I found some...

Good morning everyone how was your weekend anything exciting happening...we didn't get up to much at all really just a quick visit into town for nothing exciting (that's unless you call light bulbs exciting)...I was having a bit of a search of my craft room though and I found four small sheets of my last paper pad so happy days at least I could have a colour and know the inks would spread well anyway...I will just have to scrap the last pad I think, it sticks in my throat a bit though as they are super expensive and I hate wasting things like that...I was thinking though (always a dangerous idea lol) maybe I should cut a bit of a sheet and send it into the manufacturers and see what is wrong with it...might be worth a shot don't you think...thank you all so much for your get well wishes for my poor Dads eye, it spread across his face a little but I'm pleased to say its now clearing up so at least no more freaking out when I look at him thank goodness lol...btw let me know if you think my colouring is a lot better with these old papers than with the rubbish ones, I think it is but it might be wishful thinking...anyway onto my card for today which is using a bit of the old paper to colour...this little cutie is of course from Mo's Digital Pencil...isn't she so so beautiful and I love the toy rabbit don't you...shes called Em Praying and I used my distress inks to colour her...the lush papers are from the Kaisercraft - Bundle of Joy 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I love the soft gentle colours in this pad don't you...I added a huge bow made from Organza Ribbon - Dark Green (25mm Wide) ,a heart embellishment I found in a box and a few pearls from the Mixed Bag 3mm Flat backed Pearls to finish...the fab sketch is from the Sweet Sketch Wednesday 2 challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Calendar Challenge, Sister Act Challenge and Papertake Weekly Challenge too...I have a few things to do today so its out and about for me...best get the war paint on...whatever your up to today have a good one and wherever you are I hope your safe and dry

Good morning everyone yep its me on time bright and early...your eyes aren't deceiving you lol...I hope your all well and having a great start to your week, well did you all have a good weekend and did you get up to anything exciting?...oooohhhhh I forgot to tell you yesterday but my poor Dad burst a blood vessel in his eye on Saturday...omg it looks horrendous like something out of a horror film and gave me the total judders, but hes fine we popped into the opticians and were told 'it happens' he probably sneezed or blew his nose too hard and his cataract surgery is fine and cant move now cause that's what I was worried about...phew that was a relief I had awful visions of him having to have surgery on it again...I still cant look at him without getting totally grossed out though lol...the reason I'm back bright and early this morning is because today's card is for our new Hearts/Love monthly challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I couldn't resist this little darling Magnolia LF release stamp isn't she gorgeous with her little robe and fluffy slippers...shes called Tilda Rose Scent and I used my usual distress inks to colour her...the amazingly gorgeous papers and sentiment tag are from the Kaisercraft - Curiosity 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad and I made a bow using Marianne D Lace and finished with a couple of buttons from the Prima Buttons - Tea-Thyme pack, everything I used for my card today is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the fab sketch is from Feeling Sketchy Challenge and Im also entering it for the Crafty Calendar Challenge and the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge too...well I'm busy busy busy today...need to start dealing with things no more time for brooding or feeling grumpy and down...its time to brush ourselves off and start again...I think you know when its time don't you...whatever your up to today I hope its a relaxing fun day for you all...speak to you all tomorrow

Bella love...

Good morning everyone did you all have a fabulous weekend?...I was very out of sorts after my hospital visit on Friday so had the weekend to chill and put it all aside before I could settle down to creating anything...poor Phil got asked to work on Saturday when he was supposed to be marshaling...but on Saturday the heavens opened and the racing was cancelled so he didn't miss anything...in fact the rain was of biblical proportions and was running down our street at one stage...all those poor people who had come from all over the world for the racing didn't get to see anything...in fact there's a B&B three doors up from us and the German riders staying there only got one ride around the track before the racing was stopped isn't that awful...but all's well now everyone has gone home and things are getting back to normal...although the 100 or so bikes that took a short cut through our very quiet street on Friday evening were a bit of a shock lol, but Phil loved it...right now onto my card for today...how sweet is this cutie...shes one of the new Wild Rose Studios stamps and is called Bella with Posy, just what you need isn't it a cute little elephant with flowers, now that would make anyone smile...I coloured her with my distress inks and teamed her up with some more of the amazingly gorgeous Kaisercraft - Needle & Thread 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad...lush isn't it...I finished with a scattering of pearls and three flowers from the Prima Flowers Perle Bebe - Almanac pack...everything I used except the pearls are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts... the fab sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Calender Challenge and the Dream Valley Challenge too...I'm having a catch up day today theres loads of DT stuff I have to catch up with...I may have to lock myself in lol...whatever your up to today I hope its a fabulously sunny one for you

consider it hexed...

Good morning everyone are you all well?...thank goodness Phil got home earlier than we thought so of we popped out for lunch then up to the craft shop for the wedding ribbon and you will never guess what...I only bought the ribbon...ok now don't all faint at once lol...mind I had just received a parcel of goodies I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts so didn't really need anything, you will be seeing some of those new goodies next week...cant wait to get my scissors cutting into some of the papers I bought...and you will not believe it but it rained all day, yes I know shock horror how unusual is that lol...my card for today is me putting a hex on the rain, its been hexed to go away and bring the sun...let me know if it works you never know I could rent myself out for all sorts of hexing lol...I used this beautiful little boy from Mo's digital pencil, its from her new Summer Kids collection and this little fella is the Straight Haired Boy version...of course I didn't just get him and you will see another one soon...they so remind me of holiday with our beautiful Daughter, she travelled everywhere with us from she was 6 months old...she had a floppy eared dog soft toy who travelled everywhere with us and had its own little name and address tag, just in case, she never ever left it anywhere...I still have the torn and worn with love Sally in my memories box under my bed...do you have a memory box like that?...anyway back to my card, the amazingly colourful paper is from Echo Park's Summer Days collection called Quilt, perfect summery colours aren't they, I finished with some cheapo foam letters that were in pink but colour brilliantly and a selection of buttons to match the papers...the fab sketch is from The Sweet Stop challenge and I'm also entering it for the Card Crafters Circle challenge and the Crafty Calender Challenge...I have a lot of ribbon and lace cutting to do today so don't think we will be straying farm but then you never know do you...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and keep an eye on the sky in case my hex works lol

a wonky one...

LinkGood morning everyone did you all have a fab day yesterday...it tiddled down all day here and never stopped, it was freezing cold too...we seem to have lost a season or two lol...well all my beautiful Daughter and her partners laundry is done and sorted, I draw the line at ironing them though...we are having lunch today for Fathers Day, I'm cooking so Phil doesn't have too as he usually does our lunch on Sundays, although I bet you he has to have a bit of a nosey and takes over at some stage, Sunday lunch is 'his thing', I wont get to see my lovely Dad but I will ring him later to wish him Happy Fathers Day and to wish him a good rest of his holiday, he flies back from Sicily today sometime...my card for today is a very wonky photo I'm afraid, it looks like I fell over while I took it lol...the gorgeously girlie stamp is called Kraftin' Kimmie - Dorothy, shes lovely isn't she...I coloured her with distress inks and the lush papers are from the Teresa Collins 6x6" Paper Pad - Everyday Moments pad, this is such a lush softly coloured pad with fabulous designs, the pad and stamp are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished with a softly coloured blue satin ribbon and bow and a heart charm threaded with a white satin ribbon...I cant for the life of me remember where the sketch is from but wherever it is from I'm sure I have missed the deadline, cows tail again...I'm entering this for the Crafty Creations challenge, Crafty Calender challenge and the Hotshot Craft blog challenge...I'm off to make a couple of cards before I get stuck into making lunch...omg my life is just one mad social whirl lol...whatever your up to today don't forget to tell the Dads in your life that you love them to bits

a lot of cutting out...

Good morning everyone I hope your having the nice weather we are having, its not hot or warm even but at least the sun is out and hopefully it will stay that way for a while...I didn't go out with my lovely Dad yesterday as hes off to visit my Sister in Belfast so I had just settled down for an afternoon on my own when Phil arrived home from the racing to take me out for lunch, he really is one of life's sweethearts isn't he...nice lunch then we went and looked at the outside of some houses on my ever expanding list...they are all too far out of town though...isn't Estate agent speak very elastic...one description said 'walking distance to town', we gave up looking after three miles, now that's a long walk isn't it lol...I think you have to read between the lines don't you, character property means falling to bits and centrally located means in the wilds lol...now onto my card for today which is using this stunning Sara Burrier image from Crafts and Me, isn't this Teas and Sandwiches image just stunning, I coloured it with distress inks and cut it out, I know I'm mad but I do enjoy a long cut out, well when I say long it has to take less than ten minuets or I get bored lol...I cut a hole in the card and mounted the image over the hole so it would look more dimensional...did it work ok do you think?...these stunning papers are from the My Minds Eye-A Happy Heart 6x6 pad, amazing colours aren't they...the patterns were so nice I didn't think I needed anything but a gold twinkly organza ribbon and bow to finish...the sketch I made us as I went along but I'm entering this into the Crafty Calender challenge, Sweet Stampin challenge and the Crafts 4 Eternity challenge too...now onto tomorrows post and we are having a sneak peek all week of the new release at Sugar Nellie so my post wont be live until 9am instead of 7am, just in case you thought I was missing early morning I thought I better let you know...I haven't a clue what we are up to today but whatever your up to have a fabulous day

Good morning everyone, did you all have a fantastic bank holiday weekend, for those who got the bank holiday of course...the heavens opened very early in the morning here so we decided we would go to the Antiques Fair, so many lovely sparkly things (Phil thinks I'm part Magpie) so we spent hours there and I bought two gorgeous blingy brooches, one for me one for our Daughter, the woman said one was 1940's and the other 50's...hhhmmmmmmm not sure about that but they were only £15 for the two so I thought they were a bargain anyway...then we decided to have lunch in the Hotel where it was, we went for a platter for two which at £11 we thought would be a nice not too heavy lunch...omg I have never seen so much food for two people...it made the table groan...the light lunch idea went flying out the window...home, changed and relaxing for the rest of the afternoon was called for, well we had to rest our full tums didn't we, so a nice day all in all...right now onto my card for today which is using this fabulous Funky Kits cutie, its from the Home Grown Sugar Nellie collection and is called Faye and Freddie, isn't she a sweetie and I love that frog...I coloured her with distress ins and of course she has wings and you now I have to use glitter on wings, its the crafting law isn't it?...how amazing is this paper from Graphic45, I'm loving orange atm for some reason and this colour combo with the green leaves and splash of red is just lush isn't it...the paper is from the Tropical Travelogue collection and is called Island Jewel...maybe I love this paper because it reminds me of tropical holidays oooohhhhhhhh wouldn't you just love a few weeks somewhere tropical...I finished my card with some of the lush flowers cut from the paper, a sentiment from my stash and a lush two tone orange ribbon...the lush sketch is from The Sweet Stop challenge and I'm also entering it for the Anything Goes challenge and the Crafty Calender challenge...I'm having a crafting day today, I feel the need to colour and when you gotta colour you just gotta haven't you, you girls now what I mean don't you...whatever your up to today I hope the heavens don't open on you and you stay dry and warm

Good morning everyone did you all enjoy the hops over the last few days, the DT's work was amazing wasn't it...we had a really quiet Saturday, shopped for Sunday lunch and did a little mooching but not much else really...Phil wanted to go shopping for my birthday present but there's nothing I have my eye on for it, its on Friday this week...I find it really really hard to get excited about my Birthday, Phil is always away at work on it and everyone else is busy with their jobs etc, so I usually spend it on my own or with my lovely Dad...to tell you the truth my Birthday is always really really bad, I dread it and usually keep my head down lol...about 25 years ago my Grandma died on my Birthday the poor woman, and it hasn't really recovered since seeing my birth date on her headstone I think...so you can see why I keep my head down cant you...but you never know one of these years something brilliant might happen...yeah right , I wont hold my breath lol...now onto my card for today which should have been on my blog on Friday but got postponed because of the hops so here it is today...its for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge and this week is a gorgeous sketch by our wonderful Jacque, I used this gorgeously cute little Tilda from the new Magnolia Sweet Crazy Love collection and is called Tilda with Heartchain...I think she is so sweet don't you, I coloured her with distress inks and used a bit of Sakura stardust clear glitter pen to her chain but I don't think you can see it very well, the stunning paper is from the same new collection and is called Magnolia Calla of Paris 12x12 paper, I love the faded aged look of it and like all Magnolia papers it is perfect for distressing, the sentiment I printed on my computer and I finished with a lush 25mm Dark Green wired organza ribbon tied into a bow and a pretty little green button...isn't that ribbon gorgeous and its only 40p a metre would you believe and in loads of lush colours too, well you know me I dont like ribbons at all lol, everything is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...ooohhhhh btw did you see I have been promoted to Team Leader at Bunny Zoe's Crafts DT too..I'm entering this for the Crafty Catz weekly challenge, Crafty Creations challenge and the Craft Calender challenge, right now I'm off to do some crafting while my fab Phil makes the family Sunday lunch, thank goodness Im married to a good cook isn't it lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

I added some of the 3mm pearls mixed bag as snowdrops too...the lush fabulously yummy letter paper is from the Sweet Christmas 12x12 paper collection and called Christmas Letter, I cute a few of the letters from the paper and used more pearls for the berries on it...I finished with some ribbon and I decided to use some of the paper to decorate the inside too, everything except the ribbons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I'm entering this for the DYSU Inspired by a Song challenge (I chose Winter Wonderland, you know the one that goes 'Walking in a Winter wonderland') I'm also entering it for the Christmas Stampin' all year round challenge (I haven't used the Edwin stamp before) and the Crafty Calender challenge too...I cant wait to see what you come up with for our challenge and when you have time you could hop on over to Bunny Zoe's Crafts blog to check out the rest of the teams amazing makes...I'm finishing a project today, one you will see on Thursday...whatever your up to have a fab day and don't forget if you haven't joined in my candy yet pop on down now as you never know do you

Good morning everyone, did you all have a fabulous weekend?...well did you all like my candy?...its a goodie isn't it, I was quite chuffed with it even if I say so myself...well on Saturday my wonderful Phil asked where I fancied going, I shrugged and said anywhere you want, so we got in the car and he drove to a wonderful stately gardens near to where we live and pulled into the car park, I'm sitting there thinking...ok so what now???...he got out and into the boot and brought out a wonderful picnic with tapas and dessert and drinks and he even brought forks, knives and napkins, he must have got up really early to prepare it as I was up at 9.30 and with him all night before...we had a wonderful meal and then walked around the gardens and grounds then afternoon tea in the gardens, it was wonderful...now I love my Phil to bits but he isn't romantic or spontaneous at all and never has been, which I didn't mind as you know when you have a good un don't you so that meant so so much to me than just an afternoon out...how lucky am I...we then went into town and found a shop that does house clearances and had a mooch around, I found a fab dressing table and a sorta sideboard thingy, all mucky and needs work but at £40 for the two now you cant say no can you lol, then we met up with our Daughter and her other half and arranged to go shopping on Sunday...so you could say we had a fantastic weekend I think...right that's quite enough waffling so onto my card which is for the TeddyBo Challenge which is to make a shaped card, I used this amazing Teddybea called Daisy Chain isn't she so pretty, I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with these amazing papers from the 6x6 Bo Bunny paper pad called Gabrielle from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I even cut the butterflies from the same pad...aren't they just lush papers, the sentiment I think is from Whiff of Joy...I'm also entering this into the Creative Inspirations Cute Bears challenge and the Crafty Calendar Things with Wings monthly challenge too...right I have taken up enough of your time so I wish you all a wonderful day and don't forget if you haven't entered my candy yet its just below this
