Blessed...

Good morning everyone...bbbbbrrrrrr its cold here, winter has arrived I think...is it just as cold where you are, the weather here is really strange, we can actually get all four seasons in one day and I have seen it many times lol...I had a great crafting day yesterday, you know the kind of day when everything you do works out...I even finished a project early, now that's a rarity...I feel that paper sort getting closer and closer...that's scary the thought of searching through my paper stack, I could be crushed under the weight lol...I admit I have a serious addiction to paper...oh and ribbon too, cant resist it...whats your crafting addiction, tell me please so I don't think I'm the only one...right onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Crafts and Me Challenges...this week its the digi teams turn and I'm the host, oooohhhh that sounds posh...I chose a colour combo of Pink, Green & Blue, I rarely use these colours together but always love the look of them together, they look so fresh and bright don't you think, so why not have a go and join in, you don't need to use a Crafts and Me stamp or digi for it..I used the beautiful Blessed digi stamp for my card, isn't she gorgeous and such a dream to colour, I used distress inks, the papers are scraps would you believe, the flowered one is from the Tilda Kitchengarden paper pad I have had for ages...I'm gutted that this is all I have left of the pattern...I cut the roses from a scrap of a different paper from the same pad, I finished with a lush Satin Saxe Blue satin ribbon from the The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop...the sketch is from Pink {INK} sketch challenge and I'm also entering this for the DYSU Use your scrap challenge and Heart Song Inspirations challenge too...I haven't a clue what I'm up to today except if its this cold again I'm hibernating till spring...whatever your up to today stay warm

Mornin' Mina, a beautiful card. I love the colours together. Paper....my guilty pleasure. I don't like throwing any of the tiny left over bits away. I try my hardest to use my best papers, after all that's what I bought them for, isn't it?

Hi Mina,
A gorgeous card and just love this image. Great colour combo.
I have a blue sky here at the moment but it is certainly turning cooler. Very changeable at the moment.
Whatever you end up doing today have a great one.

I haven't bought papers for about 2 years now because I have so many that I am trying to use them all. Unfortunately I now tend to make cards without paper, or I make my ownm so my stash is not going down any!!!!!!!!!!
What a beautiful card, so pretty :o)

I so love this color combination very fresh! Those tones are just way way cute! And your image is just super adorable:0)

I really hope that you post a picture of your paper sorting. I truly love to organize my things and that is one of the best things for me. I like to have things in its place. And when I start a collection then I must work on adding to it. When it no longer fits in what I store it; then must find a better solution. I will admit that sometimes I buy things so that I can have a better collection and then don't want to use it cuz then my collection will be low. I am just getting better at using what I have and not hoarding it. I have put it in my head that if I use what I have then I can make room for new things:0) I hope I'm not sounding too crazy!....hehehe

Hugs;
Janette

Hi Mina, your card is great, nice colours and paper, I am glad that you have choosen this paper. I also have this paper in stock (hihi) but never used it before. You gave me great inspiration and thanks for that.
The weather here is still good. Temp. appr. 11 degr. and it is sometimes really sunny. But we are expecting night frost this week. I have also an addiction for paper and ribbon so you are not alone! That helps doesn't it?
Many thanks for your sweet comment on my blog yesterday, I really appreciate it.

Talk about blessed! You are blessed with such a great talent for making beautiful cards. And don't feel bad at all about your addiction to paper. I have that one too as well as an addiction to punches & dies.

absolutely gorgeous card n image ~ great coloring too! :)

How pretty, love that you didn't cover all that pretty paper up! Addictions...ribbon, ribbon and more ribbon...then paper...then punches! I could keep going but that ought to be more than enough to let you know you're not alone!

Another beauty Mina its cold here too minus 2 this morning, you keep warm we all have that dreaded cold here xx

Turtle In The Sand said...

Addictions? I have a list Copics, Paper, and Ribbon are at the very top. But tell me, how could we make a card without those three things. I would call them necessities.

Just look at the beautiful card you just created with them. Except for the Distress Inks you color with. Have a warm day Mina.

Such a pretty & dainty card & image! Love it. As for paper addictions...I think my husband wants to turn me in for "Craft Hoarding" lol. I get excited by new craft stuff and overload. Many times I forget I have them, lol. I need to do inventory and clean it out, but the thought of it scares & tires me, lol!

Precious image and such soft feminine dp and ribbon to go with her very beautiful!!

Another amazing creation! Love the colors, the papers, the ribbon and of course this perfectly and beautifully colored image!
Addictions? Yes that would be pretty much anything crafty but paper, ribbon, dies and punches top the list. Keep warm!
Blessings Bernie

Hi Mina!
Your card is so beautiful! I`m just totally in love with your colouring. I just love the delicate colours. I too have a couple of addictions, lol. Flowers is one and Lace is the second. I allways seem to boy lots of these but never seem to have the ability to use too much of it. I think they are so beautiful that i just want to keep them in my drawers so i can look at them, hahaha. It`s a habit i HAVE to get rid of, lol. Have a great weekend hunni. Hugs...Mona
