clinging on by my fingernails...just...

Good morning everyone well its actually evening here because my internet connection is off and on so I'm posting this now just in case I cant get back online...thank you all so much for the good wishes for my Dad but hes tons better today thank goodness I was getting worried as things like that have a habit of spiralling in older people don't they...I'm off down to Phil next week for a few days to do some measuring of windows and floors, I forgot to tell you about my conversation with a farmer last time I was there, I was having a good look around while Phil was chatting away to him, I turned to him and said 'whats that over there', he and Phil looked at me like I had gone crackers or grown another head and the farmer said, too slowly I think...'a cow'...well I never pretended to be a country girl did I lol...talk about feeling stupid, in my defence though I didn't have my glasses on...I promise...maybe I shouldn't wander off on my own while I'm down there, well without my glasses anyway...right onto my card for today, I was asked by the fabulous girls at A La Card Monkey challenge to be their Guest Designer this week and how lucky am I that I got this stunner of a sketch to play with
...now as you know I don't really do clean and simple and think this is as close as I come but I really enjoyed playing with this one...I used these two gorgeous little kids from Mo's Digital Pencil for my card, the boy is called Harvard and the gorgeous little girl is Fridays child...how sweet are they together and while I was colouring them with distress inks the sentiment came to me...I couldn't resist lol...the papers are from Panduro Kitchen garden Tilda 12x12 paper pad, I have had this ages and ages and still use it for the stunning fresh colours...right now I'm off shopping with my Dad today as Phil is away marshaling a motorbike race and then maybe a bit of crafting...whatever your up to today have a fantastic time

Next thing we know you'll be trying to pet the bull! (That's the one with horns and a you know what, don't repeat don't mess with that one!) LOL! Have fun,

Lovin your card Mina... makes me smile so much.. and yes, love is truly blind! Papers and colouring are perfect too.
LOL at your cow story... type of thing I do when I should be wearing my distance glasses and end up peering at pieces of tree thinking they're animals! I've learned to keep my mouth shut now till someone else defines what the object is!! hehe
