ooohhhh for eyes that colour...

Good morning everyone are you all having a fantastic week?...it tiddled down all day here yesterday, my lovely Dad says it just waits for us to head for a shop and the heavens open...it doesn't really it just seems that way lol...we had a little run out yesterday and for coffee then I got home and had just settled down and Phil arrived home really early and said come on lets head to town for coffee, one minuet nothing then two invites in a day...well whats a girls to do eh lol...so off to town we went and a second cup of strong coffee in less than two hours...its a good thing caffeine doesn't effect me in any adverse way isn't it and I do love a good cappuccino don't you (especially one that comes with apple pie and cream on the side)...a little mooch around the shops, a new nail varnish then home for dinner...so not a bad day and much better than the last few days in my pool of cold induced self pity...even my sniffles seem to be drying up now thank goodness but I didn't kiss my Dad goodbye as normal just in case though...right my card for today...how amazing are the eyes on this stunning Hannah Lynn image from Crafts & Me...she is the beautiful Monica, I coloured her with distress inks and used more of the amazing DCWV papers (the ones that are my prize in my candy)...they are so worth winning so if you haven't joined in yet there's still a few days left to enter...I finished with a stamped sentiment on vellum ripped and glued as my sentiment and of course more cutting out (totally addicted now aren't I lol) of the stunning flowers from the paper...the fab sketch is from Stamptacular Sunday challenge and I'm also entering it for the Kaboodle Doodles challenge and the Stamp N Doodle challenge too...its supermarket day today with my Dad...I think if I was ever to be rich I would so pay someone to go to the supermarket for our shopping while we sat somewhere nice sipping tea putting the world to rights...I wouldn't forgo the trips just the task lol...whatever your up to today have a fab one

Good morning Mina, what a lot of gorgeous cards since my last visit. My daughter and granddaughter's eyes are sometimes green but mostly grey due to their viking heritage (on my first hubby's side) :o)

Gorgeous card...yes, I love those eyes too...my Mum and my youngest sister were lucky enough to have eyes that colour. Most others in my family have aquamarine blue, s piercing blueish tone. Me, meh, no such luck, I just have regular old blue!

I love to get out for a coffee...it is just not the same as at home...I love to people watch as I sip my coffee. You are so lucky that Phil likes to go too. My DH doesn't like the smell so never would suggest sitting around lingering...He would go thru the drive thru for me...tehehee Of course i take him up on that.

This is so beautiful Mina. Gorgous soft colours and super image. Love the way you used the vellum for the sentiment. I have a few sheets unopened in the cupboard - now I know what to use them for, thanks for the inspiration xx

Lovely card Mina...she certainly does have beautiful eyes....unlike mine that are usually a lovely shade of bloodshot! LOL! Glad you are feeling better & were able to get out with your Dad for coffee. We are expecting 25-30cm of snow tonight so I won't be going anywhere for a day or 2!
