cheers...

Good morning everyone how was your weekend? anything exciting?...we had a lovely sunday lunch surrounded by family and all ate way way too much of course...well if you cant do that at family meals when can you lol...I love watching my lovely Dad nodding off in front of a roaring fire after his lunch, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling if you know what I mean...I appreciate every single moment I spend with him, hes such a giggle and has a wicked sense of humour...our beautiful Daughter has a new black kitten and he is such an adorably cute affectionate sweetie, everyone has fallen head over heels for him and he fell asleep on my Dads knee but it must have been a little slippy as he fell off and of course did what cats do when they fall grabbed on for grim life with his claws, that certainly roused my poor Dad but bless him he just caught him and smiled...I love that man with all my heart but it did make me giggle a bit lol...right now my card for today, its for our new challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly challenge, this month our lovely Sara chose the theme of Stitching...now I dont really do stitching but I managed a bit of faux stitching with a black pen and that's about all the stitching I would manage, of course everything I used for my card today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...this fabulous little Edwin is from the brand new Little Circus Moscow Magnolia release and is called Edwin Nutcracker Soldier I coloured Edwin with my usual distress inks and glittered him a little with some Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust, I paper pieced his outfit with the same lush papers I used for my card and the sentiment tag are also from the Kaisercraft - Marigold 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad too...I added a ruffled bow made with Gingham Wired Edge Gold Thread Ribbon - Blue and finished with a bit of Sew Easy Floss Assortment - Green strung across the bottom and a couple of buttons from the Primary - 25g button bag, the fab sketch is from The House That Stamps built Challenge and Im also entering it for the Rogue Redhead Designs Challenge and the Just Us Girls Challenge too...I need to get a bit of crafting done today and my craft room and its in desperate need of a tidy...hhhhmmmmm I wonder which one I will choose to do (yeah right lol)...whatever your up to today I hope you manage to get a bit of crafting done too...have a great one

so very loved...

Good morning everyone hows your weekend going? did you have a good day yesterday, I hope you did...the ice was terrible here yesterday and I went onto the deck and nearly ended up on my tooshie a couple of times lol...we went out with my Dad for a coffee and a few shops to get today's lunch and would you believe I forgot all about going to the craft shop...I know shock horror eh, I'm sure that's breaking one of the crafter's commandments lol...I got a bit distracted in the Poundstore...I just cannot go into that shop and buy just one thing can you...£15 later and a couple of bags purchased the craft shop went completely out of my mind so dear me I will have to go during the week instead...my card for today is using this gorgeous little girlie cutie...I will give you three guesses who drew this beauty...yeah like you need three, shes from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Trudy's Party Dress, shes a stunning dressing up doll and comes with a dress for you to design in whatever paper you want...I cut the top of the dress and just used the skirt this time, but I think it works great doesn't it with her little undershirt glittered instead of the dress top...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and teamed her up with some amazing papers from the lush Kaisercraft - Curiosity 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad, I bought this from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I love Kaisercraft pads don't you not only are the designs beautiful and perfect for cutting out but there is four pages of paper sentiment tags, embellishments and ribbons to use on your cards or pages too...the so very loved sentiment, rose button and skirt are all from the pad too...all I added to my card was three cute buttons from my stash...the lush sketch is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Creative Moments Challenge and Digi Galore Challenge too...we are having the whole family over for lunch today so would need to get sorting veg and things out I think...I hope the roads aren't too slippy today as I worry about them all driving in this weather but then I guess its a Mums job to worry isn't it...whatever your up to today have a warm snug one

Good morning everyone...how are you all, are you up to anything exciting this weekend?...bbbbbrrrrrrr its freezing cold here and makes you want to hibernate until the sun decides to come out in full force...I have had a very quiet few days just resting up and trying my best to find a bit of mojo, I managed to find a little bit but its still being elusive atm...do you all have problems with your mojo now and again and if you do how do you get over it...I don't know if I have just got out of the habit of creating over Christmas or if its being ill for a while but hopefully its just around the corner peeking at me from a distance lol...my card for today is using one of the new CandiBean stamps...shes a real cutie isn't she?...shes called Penny's Winter Walkies I coloured her with my usual distress inks and teamed her up with some lush papers from the Kaisercraft - Marigold 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad (isn't that metallic embossed paper just fabulous)...I added a bow made from Organza Ribbon - White (25mm Wide), a tag from the same pad, some white roses from the Mini Spray White (3 Stems) and glittered everything up with a good healthy layer of Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust well you cant beat some glitter can you...everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...oh btw have you seen we are running a new Guest DT call at the Bunnyzoe's blog so pop on over and read what you need to do to try out for it...the fab sketch I used is from the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Fussy and Fancy Friday Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Challenge too...I haven't a clue what we are up to today but I do need to stop by the craft shop (ssssssshhhhhh don't tell Phil I will just spring it on him lol)...we will probably be having coffee with my lovely Dad too I'm sure but will just have to see what the day brings...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope you manage to stay warmer than we are

could I get a better match...

Good morning everyone how are you all? well and happy I hope...the weather here is terrible so so windy and wet and miserable but never mind I managed a trip out with my lovely Dad yesterday just for an hour as I'm still not 100% but it was lovely to get out, I haven't been out for over a week so the fresh air did me the power of good...of course we had to have the 'put the world to rights coffee' too...I fancied a cup of Earl Grey but the cafe had no teabags...when I asked for one they said they had run out of them and were waiting for a delivery...am I being daft but because this cafe is in a supermarket couldn't they just get a box off the shelves duh lol ???...I settled for a coffee though that will teach me to be picky wont it...right now onto my card for today...how perfect is this fabulously cute Sugar Nellie stamp called Stitch paired with these amazing papers from the Kaisercraft - Needle & Thread 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, you would swear they were made to go together wouldn't you...when I got this stamp I knew I had the perfect paper pad for it...I used my usual distress inks and everything I used for the card is cut from the paper pad except for just a few (yeah right serious button overload lol) buttons from my stash...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the Card Makin Mamas Challenge, Craftyhands Challenge and Sister Act Challenge too...I'm having a day in bed again today, well maybe a bit of crafting will creep just don't tell Phil he will tell me off like he did Monday when I went out so ssssshhhhhhhhhh keep it to yourself lol...whatever your up to today have a warm, cosy one

my next on is using a gorgeous Magnolia stamp...shes the beautiful Winter Wonderland - Peaceful Tilda, I love everything about this card and the papers and image match brilliantly don't you think

this is the fabulous new Edwin With Derby hat from the Little London collection ...hes great isn't he and look so dapper in his festive suit and hat but could be brilliant for any occasion

this stunningly beautiful Princess from the C.C. Designs Sweet November Princesses stamp set...I know it sounds weird but I love colouring white...the shading is amazing to colour in

and my last Bunny is a beauty with hair that's a dream to colour...shes from the incredibly cheap C.C. Designs Sweet November Mermaids set, I think this set is a bargain for three stamps

Tis the season...

Good morning everyone Happy Christmas eve, I hope your all sorted and are going to spend this evening watching some rubbish tv with a large glass of wine, relaxing and feeling smug and warm all over for having finished your epic Christmas organisation...I definitely think whoever decided that Christmas should be classified as a 'holiday' wasn't a Wife or Mother or anyone who had to shop, organise and stress about everything to do with Christmas were they lol...we did out shop last night and Phil was totally gobsmacked at the price of an average sized fresh Norfolk Black turkey...an amazing £80...he spend the rest of the night randomly muttering '£80 for a turkey...that's crazy' and shaking his head bless him lol...needless to say we didn't buy it...I would rather have no turkey at all than spend that much on something to eat...right now onto my card for today which is using this stunning Simply Adorable beauty from Sugar Nellie...isn't she beautiful and like all the Adorable's shes a dream to colour...this one is called Ballet Student...I used my usual distress inks and yes your eyes don't deceive you there not a drop of glitter in sight lol...the fabulous papers are from the Glitz 6x6-Joyeux Noel paper pad I bought last year from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I couldn't resist this lush ribbon from a local shop it makes a fabulous bow doesn't it...I finished with a sentiment and a heart charm from my stash...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches but I'm too late to enter it...but am entering it for the Totally Gorjuss challenge and The Crafty Bloggers Network Challenge too...I'm cleaning the house today, its strange the rituals we go through isn't it but I wont settle until the house is spic and span for the holidays...oh and I have presents to wrap too...whatever you do today take some time to relax and chill for a bit you will need it...I have a card for tomorrow to wish you all merry Christmas so will speak to you all then

winter roses...

Good morning everyone, I hope you all had a fantastic weekend and managed to stay dry in all the snow, hail, rain and wind or was that just our weather lol...we seemed to do loads of running about yesterday but when we finally settled down to eat at 6pm if you had asked what we had done all day I wouldn't have had a clue...weird eh...I'm finally getting there I think as far as the shopping etc goes but tomorrow evening is...duh duh duh...the food shop aaaaaarrrrrrgggghhhh...I'm scared and if I was rich would definitely pay someone to do it for me...or of course one of you lovely crafter's could volunteer lol...ok I will have to sit down this morning and make my list out so at least I wont need to make more than one trip...wish me luck I will need it...right now onto my card for today...is it ok to use roses for a Christmas card do you reckon?...well its too late I have...the beautiful stamp is brand new and from Bildmalarna and is called Alva Frost, isn't she stunning...I coloured her with my distress inks (don't you love her pink hair) and of course I used more of the Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust to glitter her...the amazingly beautiful papers are from the Kaisercraft - Lady Rose 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad and I finished with a ruffled ribbon from my stash and a few scattered pearls from the Mixed Bag 3mm Flat backed Pearls and Mixed Bag 5mm Flat backed Pearls...everything except the green ribbon is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday challenge and I'm also entering it for the Inkspirational Challenge and Sister Act Card Challenge too...right I'm off to make my list, check it twice, sorry I couldn't resist lol...whatever your up to today I hope you have a brilliant warm one

Joy...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and having fun this weekend...what you up too anything special...we went to see our beautiful Daughters choir she is in this weekend, they were singing carols and Christmas songs and wow I was mighty impressed, they are amazing...she joined a couple of months back and has so enjoyed practice and she looked in her element singing her heart out...it brought back a lot of wonderful memories as she was in choirs all through her school days and I went every Christmas to see them sing...I must admit I shed a few tears too...I know I'm a soppy sod lol...we had to nip to the supermarket yesterday as we ran out of tea bags and omg I think they were giving food away the huge car park was full to the brim and people were loading the hugest trolleys to the brim...we grabbed the tea bags and ran lol...right now onto my card for today which thankfully didn't have any arguments with any liquid lol...this is the stunning Winter Fairy Manty from who else but Mo's Digital Pencil...you just know Mo drew this look at that face and chubby little legs...I coloured him with distress inks and glittered him with Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust well there's wings and ice isn't there so who needs more excuse than that to use glitter...the amazingly lush papers are from the My Mind's Eye - All is Bright 6x6 paper pad and the banner I cut from another piece of the pad...I bought this last Christmas from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the papers are so unusual aren't they and I love the way the sentiment is printed on it...I finished with a bow made from Organza Ribbon - White (25mm Wide), a button from my stash, another of my bargain frames and finished with a red rose from the Blossoms - Resin Flower Pansy...I made the sketch up around the paper design but I'm entering this for the 4 Crafty Girls Challenge, Crafty Calender Challenge and the A Creative Romance Challenge too...we are having a wrapping, baking and tv day today, well hopefully anyway that's the plan...whatever your up to today I hope you have some relaxing time in amongst all the mayhem

distress inks vs lady grey tea...

Good morning everyone how are you all...all finished then?...is your present wrapped and food bought...nope? me neither lol...well the curse of 2013 is still with us I'm afraid, my Niece was in Hospital and my Uncle then yesterday I found out my cousin had a heart attack and has to be transferred from our local hospital to a larger one for a pacemaker...they are all being sorted and on the mend hopefully and that's the three so no more hospital troubles...finger, toes, arms, legs and eyes crossed...I only have a few things left to buy and of course the big food shop...going around supermarkets at Christmas you could be forgiven for thinking they were going to be closed for a fortnight not just one day wouldn't you...its nuts how much food is bought and money spent on it at this time of year and looking around the shoppers there is always so many miserable faces, I sometimes thing if we spent less time and money worrying about food and gifts we might even remember the essence of Christmas and start to enjoy it...what do you think?...right now my card for today...can you see the smudging? that's what happens when your enjoying a cup of Lady grey whilst your gazing out of the window...just one little drip and its smudge city...I thought I had managed to save it until I saw these photos so will have to reink this cutie and this time no tea in sight while I'm colouring lol...so ignore the smudges and pretend its perfect...this little cutie is from the new CC Designs release...this is the gorgeous CC Designs Rascals Sking Henry coloured with my distress inks (and lady grey lol) and glittered with Stickles Glitter Glue - Star Dust...I teamed it up with some stunning papers from the beautiful Kaisercraft - Marigold 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad although its not a winter or Christmas pad I think the colours and patterns work great for this one don't you...I added a bow made from Gingham Wired Edge Gold Thread Ribbon - Blue, a stamped sentiment from the C.C. Designs Naughty Or Nice Sentiments (the tag is from the paper pad) and a few buttons from the Primary - 25g button pack...everything I used today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge, Brown Sugar Challenge and the Craftitude Challenge too...I'm off out to town today for a little mooch what you up to?...whatever it is I hope you have some festive fun

you ready to hop...

Good morning everyone I hope your all safe and well...boy are we having a storm and a half here its blowing so hard I expect my patio pots to come flying through my kitchen window at any second...its funny I don't usually mind bad weather (but of course being British I have a good old moan about it lol) and love to watch a good thunder and lightening storm but wind like this scares the wits out of me...fingers crossed it goes away soon...right are you all enjoying our Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteams monthly blog hop then?...you should have arrived her from the super talented
blog but if you didn't you just need to pop on over to the wonderful Anneke's blog to start at the beginning...and of course don't forget your comments along the way so you have a chance to win one of two $5 store credits for Mo's Digital Pencil...our theme this month is Seniors so we had to use one of Mo's amazing older people digi's, there so many to choose but I love Mummu so chose Mummu's Letters for my card...shes fabulous isn't she

I coloured her monochromatic with my distress inks and paper pieced her dress as I wanted to give her an old photo sepia kinda feel...what do you think? did it work...the beautiful papers are from the Basicgrey Little Black Dress 6x6 paper pad I bought years ago from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab little sentiment is from another Mo's Digital Pencil digi called Serious Sharon...I finished my card with a lush sepia coloured organza ribbon bow, a flower and a plaster keyhole (from a bargain 99p Melissa Francis set I bought)...the next stop on our hop is the fabulously talented
JAK
I made the sketch up as I went along but am entering this for the BasicGrey Challenge, Divas By Design Challenge and Crafty Creations Challenge too...I'm off out with my Dad today and will cling on to him just in case one of us blows away lol...whatever your up to today have a great one and don't forget your comments for a chance to win
