a touch of black...

Good morning everyone, how you all doing?...it has tiddled down here for 24 hour, the heavens just opened and it didn't seem to want to stop...do you know every single week when my lovely Phil goes back to work he forgets something, one week its his glasses, work shoes, all his shirts, you will never guess what he forget this week, his blood pressure tablets...duh and I think I'm scatter brained...well its sorted now so panic over thank goodness...I seriously will have to check his bags before he leaves wont I...bless him hes a real sweetie you know and I wouldnt swap him for the world...I was out for coffee yesterday with my Dad and I am happy to report that despite the weather everyone's moods seem to have lifted a little bit and thank goodness the hot water machine is fixed so no squabbling over kettles lol...right now onto my card for today which is using another of the amazing new Fairy Glen release from Funky Kits, this little sweetie is called Let Them Eat Cake, I coloured her with distress inks and because she has wings of course there's....glitter lol...the paper is a half sheet scrap of a Fancy Pants paper called Pink Paisley and because I only had a piece I backed it with plain black card which I think really brought it to life...what do you think? I added another of these stunning Bunny Zoe's Crafts wired ribbons, this is in fact the dark blue one but it goes well doesn't it, I scrunched it up which is easy when its wired...I finished with three punched butterflies...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering this for the DYSU challenge and Lollipop challenge too...I'm having a craft catch up day today as I'm trying to clear some time so I can sort out my papers for my new storage boxes....oooohhhhh I feel a giveaway coming up lol...whatever your up to today have a wonderful one and I hope you all stay dry
Mina xxx
p.s. do my photos look kinda fuzzy to you sorta pixelated (is that a word even)?, they do to me but I think it might be my computer

Pixels look just fine Mina. That Navy bow certainly looks black to me. Black always anchors a card, so that was a good choice. Hugs, Linda

Love touches of black, just sorta brings everything together. Sure looks like a black ribbon on my computer. Yup, I think you'd better check on Phil's packing. Either that or make him a checklist to keep in the suitcase! (even better idea, actually)
