Pretty in Pink...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all well and happy...I was sitting having coffee with my wonderful Dad yesterday and he was going through a newspaper putting the world to rights as normal, you know if they put someone with just a little common sense and a sense of justice and fairness like my Dad in charge of running the country, life would be sorted...so I think we should start a campaign for my Dad as the next Prime Minister...all us crafter's voting for him he would so win wouldn't he lol...he is such an intelligent, kind, caring individual and I cherish the time I spend with him every day which is just the way it should be shouldn't it....my card for today is for our new challenge at the Just Magnolia & Hanglar & Stanglar challenge and because October is Breast Cancer Awareness month our choice this week is Pink of course...this is a cause very close to my heart, luckily my two lumps were successfully removed last year and I needed no further treatment but for all the fantastically brave women who go through this horrendous disease every day...this is for you...I used one of the new Magnolia Sweet Christmas stamps and it just goes to show they aren't just for Christmas, this is the beautiful Tilda with Winter Flowers, look at her super sweet cardigan and I love those shoes...I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with my new favourite Prima Madeline 6x6 paper pad, I love this collection it is stunning...the tag is from the same pad and I also used some cut out flowers from it too, I finished with a lush pink velvet ribbon...the pad and stamp are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, btw don't worry if your favourite new Christmas Magnolia stamp was out of stock Nikki has the restocks coming in today...I'm entering this for the Stamptacular Sunday Challenge and the Ribbon Reel challenge...I just remembered I forgot to take photos of the stash I bought at the Kings Hall so I will do this weekend...I'm off to Town today as I have to go to the Docs...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and when you have the time pop on over to Just Magnolia and see all the pink loveliness the rest of our team came up with

This pink card is so sweet, Mina! I love her little pink shoes. OOO...so cute. They remind me of the shoes that Cabbage Patch Dolls had--only pink! :)

Beautiful card - your colouring is superb. I thought that Gerry (my husband) was the only one with all the answers to put the country to rights. If we could put your dad in as P.M. Gerry could be the Chancellor and everybodys problems would be solved.

Prime Minister? Absolutely! Too bad he wasn't born in America. We need him for President!

Lovely card Mina. Those little pink shoes take me back in time. I remember those soft leather button shoes. Oh how I loved them.

Check out yesterday's post on my blog. I put a card on there for you. It is small, you probably will have to click on it to enlarge. Hugs
