the busted sofa is still going strong...

Good morning everyone do you have anything exciting planned this weekend?...as you guessed from the post title my busted sofa hair is still here, I couldn't get an appointment so it will have to stay how it is until next week...well when I say as it is, I will brush it of course lol...my lovely Dad has gone off with my Sister for a week, I hope he has loads of fun with the little ones, they certainly keep you on your toes...we are going to a huge car boot sale on Sunday and today we will be doing a bit of food shopping for the weekend, Phil has a new recipe for a Italian hot pot type of thing, it sounds yummy and I will let you know how it turns out, I'm so lucky Phil loves cooking because if it was up to me we will survive weekends on toasted sandwiches...I can cook just hate doing it is all lol....right now onto my card for today, how fantastic is this A Big Whoop image from Mo's Digital Pencil, she was a freebie on facebook for a while but if you missed her you can still buy her in the shop of course, look at that adorable face, so full of joy...I coloured her with distress inks and distressed the edges of the image with Antique linen...the amazingly gorgeous papers are from Websters Pages, sorry I don't know which collection as they are all mixed together, I added some punched butterflies, orange twine and a lush orange button and twine bow to finish...the fab sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I'm also entering it for the Totally Papercrafts challenge and Sir Stampalot challenge too...I'm off to make the best of my busted sofa before heading out...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one and don't forget I have new Bunnyzoe's Crafts candy for you all tomorrow

would you like to swing on a bauble...

Good morning everyone did you all have a nice day yesterday, I'm shattered I was locked in my craft room for hours yesterday, trying to catch up with work but I hadn't slept well the night before and everything seemed to be like running through treacle, I bet you know just what I mean...I did manage to get a lot done but I need another lock in day to get the rest finished...I had a photo of a freaky little multi legged friend who visited me in my craft room yesterday and caused a lot of screaming and running around but I thought it might freak some of you out so I didn't post it, if there is popular demand I will show you it though lol...I had to colour this fantastic new image from Mo's Digital Pencil, this is one of the amazing Little Elf's and this beauty is called Little Elf Mim, this little elf made me smile and she is just such a sheer pleasure to colour, I used my usual distress inks to colour her and paper pieced part of her hat and the bauble...now how fabulous are these papers, I bought this Kaisercraft paper pad Velvet Ensemble from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and I have to say if you don't buy anything else get this pad, the papers are just the lushest colours and their velvet and foil and embossing and wow I love it can you tell lol...btw I just wanted to say a few months ago when I said the same thing I got quite a nasty email saying I shouldn't recommend something by saying I bought it when it was obviously a freebie...hand on heart everyone if I say I bought something I bought it I promise you and have the bills to prove lol...right back to the card, the circle I stamped the sentiment onto is from the same pad too...I finished with some lush grey satin ribbon and a bow...the fab sketch is from Pink Ink Sketch Challenge and I'm also entering this for the CES challenge and Sir Stampalot challenge too...right I'm off out to town or for a walk or well...er...anything I can think of as I need the fresh air to clear my fuzzy brain...whatever your up to today have a fantastic day everyone

return of the snow? - Belles and Whistles challenge let it snow+Sir Stampalot challenge-A winters tale+7 kids college fund+Friday Sketchers challenge

Good morning everyone, who has the snow back then?...we had a teeny tiny bit yesterday but it melted as soon as it landed...I haven't got a new guillotine yet and have had to go back to the trusty steel ruler and knife, I had forgotten how long it take cutting like this compared to my gorgeous guillotine boo hoo...in answer to Lorraines question yesterday yes its just me these things happen too, I just lurch from one thing to the next lol...my card for today is for the Belles and Whistles challenge, 7 Kids college fund and Sir Stampalot challenges too, the sketch is from Friday Sketchers...this gorgeous little sweetie is from the Snowbabies range, did you know that 10% of the price of these stamps goes to Breast Cancer research....this gorgeous little one is called Snowball Snowbaby and you can get her either at Belles and Whistles or Nikki has them in at Bunny Zoe's here...I coloured her with Distress inks and glittered her snowball, the stunning papers are from Cosmo Cricket Jolly by Golly range and is called Silly Chilly, lush isn't it...I finished with some fantastic ruffled ribbon, boy was this hard to tie into a bow and snowflake charms...I will add the photo of my guillotines later, keep warm everyone and if your lucky enough to live somewhere warm...enjoy

Ever had one of those days - Sir Stampalot challenge Christmas Traditions + Stamp with Fun Squares + Totally Gorjuss Traditional colours

Good morning everyone did you all have a fab weekend, I had one of those strange days yesterday you know the kind when your heads away with the fairies...everything I touched fell to bits, I spilled a whole pot of glitter over three images and this one took two tries as I spilled coffee on the first finished card just when I was about to photograph it...I gave up and left it for a while scared to do or touch anything else just in case...oh and I don't own any ornaments, Im not keen on them at all, except two my Daughter bought me when she was growing up and two tall glass tea light holders in my bedroom which I put on the windowsill then made the stupid mistake of opening a window...yep you guessed it lol...anyway onto today's card, how fantastic is this Santa stamp I had to buy it when I saw it at the NEC its from Joanna Sheen and is from the Giordano Studio range of stamps and is called Santa arrives, I had brilliant fun colouring it (twice lol) with Distress inks, the gorgeous papers are from the My Minds Eye Holly Jolly Paper and accessories kit from Bunny Zoe's, Im so glad I bought this kit its stunning, the large tag is from the same pack too...I'm entering this for the Sir Stampalot, Stamp with Fun and Totally Gorjuss challenges...now I'm off to hid in a dark cupboard somewhere until the fairies bring my head back...have a brilliant day everyone

Off on her travels - Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam DT + Sweet Sketch Wednesday 71 + Sir Stampalot monthly challenge- Autumn breezes, buttons and a bow

Good morning everyone...are any of you going to the NEC for the craft show in November cause I was thinking of going...thanks for all your fantastically funny answers to my brain frying questions yesterday, I loved them so funny...my card for today is for Mo's Dreamteam DT now who else could this fantastic Anne of Green Gables-Prince Edward Island image be drawn by, isn't she just gorgeous off on her travels with her carpet bag, I coloured her with Distress inks and used the fab sketch from Sweet Sketch Wednesday...the papers are K&Co but I don't know which one I'm afraid and they were loose out of the pad...I finished with some gorgeous satin brown ribbon and a couple of buttons and a tied bow of satin edged ribbon...I'm also entering this for the Sir Stampalot monthly challenge as I think the colours fit, well I hope they do...I hope you like it and have a fab day everyone

a first!-Just Magnolia week 71 Special Monthly Challenge+Sir Stampalot challenge+Fab n Funky Challenge+ Stampin for the Weekend

Good morning everyone and its the first Friday of the month so that means its a Just Magnolia Special monthly challenge and this month is a first for me, the Cracked Glass technique I have never tried this before but I got kinda addicted to the cracking and went way overboard I think lol...for those of you who haven't tried this before have a go what a brill technique it is and if your not sure how to do it here's a link for a great tutorial

but if you really dont want to try this technique you can do the Anything Goes option which from now on our Monthly challenge will be...I used this stunning couple I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, its from the Wedding 2010 collection and is called Loving Bridal Couple, I coloured them with Distress inks which I thought might run when I did the cracked glass but it didn't at all...the amazing paper is from the Basicgrey Granola collection and is called Sunflower, I cut some of the large flowers out and layered them up to give a bit of dimension and added some of my fav lush cream satin ribbon made into a bow and scrunched up, Im entering this for the All Distressed challenge at Sir Stampalot, Stampin for the Weekend Shabby or Vintage challenge and the Fab n Funky material challenge...I hope you like it and will give the challenge a go either the Cracked Glass or Anything Goes option and when you have the time hop on over to see the amazing creations from the rest of our DT...have a fantastically happy day everyone

Our new baby arrived - CLP Challenge Sketch + Sir Stampalot challenge bring on the bling

Good morning everyone...we took delivery of our brand new baby yesterday...our new car arrived, we went for a drive and its so weird that although it a teeny bit less powerful than the last one it feels more powerful...have you anything exciting happening this weekend if you are as I'm a motorbike widow (my husband marshalls roadracing) this weekend go on make me jealous lol...anyway my card for today is using the fabulous sketch at CLP challenge, isnt it a brill one and although its hard to see there's loads of glitter glue on this so I'm entering it in the Sir Stampalot challenge too...I used this fantastic little fella isn't he just a perfect image for a Baby's First Christmas, its called I even love the Box and of course hes from Mo's Digital Pencil, hes coloured with Distress inks...the incredible paper is a double sided one from Sassafras Lass haven't a clue what its called because the scalloped border is actually the reverse of the bottom name edge which I stuck down before realising I hadn't kept the name oops lol...I finished my card with some coloured string from my stash...I hope you like it...whatever your up to today have a brilliant time
Oh and by the way there is no way on this planet my image in a swimmy is appearing anywhere on the net lol

Colour Create Challenge 46 Sharon Choice Baby Pink and Pastel Blue + Sir Stampalot Challenge Punch It + Sketch Saturday week 105

Good morning everyone, we are having a mini heatwave here, well not really it just seems that way as the weather is fabulous, sunny and hot and mmmmmmmmmmm weather, you know the kinda weather that you look out the window with a contented smile and say mmmmmmmmm ...well lets hope it last until December now lol...well my card today is for our new challenge over at Colour Create and I must say thank you all so much for all your stunning entries last week...I'm always amazed at how wonderful they are...this week its our wonderful Sharon's choice of Baby pink and Pastel Blue, yummy summery colours and a perfect excuse for me to use gingham again...I used this stunning new image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Diva and she makes me smile shes so mini diva isn't she...I coloured her with Distress inks, although I'm really not happy at how her hair turned out

the papers are, gingham from craft creations (would you believe this gingham is 35p for a 12x12 sheet) and a scrap of Basicgrey which doesn't have a name on...I punched all the edges and added a sentiment I made on the computer and a satin baby pink ribbon and finished with a spray of gems I bought in a cake decorating shop another bargain at £1.60 for 12 spray (this is using two of them...I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday and because I used punches on it I'm entering it for the new Sir Stampalot challenge and wow have you seen the prize for it...I hope you like it and when you have time pop on over to Colour Create to see the rest of our girlies work and I think there may be new member news there too...enjoy the rest of your day everyone and I hope wherever you are the sunshine makes you go mmmmmmmm too

Colour Create Challenge 45-Denas Choice + Friday Sketchers 102 + Sir Stampalot challenge-Blossoms and Butterflies

Good morning everyone I have a double post today so don't forget to come back and see the Dreamteam blog hop...phew busy day today and I have a class to teach tonight too lol...our challenge this time is a fantastic colour choice by the fabulous Dena of Soft Green and Light Aqua with an added option of Butterflies, I love it Dena thank you...I used this stunning Bubbling Tilda for my card from Bunny Zoe's Crafts isn't she just fabulous
I love colouring this Tilda, its all that hair I think...shes coloured with Distress Inks...the fabulous papers are from a 6x6 paper pad from Papermania (another rummage find) called Rose Garden and how brilliant is that colour combo for our challenge...I used a ribbon and punch for the butterflies from my stash to finish...I used the fab Friday Sketchers sketch and am entering this for the Sir Stampalot challenge of blossoms and butterflies too...I hope you like it and don't forget to give the rest of our fabulous team some love for their stunning creations too
