omg my Nieces 100 table menus for her wedding aaaarrrrggggghhhhhhh panic...oh well I can catch up with some of it today I'm sure, well that's the plan anyway lol...right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts & Me Challenges, I'm the host this time and I chose the theme of Add a Flower, so whatever you fancy as long as its got at least one flower on it...I used the amazing Sharla by Hannah Lynn for my card, I don't think shes released yet as shes brand new but it wont be long...I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with these lush papers from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Tea-Thyme I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fantastic ribbon I used is wired and I found it all scrunched up in the bottom of a box, I love finding forgotten surprises like that don't you...I finished with a lush Prima flower and a sentiment zipper pull...I'm entering this for the Use It Tuesday Challenge, Crafty Catz Weekly challenge and the Papertake Weekly challenge too...I'm locking all the doors and windows and not even venturing outside until I have at least 3 jobs ticked off my huge list today...whatever your up to don't feel guilty about it and when you have the time pop on over to the Crafts & Me challenge blog to see the amazing creations of the rest of our fab digi team

a sweetie wee stamp...

Good morning everyone I hope your all safe and warm and getting there for the big day firstly huge apologies for not getting round to commenting but I have all my DT work done and all my crafting stuff ready, including something special to show you on Christmas eve, so I'm having a commenting night tonight and tomorrow night to wish you all the best for Christmas I miss my hopping when I cant get around to it, oh and I'm sorry for the shocking state of these photos it was almost dark by the time I remembered I hadn't taken them...well I spent hours looking for Christmas gifts for Phil yesterday and what did I get...exactly nothing a big fat zero, well not nothing I did buy him a CD I know he wanted...I have a few ideas though but they will take a bit more research, you all had some fantastic ideas but I bought him the biggest set of Laurel and Hardy DVDs years ago, mind he is no help at all, every time I ask him for suggestions he says I don't need anything, I have tried telling him its not what he needs I want to buy him lol...we had a nice night last night my lovely Dad came for dinner and we made toad in the hole and it was scrummy then he stayed for hours just talking and watching cookery programmes with Phil...fabulous night even though I was bored with the cookery shows lol...for those of you who don't know what toad in the hole is here's a link that will help, have a try it is so yummy...right my badly photographed card for today is using one of these gorgeous little Wee Stamps, this is a digi and is called Winter Fairy, I coloured her with distress inks and used glitter glue, well of course I did she has wings lol...the papers are just scraps so I'm not sure who they are by but have a feeling they might be Graphic45...now I made a bit of a hash of the holly, it was a bright green and is felt but I wanted it more muted so I coloured it with a copic but it just turned a really bad muddy green...I finished with some punched snowflakes...the lush sketch is from Sketch N Stash challenge and my stash is the paper, I'm also entering it into the Top Tip Tuesday challenge and Use it Tuesday challenge too...we are making a start on the dreaded food shopping today, oh no I hear you cry, I know I hate it too but I don't think my family will appreciate a tin of soup for Christmas lunch do you lol...whatever your up to today have a great one
