up, up and away home...

Good morning everyone...well we should be on our way home or even have arrived by the time you read this...another unearthly houred flight time (is houred even a word lol), I think a little fella in a bad mood sits in a room somewhere wondering who he can send on early morning flight and if you tick him off then heaven help you lol...well I don't think I did too bad keeping up with my posts while I was away do you...although I'm sure there was loads of spelling and grammar mistakes along the way but what a spelling mistake between friends...did you miss me, bet you didn't lol...I think Phil secretly thinks I'm nuts posting all these cards for while I'm away, he thinks I'm talking to a computer but hes wrong, my friends are stashed inside it lol...anyway onto my last scheduled post card I will be back irl tomorrow...this sweet little image is a freebie I think from Sylia Zet at Wee Stamps, I think it came along with a digi order I placed ages ago, when Im going away I always have a hunt in my digi file to see what I haven't used and this cutie was one of them...I used distress inks and some of the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Doodle Deux from Bunny Zoe's Crafts for the papers...Prima pads are usually really muted and soft but this one is fantastically bright and colourful...lush pad...I finished with some ribbons including a pretty little gingham bow and a sentiment cut from the same pad...right that's its from the virtual me, I will speak to you in person tomorrow so until then have a wonderful day everyone

a gift...

Good morning everyone...I forgot to tell you when we went on our girlie shopping trip a few weeks back when I got home Phil had painted every pick of wood in the hall...wow now that's good going or the trip was a lot longer than I had intended lol...now 5 hours for three woman shopping for a wedding isn't bad going I think how about you, mind we didn't even have time to stop for a coffee, although my Niece did manage to grab a huge bag of candy floss which we all ended up sharing...I managed to leave my umbrella in a shop and my Daughter nipped back to get it for me and while she was away I managed to lose a bag with her new burgundy coloured jeans in it...panic on hunting about town to see if we could find it and when we didn't I said I would buy her another pair so we headed back to the shop to find when we arrived some lovely kind woman had found the bag in the street and handed it into the shop, which really restored my faith in human nature...what a lovely thing to do isn't it...right now onto my card for today which is using this new stamps from The Greeting Farm...she is called TGF Anya Celebrates and is perfect for any gift giving occasion don't you think...I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced the gift and used the Glitz 6x6" Paper Pack - Hello Friend for her...this pad is full of soft soft colours...the sentiment is from the same stamp sheet and I finished with a sprinkling of the lush roses from the Flat Back Rose Cabochons - Mixed Bag for embellishments, these are so pretty and cute...everything I used on my card is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...well that's me for another day...whatever your up to today have a wonderful day full of gifts and roses

sepia?...

Good morning everyone, hows your week been, anything exciting?...I was looking through some photos the other day and I remembered my Dad has a block and white photo of my Mum was she was in her early 20's, of course it has sepia tones now but it is an amazing photo and my Mum looks so beautiful in it, I must get a copy of it...apparently when my Mum was that age of course it was the fifties and she had a waspish figure with a 19inch waist would you believe how amazing is that...well at least I have a 19inch thigh so similar lol...anyway the reason for that little story is I tried to recreate the same look with this stunning digi from Crafts and Me...its called Reading Time and is by the super talented Hannah Lynn...hhhmmmm I'm not sure I managed it though what do you think?...I coloured these with distress inks and used some lush paper from Graphic 45's Tropical Travelogue collection called Tiki Voyager...I love love love Graphic45 just in case you hadn't noticed lol...I finished my card with a lush sparkly bow, some gorgeous pins and a few pearls scattered about...well that's me for today, I hope I'm still lying about around the pool atm and Phil has the sense to flip me over now and again, mind he may need a big fish slice lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

another mystery paper...

Good morning everyone me again...are you fed up with the virtual me yet lol...this image reminds me so much of Christmas when our Daughter was younger, every single year it was a tradition to trim the tree on the 1st December and she was in charge of getting all the sparkly things out of the boxes...I loved it so much and after we had finished trimming the tree Phil's job was to put the star on the top and switch on the lights...there's something very infectious about the excitement of a child at Christmas, you can almost feel what they feel...right now onto my card for toda and yet another mystery paper...now I can remember buying this and where, I can even remember I bought some Thickers with it too...but cant for the life of me remember the name or make...my memory has finally given up lol...this fabulous image is one of the new Sugar Nellie Christmas digis...this cutie is called Sparkle & Shine...I coloured her with distress ink and used the colours in the papers for her outfit...I finished with a deep strip of lace, pink ribbon and a green satin ribbon...I really like this colour combo for Christmas don't you...the sentiment is from another Crafty Inspirations stamp set from Funky Kits too...the sketch is another from Mojo Monday...have a wonderful day today everyone just me a comment and tell me what you think of today's card

Good morning everyone did you all have a fabulously wonderful weekend...my sister and her family, Dad and our beautiful Daughter and her other half were all down for dinner on Saturday night, I made pies then we had chip shop chips with them for dinner and there was loads of laughter, eating, giggling and chat...everyone said how much they loved the warm welcoming feel of our house and how much at home they felt, so we must be doing something right mustn't we lol...the best day was yesterday though all the girls (including my fantastic 4 year old Niece who is definitely a diva in the making) had a girlie shopping trip to town to see if we could get our outfits for the wedding in October...and...we did, my Daughter bought a skin tight knee length 50's style dress, its stunning and of course it help having a size 8 figure she is going to wear it with leather gloves, clutch bag high heels and a fascinator, Sis couldn't decide on what to get so bought 3 dresses and she will chose later and take the others back (I hope she chooses the blue one its stunning on her and us great with her colouring...beautiful) and I bought a gorgeous jacket in a kind of brocade pattern in soft grey and black to wear with a John Rocha dress I bought ages ago...so a really successful trip and I loved being out with them all too...of course the little un had to have her lip gloss on and buy some girlie bits and pieces...she is so a girlie girl and so so adorable...right now enough waffle Mina onto to today's card, how perfect is the fantastic Gloria By the Pool by Mo's Digital Pencil...now how on earth did she get a photo of me to copy lol, yeah right, I wish I looked that good in a swimsuit...I coloured her with distress inks and used these lush Bo Bunny Back to Basics Smoochable words papers...I wont be entering any challenge for the next two weeks as I'm am only here virtually after today...but all the sketches except a couple I made up are from Mojo Monday...I finished my card with some pretty buttons...I'm off to pack today so wish me luck I don't forget something vital...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and wherever you are I hope you get a bit of Gloria's weather
