I think this little fella needs a cuddle - Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteam DT card + Totally Gorjuss challenge 59 - Sketch

Good morning everyone I hope your all snug and warm, the snow hit here with a vengeance yesterday we had about 35cm in one morning and its bleeding freezing bbbbbbrrrrrrrr....we had put a new fat ball (a ball mixture of fat, seeds and grain for the birds) out on Sunday and I was watching the birds feed and thinking thank goodness I didn't have to go out in that snow to hang one when a robin flew onto it and was feeding, I love robins don't you...when he had finished for some weird reason he decided to land on the ground and promptly disappeared into the snow the daft thing, I was torn between giggling and going out to see if he was alright but he flew up shook himself and boogied on out of there...daft thing that he is lol...I hope none of you need a cuddle as much as this poor little fella from Mo's Digital Pencil, I bet quite a few of you went aaaaahhhhhhh when you saw him isn't he gorgeous, the image is called Needs Mummy and hes just perfect to colour, I used distress inks, I teamed him up with some of the new Basicgrey Marjolaine papers, this one is double sided and called Tuxedo Pie, I cut a couple of the flowers from the papers and layered them with a button, the green ribbon is from my stash...I used the fab sketch from Totally Gorjuss challenge for my card...I'm off to hibernate for a while in the hope the snow disappears, have a snuggly day everyone and if you live somewhere hot go on make us jealous lol

always do what your teeny inner voice tells you - Papertake Weekly sketch 51 + Saturday challenge #112 Christmas + Stamp Something Christmas colours

Good morning everyone I hope you are all well and happy...well you told me I should have taken notice of that little voice telling me not to go Christmas shopping didn't you...the town was manic, not a lot of Christmas joy or cheer about and the shops felt like they were giving things away they were so packed I don't think my elbows are sharp enough for that kind of shopping you know, too much padding on them lol, I think from now on it will be online Christmas shopping or midweek quieter time, did you see I won one of the advents over at Belles and Whistles advent giveaway....wwwoooohhhhooooo...well now onto my card for today and I have a secret for you...sssshhhhhhhhh don't tell anyone but I hate using my red distress inks, I'm fine with every other colour but the red always seems to take so much work to get the look I want and if my fingers are even slightly damp the red smears everywhere when I'm making the card, that's why I'm quite chuffed with today effort, how cute are these baubles and Holly and Berry images from CC Designs, these are digis but if you fancy the stamps Nikki has the Holly and Berry one in at Bunny Zoe's and they are on sale at the min too, Nikki has a huge 25% discount sale on all her Christmas goodies so hop on over as they will fly out...so what you waiting for...well maybe read the rest of this first then...the amazing glossy circle and striped papers are from Kaisercraft and the gorgeous lush woven ribbon is another NEC buy, I made my card using the Papertake weekly lush sketch and Im entering it for the Saturday challenge and Stamp Something too...right I have waffled on enough today so I will leave you in peace...Just Inklined is having a blog hop tomorrow and I'm a special guest on it so speak to you then have a wonderful frost free Sunday everyone

report from the midnight biner - Double post day Just Magnolia challenge week 84-Anything goes plus sparkle + Crafty Catz Guest DT spot-Happy New Year

Good morning firstly wow a huge thanks for all your wonderful comments yesterday on my card, I love those digi's don't you, so beautifully drawn, I promise I will get round to your fab blogs to comment as soon as I can...at about midnight last night I remembered I hadn't put the rubbish bin out for the refuse men in the morning so one look outside and a shudder later I'm upstairs dressing for the antarctic, I had my pj's on two pairs of socks a pair of boots, my artic fleece, pink fluffy dressing gown and a green scarf, I'm slip sliding about dragging this huge black bin out to the end of the drive, managed to keep my footing until I stepped back in the house and whoosh and one bruised bum later sitting in a heap on the floor and I catch a glimpse of myself in the glass doors looking like the multicoloured mitchelin man, I couldn't get up for laughing, moral of this tale remember to put the bin out earlier in the day lol...its a double post day today so forgive the long post....first is my Just Magnolia challenge card which this week is an anything goes challenge with a touch of sparkle...I chose this fab Edwin, I don't think hes used enough do you

I coloured him with distress inks and teamed him up with some of the new Basicgrey Marjolaine, the spotted is called Buttercream and the check is Molten cake, the stunning puffed glittery letters are Thicker's and I'm so proud of the snowflakes as these are the first I have made from acetate and covered in glue and glitter, messy but so worth it I think, the sketch is from Simon says challenge and I'm also entering this for the Stampin for the Weekend Winter challenge (oops too late)

Right now my second card is for the fab Crafty Catz challenge 61, Happy New Year where the lovely Suzie kindly asked me to do a Guest spot and I jumped at the chance

I used this Mo's Digital Pencil Reach for the Stars image which is perfect for New Year I think, I also did a little word art on it to put the Happy New Year logo on his sash, hes coloured with Distress inks and I teamed him up with this Craft Creations paper which is so glittery in real life but really doesn't show up too well on here...all I needed to finish was a stunning gingham ribbon and one of my swirly bows (you fed up seeing these yet lol)

I'm also entering this for the Cute Card Thursday-The Blues challenge...when you have time hop on over to Just Magnolia challenge and Crafty Catz to check out what the rest of the super talented DT's have come up...wow stunning work as always...have a fantastic dry booty day everyone and thanks for bearing with me through the long post
