our theme this month is Pink...now I cant resist a bit of pink can you?...I chose to use this fantastic Steffi Sobbing for my card, don't you just love her two front teeth...there's four of these little Crybabies to collect and they are each as cute as the other...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and paper pieced her perfect little outfit with a pretty gingham from an old paper pad from my stash...they are from the Graphic45 Little Darling's pad...I love this stunning pad I bought ages and ages ago and will be gutted when its finished

theres something about spots & stripes...

Good morning everyone are you having a nice week...how horrific was the Boston bombings, I despair of mankind sometimes, what reason could any organisation or terrorist have to bomb runners...the world has gone mad hasn't it?, my heart goes out to those bereaved and the injured and I wish there was some way I could gather them all up and tell them everything is going to be alright...I was sitting colouring yesterday in glorious sunshine, what a difference it makes but how strange is the weather at the moment...we had glorious sunshine all day yesterday and Phil spent hours in the garden when he came home planting loads of flowers and shallots and a creeping rose...it was lovely...then about 7pm a storm came in and the wind went up and we seemed to changed seasons completely...too weird...right now my card for today, I love love love this cutie from the new Magnolia Once Upon a Time collection...this is the fab Tilda as a Clown, I coloured her with my distress inks and paper pieced her outfit and hat with paper from the same pad as the spot and stripes paper I used for the card, there's something about spot and stripes together isn't there and they are perfect for a cute clown don't you think...the papers are from the Echo Park - Sweet Girl 6x6 Paper Pad...this is such a fabulously bright and beautiful pad...I finished my card with a lush wired bow made from Organza Ribbon - Baby Blue (25mm Wide), and a white button...everything I used, except the button is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...brilliant news too Bunny Zoe's Crafts has a stamp sale on atm...the link is below just click on the picture...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering it for the Allsorts Challenge (M for Magnolia and Mina) and That Craft Place Challenge too...another busy busy day today getting loads of stuff ready...our holidays seem to be like operation list atm lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and don't forget about the Bunny Zoe's Crafts sale too

Good morning everyone I hope your having a brilliant week...ok which one of you put the hex on me and said be careful not to trip over those boxes lol...I was packing a box with craft goodies and turned around too quick and yes you guessed it, I went flying across the room over a box, thank goodness for double glazing as I hit the window with a bang but thank goodness just rattled it, my heart was pounding out of my chest I can tell you but all I did really was hit my elbow where I protected my face...so I had Phil move some of the boxes out just to be on the safe side, you all know what a klutz I am don't you...massive apologies for not doing any commenting, I'm so missing my blog hopping, but unless I either give up sleeping or eating it just isn't going to happen atm...so slapped legs for me the bad blogger...I will catch up with you all as soon as I can I promise, am I forgiven?...right now onto today's card with is using this stunning Hannah Lynn digi from Crafts and Me...beautiful isn't she...her name is Easter Lily and I coloured her with distress inks as always...the lush paper is just a scrap of a Fancy Pants Designs paper called Recess from their All Fall collection...great colours isn't it...I added a ceramic sentiment, some buttons and ribbons to finish...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering it for the That Craft Place Challenge and the Bearly Mine Challenge...we are going out for dinner tonight as I just cant get the time or effort to cook...ok I'm just to lazy to cook lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

head hung in shame...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...ok hands up those of you who knew that as soon as I started clearing I would find something to play with instead, I had bag in hand and was just starting with a pile of papers when I found some I had completely forgotten about, next thing I'm on my laptop printing off some digis that would be perfect for them, then Phil's in from work asking 'well how did you get on' oops lol...I'm hanging my head in shame and waiting for one of you lovely people to give me a stiff talking too, it HAS to be done and there's no good getting distracted or wanting to play...one of you please slap my legs and send me to my room (craft room of course) to get it done...I did come to one conclusion though, I will have to throw away hundreds of my cards, there's are boxes and boxes of them and the only place I can put them is in the bin...I have already offered them to charities and was told by one they don't accept square cards and another said yes but they needed to be bagged up and have an envelope with them...they don't want much do they lol...so in the bin they must go isn't that sad, all that work in the bin...anyway while I wait for my telling off lol I will tell you about today's card, this is one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps shes called Wish Upon A Star, I think shes a fantastic image for any occasion not just for Christmas, I added a few pearls to cover her snowflakes to make her a 'not just for Christmas' stamp...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and glittered her up as always, wheres there's wings there's glitter you know lol...the fantastic papers are from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Fairy Belle, stunning pad...I finished with a Kaisercraft stamped sentiment and a huge organza bow, I'm entering this for the Lollipop Crafts Challenge, That Craft Place Challenge and the Simply Create Too challenge...I'm heading for the Craft room again but cant promise anything, things just leap out at me and inspire lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

Good morning everyone before anything else I want to say massive apologies to you all for not visiting in a while, house hunting and invitations seem to have taken over my every spare hour, so by the time I sit down at night I'm shattered, in fact Im sure I met myself in the hall yesterday lol...I promise as soon as the invitations (this week defo) I will be visiting you all, I have so missed my hopping around your fabulous blogs...Phil came home a bit early today and he made me put the invitations aside and go out for a few hours, nowhere special just a little mooch around a shop and out for a loaf and milk but at least it was out and we had a giggle and a coffee then it was back home where I got back to the invitations while my wee darling made dinner, and very yummy it was too, sausage, mash, green beans and onion gravy, I might not tell him when I'm finished the invites if he cooks like that for me when I'm busy lol...anyway my card for today is using this sweet Sugar Nellie Home Grown Birthday Princess isn't she a cutie, I coloured her with distress inks and used this stunning double sided paper from SEI Claire range called Sincere, dont you think this is a really pretty colour combo...I finished with some grey organza ribbon and a few gold tinted Prima flowers...the fab sketch is from the Willow Sketchie challenge and I'm also entering it for the That Craft Place challenge and Lets Ink it up challenge...Im doing some catch up on DT work today then a bit of cooking I think, and you never know I might do a bit of surfing around your blogs, I need an infusion of your inspiration...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

has Spring sprung...

Good morning everyone did you all have a great weekend? I hope you did and where you are the sun shone a bit, it shone here but rained on and off and we even had a few hailstones on Sunday morning (which made Phil swear at the sky as he had just got the lawnmower out to cut our grass for the first time this year), so maybe Spring hasn't sprung just yet...am I wrong or do the clocks change next weekend?...omg how fast is this year flying by...blink and another month nearly gone...I had a lovely day yesterday we went to pick up my Dad before we went to Town and I went in with a bit of anxiety in case his eye looked bad and boy was I right, I expected a little bit of blood in his eye but was shocked at how bloody it was, its bright red with a white ring around his pupil and a beautifully clear blue eye which has his sparkle back in it, he is totally amazed at how much he can see now and gushed about seeing things, including his own wrinkles (goodness knows what he thought of mine lol), I knew I shouldn't have gone up though as I now have a job of cleaning his carpets because he never noticed they were dirty before lol...we went for a mooch in Town had a late dinner and then my Daughter and her other half arrived with pressies and hugs and kisses...so an all in all good one...I hope yours was just as great...my card for today is using this fabulous Alice Mae image from Some Odd Girl, she is stunning to colour and I love colouring stripes don't you, I think these spring colours are perfect for her but might have been a little light handed on her pink dress as you can hardly see it lol...these amazing papers are from the My Minds Eye Miss Caroline - Howdy Doody 6x6 Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, lush papers and perfect spring/summer colours...I finished with some fabulous Sheer Elegance 15mm LIGHT PINK from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop and a couple of roses cut from the papers...the lush sketch is from The Sweet Stop challenge and I'm also entering it for the Ribbon Reel challenge and Paper Sundaes challenge ...we are of to pick up the food processor Phil wanted today and hes already talking about recipes for using it so watch this space...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope the sun shines for you
