I love peaches...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and having a little bit of sun, Summer definitely isn't going to arrive here, it has been grey and raining for about three days and everything is so grey and miserable...I have a feeling if we ever get a few days of sun in a row the whole country will stop to enjoy it lol...now to make it just perfect I have the sniffles...'cough cough' do you feel sorry for me?...when our Daughter was growing up I know it sounds awful but I looked forward to the colds and sniffles cause I got to tuck her up in a comfy blanket, propped up with pillows on the sofa and we would have chicken soup together watching musicals and singing to our hearts content......apologies it you tried to enter my candy last night as Mr Linky went walkabout but hopefully he is fully recovered this morning if not I will try and sort something out, haven't a clue what mind ya...I thought I would make a bright and pretty card to enjoy a bit of summer on paper...so I used the beautifully cute Peaches from Mo's Digital Pencil, don't you just love her...I coloured her with distress inks and glittered the cute butterflies...the papers are a mixture of Graphic45 scraps, I love when I can use up scraps don't you, the gorgeous flower is a Prima one I think and I finished with some white ribbon and a Tim Holtz ticket sentiment...the sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm sure there was two others I had in mind to enter it for but the head has bunged up so much it squeezed the info out of it lol, well that's my excuse and I'm sticking too it...well my wonderful Dad is home so I will be listening to his holiday tales over coffee today...have a wonderful day everyone

Mina, poor you coughing n' spluttering. You need to treat yourself to one of those massive blanket/coat thingys that peeps like JML advertise & one of those giant slippers that you slip both feet into & plug in. Stay in n' craft my friend, that'll make you feel heaps better.xx

Hi Mina. Beautiful card. Great colours and really cute image. Hollie calls those days when she is not feeling well, a duvet day and we watch Disney films together and eat lots of tea and toast until she is feeling better. Enjoy your catch-up with your dad. Donna
