I can sing a rainbow...

Good morning everyone did you have a nice weekend?...we decided yesterday as my lovely Dad was back from his travels and our Daughter is heading off on hers this week we would have a family dinner so as it was spur of the moment we headed for good old M & S...pasta bake, salad and I baked some new potatoes with garlic, shallots and teeny tomatoes, and then onto dessert, well Dad wanted cheesecake but I couldn't find any Amaretto for the base, then we thought pie but then our Daughters other half doesn't like stewed fruit...so we ended coming home at 4pm and I made the fastest Victoria sandwich cake ever to be filled with strawberry's and whipped cream but would it hell cool down...so I opened the back door and then had to rescue my cakes as two pigeons tried to get in to eat it...that's what you get for feeding the birds isn't it lol...very lush it was too, the meal not the pigeons...it was so lovely to catch up with all my Dads gossip and spend some time with our Daughter and yes my stomach is still churning at the thought of her going away for three weeks...you would think she was 8 not 28 wouldn't you lol...do we ever stop worrying like this?, I think its our job to worry about them...well that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it lol...right now onto my card for today which is for our new monthly challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts Challenge...this month was our fantastic Karina's choice and she chose to use your favourite colour combo...I really don't have an all time favourite combo but atm I'm loving using green, yellow and blue so decided to use that...when I was going through all the colours in my mind I ended up humming that song I can sing a rainbow (bet your humming it now lol)...I used the gorgeous Stampavie Sarah Kay - Tool Time stamp for my card, wow I love this card it just screams summer holidays doesn't it...the amazing papers are from the  Carta Bella - Cool Summer 6x6 Paper Pad fantastic colours aren't they and perfect for my colour combo too...I used a couple of the 5 x Wrench charm pack , a bow made from Organza Ribbon - Lime (25mm Wide) , a few Prima Flowers Perle Bebe - Sun Kiss (boys cards can have flowers too lol) and  Wooden Ornaments for the Birthday boy sentiment...everything I used is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I cant for the life of me remember where this sketch is from but it a goody...I am entering it for the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, Stamping Sensations Challenge and the Joanna Sheen Challenge too...I'm off to town with my Dad today I was meant to be getting a haircut but I forgot to book so keep your fingers crossed I will get one last minuet...whatever your up to have a brilliant one and if you have time please pop by the Bunny Zoe's Crafts challenge to see the amazing makes by our team

the final decision was reached...

Good morning everyone, its ok you don't have to be quiet there's no hangovers here lol...we had a great night, nice meal and company but we didn't stay because it was a combined dinner with loads of other companies having their dinners too...some were getting a little...er....lets say merry...well drunk actually lol and a bit rowdy so we came home early...not really our kind of thing...such a shame that's others had to cut our night short but some people will use any excuse to get that drunk wont they...I had decided on the LBD but then while we were out yesterday I spotted a fab glitzy sparkly gold cardigan and a huge bargain so ended up wearing that, a cream silk vest and trousers and high heeled boots...smart and comfortable...well it was smart until I dripped gravy down the cream vest anyway lol...Phil looked lush in a charcoal coloured suit and a peach coloured shirt, he cleans up well lol, I love to see a man in a suit dont you...my lovely Dad is back from Belfast and we had a little jaunt out with him yesterday to get him some shopping and it was lovely to catch up with him but we didn't have much time and will get some serious coffee chat going on today instead...right now onto my card for today...I think my staz-on ink pad needs topped up as this little sweetie from Stampavie is looking a little faded isn't he...hes called Ruffles a Present for you - Helz Cuppleditch and all Stampavie stamps are a massive 40% off atm so a brilliant bargain too and of course you dont need to use him just for Christmas...I coloured him with distress inks and paper pieced the parcel and ribbon with more of the lush Teresa Collins 6x6" Paper Pad - Christmas Cottage I used for my card...I finished with a gorgeous wired Organza Ribbon - Dark Green (25mm Wide) made into a bow and a cute little button from my stash...everything except the button is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and Nikki has a fabulous Weekend Special this weekend with 15% off across the store so hop on over and grab yourself a bargain or two...the fab sketch is from Try Stampin' on Tuesday challenge and I'm also entering it for the Card Makin Mamas challenge and the Marianne's Design Divas challenge too...right I'm off to make some bacon sandwiches for breakfast...whatever your up to today have a wonderful one

your last chance...

Good morning everyone, how are you all...well and happy I hope...Phil had to work a night shift last night as there was some urgent work needed finished before Tuesday morning and he had to manage it...it was so so strange being alone again for a night, I don't like it and don't want it to happen again (well not often anyway) you would think after ten years I would be used to being on my own and I was I guess but because Phil's home now, I'm getting used to company every night...did you all go aaaaaaaahhhhhhhh you soppy thing Mina, bet you did lol...tell you what I did find myself doing though, talking to the TV and myself again, how mad is that disagreeing with a tv...mind it could be worse it could have disagreed back now that would really mean I was going nuts wouldn't it lol, oh and before I forget today is your last chance to enter my followers candy, so if you havent already hop on down now to join in, you never know do you and you have to be in it to stand a chance of winning...anyway onto my card for today, how beautifully vintage is this fabulous little Stampavie Sarah Kay - Madeline stamp, I love the way she looks like an old photograph don't you...that's why I kept the colours so simple for her I wanted to give her an aged photo look...I coloured her with distress inks and it just goes to show how few colours are needed to get an effect doesn't it...the fantastic papers and the two tags at the sides are from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Almanac paper pad, I'm loving Prima pads atm and I'm so pleased I bought some of the new release ones as they are so beautifully soft and vintage, the pad and stamp are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished with some lace across the middle although you can barely see it, a gingham brown bow and a couple of buttons...the fab sketch is from the Sweet Stop challenge and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Catz challenge and Crafty Creations Challenge too...whatever I'm up to today it will have to be quiet because poor Phil will be catching up with some sleep I think, I might just head out so he gets some peace and quiet...whatever your up to today I hope you have a fantastic one

a christmas teddy and candy news...

Good morning everyone, did you all have a brilliant weekend, ours was very quiet and restful, the kind I like now and again but not every weekend, I think Phil is taking advantage of the quiet as we are off to the Belfast Crafts show next weekend so the poor man will be bored out of his brain, mind its his own fault as I said I'm quite happy going alone, maybe hes scared he will miss something lol...when Phil came hone on Friday night his first job was to clear the biggest squished spider the one I couldn't pick up with the vacuum, and I quote he said 'bloody hell, that's a big un' lol...see I told you it was a biggie...anyway its that time again, time for our new challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly challenge and this month our fabulous Michele's choice and her challenge is lace it up, so use lace somewhere on your creation

I made a kinda 3d sorta card, sorry don't know what its called as I haven't seen it anywhere well except in my head, its three layers two of which have holes cut out, I think it would make a fantastic photo frame don't you...the idea came to me from the papers as the front sheet looks like a book cover...the lush fantastic papers are from the Fancy Pants 6x6 paper pad Saint Nick, now how fantastic is this Stampavie Tina Wenke Holiday Bear just perfect for any Christmas project isn't it, I coloured it with my usual distress inks and added a bit of glitter, I finished my card with some beautiful lace from the Marianne D Vintage white lace pack and a beautiful glittery gem candy cane from my stash...all the goodies for my card except the charm are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I will be back later with some lush new Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly candy so keep an eye out for it...have a wonderful day whatever your up to, I'm going to have a rummage in my craft room to make a list of essentials I need before the weekend...when you have the time pop on over to our challenge blog to see what the rest of our fabulous team have come up with this month

witches can be cute too....

Good morning everyone I hope you all had a fantastic weekend...our family lunch yesterday was so lush, in fact I could eat it again now mmmmmmmm...after lunch my beautiful Daughter asked if I wanted to go shopping with her in town, we rarely get a chance these days as she works so hard bless her so I jumped at the chance little realising that what she really meant was Mum can you stand in Boots for an hour and a half holding all the make up I want while I try more out lol...yep I was the spare pair of hands, you know the job your Husband usually gets, but never mind we got to spend a couple of hours together...my card for today is using this fabulous Magical Meg stamp from the new Stampavie Penny Johnson release at Bunny Zoe's Crafts, isn't she fab, I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced her hat and dress, I was going to colour her little cat black but thought he would get lost amongst all this lush black and white paper...aren't they just so lush they are from the new My Minds Eye Meadowlark 6x6 paper pad, brilliant value considering they are all double sided too, the bow is made from White Web ribbon which I tied in the middle and I finished with some punched stars, a sentiment and a mixture of different size pearls, the lush sketch is the one from our current challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly challenge and I'm entering this for the Simon Says Stamp challenge, Crazy 4 challenges challenge and Papertake weekly challenge too...I haven't a clue what I'm up to today but hope whatever your doing you have fun
