I want a pink spotty balloon too...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...hooray thank you Mr Blogger I have my photos back at the right size again...wow what a difference in the weather yesterday, we had rain, clouds and even a real pea soup fog last night...I always find fog creepy, I think it goes back to the days of Hammer horror films when all the baddies came out of the fog lol...I have great fun playing away in my craft room yesterday but then was hopping mad last night as I wanted to blog hop and couldn't get online at all...this is becoming a pain in the bum now, I keep wondering if its worth moving isp's before we find a new house or just bear with it until then...of course I could be minus a front window and a laptop by then lol, anyway I gave up trying after a couple of hours and had an early night instead...but while I was in my craft room I was having a bit of a rummage and found this sheet of lush paper (the stripe is the back of it) and just knew exactly which image I would use for it...it had to be I Heart You from Mo's Digital Pencil...I know it sounds strange but I really love colouring white, well I don't exactly colour white I colour the shadows, oh well you know what I mean don't you...I love how you can bring something to life just with a bit of shading and a teeny bit of colour on the cheeks and ears...well I hope I brought it to life anyway, I used distress inks for her and paper pieced her balloon...oh btw the paper is from Rayher and is called Spots & Stripes (now that name didn't take much imagination did it lol)...the fab sketch is from The Sweet Stop and I'm also entering it for the Digi Doodle Shop challenge too...I'm off to Town this morning for a much needed haircut and then I need a pair of shoes to go with a dress I had forgotten I had until I was searching for a t shirt in my wardrobe...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

whats blogger fixed now...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well...ok who fixed Mr Blogger again, I have been enlarging my photos the same way for the last two years and now it wont work????...its one of those 'it wasn't broke but we fixed it anyway' kinda things that blogger does now and again I think...any ideas anyone?...you can still see a large sized photo by clicking on it and I will have to do some research as to the best way to enlarge them again so bear with me for a few days...we went shopping for my Dads things yesterday and I will never ever let him moan about women shopping ever again...I cant believe how many pairs of chino type shorts we looked at and after all the shops that sold them were scoured we went back and got the first pair we saw at the first shop...aaaaarrrgggghhhhlol...its a good thing I love him to bits isn't it...but we got everything he needs for his holiday anyway, oh and just before we left the house he told me he didn't have travel insurance so I had to do that too...but its sorted now anyway...very expensive for him though as he has COPD and needs existing medical insurance...right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts and Me Challenge, I'm the host this time and I chose (well what else would it be from me) Add a Ribbon...I used this amazing new release digi from Crafts and Me called Hidden, stunning isn't she, she isn't available yet but will be around the 1st June...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and glittered her wings...I teamed her up with this stunning flowered paper from K&Co...I love the flowers on this don't you...I finished with some seam binding and a flower cut from the paper...the lush sketch is from Mojo Monday and I'm also entering it for the Simon Says Stamp challenge and the Creative inspirations challenge too...right I'm off to the craft room as its a lot cooler today and I wont risk melting hopefully lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and when you have time pop on over to the Crafts and Me challenge to check out the rest of the DT's fab work

p.s. now my photos have started to vanish...whats going on blogger?????

oops I almost forgot...

Hi everyone me again and oops I almost forgot to show you this card for today...some of the DT at Bunny Zoe's Crafts were asked to be GDT's over at Party Time Tuesday's Anything Goes challenge and I made a card for it...this amazingly beautiful little sweetie is Whimsy Cinnamon Sugar, isn't she so beautiful, I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with these lush Cosmo Cricket 6" x 6" Mini Deck - Baby Jane, the colours in this pad are so gorgeous and perfect for summer...I finished my card with some fab red gingham ribbon and Wooden Ornaments - Alphabet for the sentiment...I coloured them with Red Barn distress inks to match the papers...I'm entering this into the Willow Sketchie challenge, Craft Your Days Away challenge and Creative Craft challenge...right that's me for today (I promise no more honestly lol), have a wonderful night and if you can pop on over to the Part Time Tuesday challenge (just click on the logo at the top of the page) to see what the rest of the team came up with

pink, girlie and lethal...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well and happy...a quick update on the cute little cat who was visiting, its still about but I cant bring it indoors anymore it makes me mad itchy...I was scratching away for two days before it dawned on me what it was, I never knew I was allergic to cats, or maybe its just that little cutie, I rang the cat protection place here but they wont come and collect it unless its injured, so what am I to do with it, well I have taken some photos and I will take them around to the neighbours see if anyone has moved lately or maybe know who it belongs to...my Daughter would love to take it but she is the owner of a sumo cat who would just need to sit on the poor thing lol...it has taken root on my garden chairs, the one in the shade during the day and the others at night...the poor little thing is breaking my heart crying every time I go out...but the itch wont go away I'm afraid...right now onto my card for today which is pink, girlie and was lethal my craft room was a sizzling 34degrees yesterday and I could only manage this one before I had to get out...Phil did suggest a fan but a fan and loose bits of paper, ribbon and loads of layers is not a good combination with a fan is it lol...anyway its using this cute little Sugar Nellie stamp called Mackenzie, would you believe I found this cutie hiding never even been inked...I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced her dress in the same pink gingham from Craft Creations that I used for the background, I finished with some lush green seam binding from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, gorgeous colour isn't it... I finished with a mixture of pink and white roses and some tiny leaves...the fab sketch is from the Simply Stampin' challenge but as I didn't use a Stampin up image Im not entering it...I am entering it for the Oh La La Creations challenge and the Squiggles Stamp challenge...I'm off out to Town with my Dad today as he needs new sunglasses and shorts for Sicily, I hope its a bit cooler today as I don't want to drag him round shops in that heat...whatever your up to have a fabulously sunny day

beware of the 'tidying up' monster...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all having a fantastic weekend and having some fun...we had to get a taxi to Town after four hours yesterday to get our car after its service and that was on top of the huge massive service bill (I was just thinking how much I could buy with it lol), had a little mooch round Town and a coffee with my Dad then headed home to pick up some rays...so off I go to get all the 'stuff' that's needed for a few hours in the sun, you know the type of things, sunglasses, lotion, something to read, drink, nibble on and of course my ipod, but it was out of charge...now I want you to all ask the men in your life to figure this one out for me, I have three handbags, a navy suede one, a large massive black leather one with a funky black and white interior and my everyday leather shoulder bag, now I knew my charger was in the big black leather one as that's the one I take away with me so I leave it in there...I hunted up and down, in cupboards and everywhere I can think of but no bag, my other was where it should be in the bottom of the wardrobe and my everyday one in the kitchen...it had me totally puzzled...so I went outside to ask Phil if he had seen it...'oh I was having a little tidy when I was putting some of my stuff away and I think I put it in the attic' he says?????????....now why on earth would any man move his wife's handbag to the attic lol...figure that one out....right now onto my card for today, how fantastic is this image from D'Arcy's Diaries...she is called Swedish Star Student and I think shes perfect for a teachers card don't you...I coloured her with distress inks and used these beautiful papers from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Almanac, I love Prima papers don't you, the designs are fabulous and the papers have a real vintage feel to them, I bought this pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished my card with a lush cream satin ribbon and bow, a few pearls and a violin charm...the fab sketch is from the Cards & Things Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Totally Gorjuss (the stamp is new) and the Inky Impressions challenge too...its our Daughters birthday today and we have a fab present for her, I'm so excited about giving it to her but I will tell your more about it tomorrow just in case, she doesn't read my blog and really doesn't like my cards that much either (I know what a cheek eh lol) but you never know do you...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and watch out for the 'tidying up' monster lol

feeling hot hot hot...

Good morning everyone are you all enjoying the weather or melting yet lol...its really not a good idea going shopping on the hottest day of the year when the stores haven't quite sorted out if they should have heating or air con on yet...we were having a fantastic day wandering round doing the girlie stuff yesterday, loved make up shopping as its great to do that with another woman isn't it but then we went into a dress shop to look at some we had seen in the window and omg it must have 35 degrees in there, it just washed over me like a sickness and I could feel myself going, we had to dash outside as my Daughter said I changed colour and she thought I was going to pass out (I didn't tell her I thought I was going to too lol)...fair enough that they don't have the air con but at least open a door or two...the poor girls that worked there looked terrible in that heat, I really felt for them...we had lunch then sat in our town square for a while nattering...fantastic day, I think the older our Daughter gets the better shopping trips are, long gone are the days of dashing from shop to shop with a stroppy teenager who cant find anything that fits, or doesn't make her look fat (yeah right like a size 10 is fat) or hates something because I picked it...thank goodness they are over too lol...right now onto my card for today, I love this fantastic Bubbles Boy from Mo's Digital Pencil don't you, his little face is so adorable, definitely a Mo's face isnt it, I coloured him with distress inks and used this amazing paper from My Minds eye Lil Robots range, I love this collection it has such lush colours and is brilliant for boys cards of all ages...I finished my card with some ribbons, a double knot, buttons and a couple of cogs cut from the paper...the lush sketch is from Dutch Dare challenge and I'm also entering it for the Chocolate, Coffee & Cards challenge and the Fairytale challenge...I'm not sure what we are up to today as the car is in for a service from early but hopefully will be out by 1pm because I still need to get a couple of things for our Daughters Birthday tomorrow...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and watch out for the 'hot' shops

Good morning everyone are you all enjoying this fantastic sunny weather, I'm loving it, its so wonderful not to have to put the heat on at night, I still haven't forsaken the woolly socks yet though...you never know do you...we went for a lovely drive and walk yesterday morning and then for breakfast...although I had to bite my tongue while I was in the breakfast cafe, there was two workmen there who were making obscene gestures behind some schoolgirls backs...it makes me so mad and sick to the stomach they were so pervy and creepy, they think its ok to do that in public and I was so tempted to go over and say something but the girls were leaving and the men caught me watching them and got embarrassed and stopped....aaaarrrrggggghhhhhh what is wrong with them...your ok you can come out now my soapbox moment is over lol...right now its a normal day today no blog hop so I have made my card using this so so cute little CC Designs Swiss Pixie Rainy Day Birgitta isn't she so sweet sheltering underneath her leaf...I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced her sweet little dress with some of the lush Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Fairy Belle papers, this is such a beautiful pad but then which Prima pads aren't lol...the pad and stamp are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts I finished my card with some beautiful purple organza ribbon and bow and a stunning charm I bought a few weeks ago from a local shop...amazing isn't it. a lot of cutting out...

Good morning everyone I hope your having the nice weather we are having, its not hot or warm even but at least the sun is out and hopefully it will stay that way for a while...I didn't go out with my lovely Dad yesterday as hes off to visit my Sister in Belfast so I had just settled down for an afternoon on my own when Phil arrived home from the racing to take me out for lunch, he really is one of life's sweethearts isn't he...nice lunch then we went and looked at the outside of some houses on my ever expanding list...they are all too far out of town though...isn't Estate agent speak very elastic...one description said 'walking distance to town', we gave up looking after three miles, now that's a long walk isn't it lol...I think you have to read between the lines don't you, character property means falling to bits and centrally located means in the wilds lol...now onto my card for today which is using this stunning Sara Burrier image from Crafts and Me, isn't this Teas and Sandwiches image just stunning, I coloured it with distress inks and cut it out, I know I'm mad but I do enjoy a long cut out, well when I say long it has to take less than ten minuets or I get bored lol...I cut a hole in the card and mounted the image over the hole so it would look more dimensional...did it work ok do you think?...these stunning papers are from the My Minds Eye-A Happy Heart 6x6 pad, amazing colours aren't they...the patterns were so nice I didn't think I needed anything but a gold twinkly organza ribbon and bow to finish...the sketch I made us as I went along but I'm entering this into the Crafty Calender challenge, Sweet Stampin challenge and the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge too...now onto tomorrows post and we are having a sneak peek all week of the new release at Sugar Nellie so my post wont be live until 9am instead of 7am, just in case you thought I was missing early morning I thought I better let you know...I haven't a clue what we are up to today but whatever your up to have a fabulous day

knock it down and start again...

Good morning everyone do you have anything fantastic planned for this weekend?...I hope your having a brilliant one, Phil is away at the motorbikes today as its a huge bike racing weekend on the north coast of Ireland this weekend and although he isn't marshaling he has gone to watch so I think I will ring my Dad and head of to the garden centre, they have a sale on and I bought some fab planters a few weeks back that are just crying out for some herbs...we went to see a house yesterday, now you all know about the farmhouse so we aren't afraid of taking on something that needs fixing up...but this one oh boy, it was more a knock it down than a fix it up...I would need a bulldozer and a few skips and that was just for the inside lol...the only good thing was it had a small badly overgrown and wrecked garden but it was so quiet and secluded and you could really see it would be stunning...it wasn't enough to save the house though...oh well never mind its very early days and the estate agent had a real giggle with us as we went from room to room each once getting worse, she even apologised at one stage as she hadn't seen it before and was quite shocked herself, she was sssssoooooo nice too, she reminded me of our Daughter...right now onto my card for today which is using this stunning Mo's Digital Pencil girl, isn't she so beautiful...shes called Bubbles Girl and I coloured her with distress inks, I matched her up with these stunning papers from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline-Howdy Doody 6x6 paper pad I bought at Bunny Zoe's Crafts (Its out of stock atm but there's loads of other lush pads here)...I finished with some pretty pearls, a gingham bow, roses and a cute fairy metal charm...ooohhh and I added some glitter to her bubbles...the fab sketch is from the Stampin for the Weekend challenge and I'm also entering it for the Charisma Cardz challenge and Crafty Catz challenge too....whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and watch out for Garden centre sales, they are lethal

aaaarrrrggggghhhhh no colouring...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well?...we had a fab day yesterday we are house hunting, we decided that we wanted 'our' house, this house was chosen by me and it was kinda my house while Phil was working away, he chose the farmhouse and the same was true there. So we have decided to have am us house and are house hunting, we have also decided to move into town so it will be much much easier for me while Phils at work as Im out in the sticks here and the buses are shockingly bad...does that make sense, well it does to us lol...so we saw a house yesterday which has loads of potential but its still early days, so keep your fingers crossed the 'us' house appears soon...anyway onto my card for today, now dont all faint at once, I know theres no colouring on it lol...it makes a chance for me but I really love the design of this and although theres no colouring it definatly isnt plain...I used these amazing My Minds Eye-Meadowlark 6x6 paper pad papers teamed up with this beautiful Kaisercraft Clear Texture Stamps - Keys stamp (the papers and stamp are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts), isnt it just stunning, I stamped it twice and cut two of the keys out for embellishments...I finished with a huge white satin bow...I found the quote on the internet and printed it out to finish off my card, the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday...well what do you think, is my card ok even without any colouring? or are you still reeling with shock lol...Im having a crafting day today and my lovely Dad is coming for dinner tonight, whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

Im seeing spots...

Good morning everyone I hope your doing well and have a good week...we went shopping yesterday, I was just noticing and a few people we met have commented that my Dad is looking really well, I think his eyes were really getting him down and he just wouldn't admit it...now he has that wicked twinkle in his eyes back, if I could just get him to go see an ear specialist and getting his hearing sorted out he wouldn't have to constantly ask me what people are saying...thing is he asks me way after the event and some days my memory isn't the best and I cant remember...you know if you put my Dad and me together you must get a whole person that everything works on lol...right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts and Me challenge, our challenge this time is Pearls and Lace, I used this stunningly beautiful Spring image from Sara Burrier at Crafts and Me for my card, gorgeous isn't she...I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with this lacy paper from Kars...I love this paper its so so pretty and perfect for this challenge...I used the lace paper to cut out circles for the fab sketch from The Sweet Stop challenge and finished with some different coloured pearls...the sketch is a really simple one but looks fantastic don't you think...I'm also entering it for the Paper Sundaes challenge...I'm hopefully going to finish off the cards I started at the beginning of the week today, well that's the plan anyway but you never know do you, the call of the outside might just call to me...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and if you have the time pop on over to the Crafts and Me challenge to see what the rest of our team came up with

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and having a fab week...it was a strange day yesterday one of those days when its two steps forward one back, trying hard to do things and not quite getting there, I have five cards half made, when you have one of those days your better drawing a line and starting again another day aren't you...well it either that or bang your head against a brick wall and the first is less painful lol...its still taking a little bit of getting used to having Phil home, don't get me wrong I'm loving every second of it but there is teeny little things like Phil brought a clock home with him and the ticking is driving me nuts so whenever I can I stop it in the hope he will think its broken and chuck it lol...I know I'm bad I should just tell him shouldn't I...I hate ticking clocks don't you its like chinese water torture lol...right now onto my card for today, I thought it was time I did a boys card as I haven't been doing as many as normal so I chose this stunning little Sugar Nellie Striker stamp from Funky Kits for it...hes so sweet isn't he, I love these little hedgies...I coloured him with distress inks and teamed him up with this amazing double sided paper from My Minds Eye Lil' Robots range, its called Sock Em Stars...I finished with some white rope and bow, a stamped sentiment from kaisercraft and a star cut from the paper...I think this image would make a fantastic card for any boys birthday don't you...the fab sketch is from The Sugar Bowl and I'm entering it for the Lollipop Crafts challenge and Allsorts challenge too...I'm off out with my lovely Dad today I think he needs shopping, I really should buy some shares in Sainsburys shouldn't I lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one
