one down...one to go...

Good morning everyone are you all having a good week?...well at long long last we finally got the kitchen Christmas tree up and decorated...theres a picture below...thanks for thinking the photo yesterday was my tree, I wish I was that good at decorating one lol...it was actually an advertisement photo for the Sugar Nellie candy...after we had finished the kitchen one we decided we were on a roll and went on the lounge one...but it wasn't to be, the lights aren't working so it will have to wait until I get a new set today sometime...I spent the afternoon in my craftroom staring at paper and image, nope nothing happening I have a distinct lack of mojo atm...I don't know why maybe its because my mind is on other things...I will have to find a way to kickstart it though asap as I have loads of things to make for DT's...I hate lacking in mojo don't you it makes you feel helpless and when nothing come from staring at my lush papers theres something wrong there, especially considering Im a paper freak, if papers don't inspire me nothing will...well hurry back mojo I need you, if you find it send it home please...

right now onto my card for today, I love this fantastic Sassy Studio Designs digi don't you, she really is sassy...this is the beautiful Reindeer Games...I coloured her with distress inks and glittered just about anything I could lol...I'm loving the glitter atm and lets face it Christmas is the perfect excuse for glitter isn't it...the lush papers are from the Glitz 6x6" Paper Pack - Pretty in Pink paper pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...gorgeous patterns and pink it doesn't get much better lol...I finished with some fabulously pink ribbon from my stash, a few punched snowflakes and some pearls...the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday and I'm also entering it for the Papertake Weekly challenge ,Simon Says Stamp challenge and the Digital Tuesday challenge...I'm off out to buy lights and a few more little stocking filler gifts today and of course a 'put the world to rights coffee' with my lovely Dad too...I will hopefully be back with another card tomorrow mojo willing...I have my fingers firmly crossed...whatever your up to today do me a favour and have a look under your beds for my mojo if you find it send it home please lol

Lilac angels rule...

Good morning everyone do you have anything exciting planned for today?...we had loads of plans, we were heading to Belfast, shopping, lunch, a visit to Ikea a look at the Christmas light and a visit with my Sister but it all went out the window because Phil got called into work and it looks like he will be there most of the day...oh well plans are meant to be broken aren't they and I don't get annoyed about things that cant be helped...life's too short...we had a lovely night at the light switch on last night but boy oh boy was it cold, I thought at one stage that my nose had dropped off and I'm sure I heard the thud when it hit the pavement lol...the children in the procession to the tree were wonderful, each dressed in such beautiful colourful sparkly costumes...and Santa of course but instead of reindeer he had two massive shire horses...it was lovely to watch and really magical, but would you believe I forgot my camera, gutted... right now onto my card for today...doesn't this little darling in lilac and blue just rule...shes adorable...she is of course a Saturated Canary image and I coloured her with distress inks and of course followed the crafting rule that wings have to be glittered...well how could I resist...shes called Christmas Angel and doesn't she go perfectly with these lush papers from the Echo Park - Winter Wishes pad although this fab pad is a Christmas one I think the colours are so pretty they would work brilliantly any time of the year and I love pads you can use anytime and not just for an occasion don't you, this pad is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...we paper crafters have to be a bit thrifty don't we...I finished my card with some lush lilac ribbon from my stash and a sentiment cut from the same pad...the fab sketch is from Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge and I'm also entering it for the Digital Tuesday Challenge and the Charisma Cardz challenge too...so now all our plans for today are out the window I haven't a clue what I'm up to today...it might just be a quiet sorting Christmas decorations day ready for tonight's great 'great putting up trees challenge' night tonight...if I get a chance to take any I will post some photos of our trees tomorrow...if not it will be next week...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one and I hope all your plans go right

Happy 4th July to all our American Cousins...

Good morning everyone and happy 4th July to all of you who celebrate it, I hope you have a fantastic day, I would love to know what you all do to celebrate the 4th July...well I decided to take your advice and chill and go with the flow where my mojo is concerned, I just grabbed the first papers I came to and the first image and made a card...so still mojoless but at least making something...I got a lovely surprise yesterday, Phil arrived home at 11am and said get ready I'm taking you out for lunch, its things like this that make him being home for good so special, I still cant believe how lucky we are to be together full time now...don't get me wrong his little ways take some getting used (as I'm sure mine do for him) lol but we are getting there and enjoying each others company...now a little moan why on earth would an estate agents advertise a house and then tell you that you cant view it until the 1st September, seriously what is the point of putting it on now then????...does that make no sense to you either or is it just me being picky lol...right now onto my card for today how cute and pretty is this sweetie from Mo's Digital Pencil, shes called Big Shoes B and is the ethnic version, I told you I would do more darker skin tone images didn't I...I don't think I did her skin dark enough and although they are darker skinned I still used the same distress inks as usual to colour her...I teamed her up with more of these lush Bazzill Basics 6x6" Multipack - Vintage Marketplace from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I love these lush papers, I finished my card with some lush coloured seam binding and a layered flower from my stash (I think its K&Co)...the fabulous sketch is from Mojo Monday and I'm also entering it for the Creatalicious challenge and Digital Tuesday challenge too...haven't a clue what I'm up to today but I'm not going to stress about creating anything at all...will just go with the flow be laid back and chill, am I sounding convincing yet lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic stress free day and have fun if your celebrating

splish splash...

Good morning everyone, I hope your weather is better than we have...we had all four seasons yesterday even snow and hail...nice to see Spring has arrived lol, I think the weather was the inspiration for my card today...I had a semi successful crafting day, one of those two step forwards one step back kinda days I got a few things done but not as many as I wanted, I even had a really early night last night 10pm would you believe that's unknown for me to go to bed before 1am...I was shattered by 8pm and could have gone to bed then, so cup of chamomile tea in hand of I popped with the best of intentions to watch a movie in bed I saw about 10 min's of it lol...right now onto my card for today inspired by our wonderful Spring weather, I used this amazing Singin' in the Rain image from Mo's Digital Pencil, isn't she beautiful, that umbrella and raincoat just cried out to be paper pieced didn't they, I know I'm a bit of a Mo freak but this one has just the perfect little face doesn't it...I coloured the rest of her with distress inks...the fabulous papers I think are from a DCWV paper pad, I was just attracted to the colours, they suit her don't you think...the letters are from the same pad I think, well they match anyway...I finished the card with a load of different ribbons and a bow made with 15mm Organza Ribbon LIGHT PINK from the Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, this ribbon has a lovely stiff feel to it, perfect for bows and holds its shape fantastically...the fabulous sketch is from Digital Tuesday challenge and I'm also entering it for the My Mums Craft shop challenge and Papertake Weekly challenge...I'm off to give myself a shake and a shower because my glasses fell off again yesterday, at least it wasn't down the toilet this time but just into my lunch, so I'm off to the opticians to get them tightened and reshaped...whatever your up to have a brilliant one

two tutu's are better than one...

Good morning everyone are you up to anything exciting this weekend?...go on tell us all and make us jealous...well I finally broke my enforced solitude (oooohhhhh doesn't that sound dramatic this early on a Saturday morning) I needed washing powder so went shopping, had a little mooch and even treat myself to a Burger King, I came home made a cuppa got changed and went to put on the washing and........no washing powder, would you believe I forgot what I went out for...duh...so had to get dressed again and go out to buy some, I met a friend who works in the local shop and she said I could have sworn you were in here before'...I just laughed and moved on quickly, well we don't want everyone knowing I have a hole in the back of my head where my memory drains out do we, I know you lovely lot wont tell anyone lol...anyway onto my card for today, how gorgeously cute are these two sweeties...they are called Two Tutus and are of course from Mo's Digital Pencil, I coloured them and added a little bit of glitter (well they do have wings you know), isn't this paper just lush its one of the ones I found stashed when I did my cleanup, I cant believe I forgot about that fab pile of paper and there's still about a dozen sheets to use...this one is a double sided Fancy Pants paper from their Summer Soiree collection called Beach House, fantastic colours isn't it...I added some fab sheer ribbon and a bow, a few gorgeous coloured roses and a little tag from my stash to finish...the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday and I'm also entering it for the Digital Tuesday Challenge and Cute Card Thursday Challenge too...I ha vent a clue what my gorgeous Phil and I will be up to today but whatever it is I'm making a list just in case...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

watch out for falling roses and sticky buttons...

Good morning everyone, did you all have a wonderful Valentines Day...go on make us all jealous with the showers of gifts you all got...I had a quiet day but did loads of crafting so see I did get off my butt and do something today lol...I made four cards and was just finishing this one and the three buttons I had chosen went missing, now remember my craft room is tidy now and no matter how hard I searched the floor I couldn't find them...so I decided to go get something to eat before I finished it and when I stood up the buttons were stuck to my bum (that will teach me to put the sticky on before they are needed), now how on earth...I know its big but not big enough to sweep the floor lol...the moral of this tale is if something goes missing when your crafting check your bum, you never know...right now onto my card for today using this beautiful Some Odd Girl digi called Brella Fairy, I won three digis from The Ribbon Carousel challenge so chose this beauty and two other that you will see soon as I cant resist colouring them, I coloured her with distress inks and added a little bit of glitter on her wings...now how lush is this Cosmo Cricket paper, when I tidied up my room I found a box full of what I thought were scraps and in the bottom there were about 12 sheets of 12x12 papers I bought about a year ago and this was one of them...how shocking is that, I need a good shake I think...this is a double sided sheet from the De Lovely collection and is called DeLirious...stunning colours isn't it and I love the teeny little roses...I didn't add anything except the three buttons and stamped a sentiment from Kaisercraft on one of the circles...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering it for the Digital Tuesday challenge my stash is my year old paper)...well I so enjoyed my crafting day today I'm going to have another today, a good colour and play does you the world of good doesn't it...whatever your up to today watch out for wandering buttons
