Good morning everyone, how have you all been while I was away, give me all the gossip...we had a fab time and the weather was beautiful except for the last two days then there was dramatic lightening storms and lots of rain...I watched lightening bouncing off the sea, what an incredible sight but no matter how hard I tried I never managed to catch it on film so I don't have anything that dramatic to show you, the resort was so so quiet but very pretty and I liked it although like everywhere else its suffering from the global recession and loads of businesses and hotels were closed and for sale, very sad to see so many peoples dreams just gone like that isn't it, but a sign of our times, I took some photos so will post them later in the week when I'm feeling up to it, I still have a very icky tum I wont gross you out with all the details though but luckily its coming up not the other way lol...ok which one of you fiddled with blogger while I was away, I come back and its changed to the new format thingy...I don't like it do you, or maybe its just a case of getting used to it...right now onto my card for today which I luckily had made before I went away as I'm not up to creating yet...this gorgeous little sweetie is of course from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called Baby Angel Muriel isn't she just adorable, I coloured her with distress inks and paper pieced the bauble in the same papers I used for the card...they are from the stunning My Mind's Eye - All is Bright 6x6 Pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts I love this pad, the designs are fabulously festive without being twee if you know what I mean and the colours are a little unusual but work beautifully together...I finished my card with a couple of ribbons and a little silver tab, Im entering this for the Simon Says Stamp challenge, Dynamic Duos challenge (I added blue) and the Creative Inspirations challenge...I'm off back to bed after taking more medicine wish me luck with the medicine lol...whatever you are up to today I hope you all have a brilliant one

Good morning everyone did you all have a wonderful weekend?...I think we have finally recovered from our trip thank goodness, we had a little mooch around Town yesterday and went out for a lush lunch at a great little bistro...yummy food and the most amazing decor as its also a shop what I would call knicky knacky shop, you know one of those places that sells nothing you need but everything you would love to own...gorgeous pictures especially but astronomically expensive...when we came out there was a mini storm going on, the winds were swirling and it just ripped my umbrella out of my hand and when we got back to the car it was covered in a film of sand????...we are about 5 miles from the sea so go figure where that came from, what on earth is next raining frogs???...anyway onto my card for today which is for our new monthly challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts challenge, this month the theme is a really easy one of Anything Goes, so whatever you would like really...I chose this stunning Tilda from the new Summer Memories collection called Rose Garden Tilda, isn't she stunning, I'm loving these new ones they are a little bit smaller and more delicate feeling than the normal Tilda's and beautiful to colour...I used distress inks for mine and teamed her up with these stunning Magnolia papers called Rose Garden (rose one) and Sage Kitchen Cloth (check one) aren't they beautiful...the stamp and paper is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...I finished with a checked ribbon and one of the roses cut from the paper (I love doing this any excuse to cut things up lol)...the fab sketch is from Creative Inspirations challenge and I'm also entering it into the last ever CES Challenge and the Lovely hAnglar & Sweet Magnolia challenge too...I'm having a crafting day today my scissors are crying out to me to cut more things up, so I'm going to fish out all the lush papers and ribbons I have bought over the last few weeks...btw did you all enter my ribbon candy, they really are fantastic ribbons and there is loads of them...its on the post below...whatever your up to today watch out for the frogs

Good morning everyone, did you all have a fabulous weekend?...well did you all like my candy?...its a goodie isn't it, I was quite chuffed with it even if I say so myself...well on Saturday my wonderful Phil asked where I fancied going, I shrugged and said anywhere you want, so we got in the car and he drove to a wonderful stately gardens near to where we live and pulled into the car park, I'm sitting there thinking...ok so what now???...he got out and into the boot and brought out a wonderful picnic with tapas and dessert and drinks and he even brought forks, knives and napkins, he must have got up really early to prepare it as I was up at 9.30 and with him all night before...we had a wonderful meal and then walked around the gardens and grounds then afternoon tea in the gardens, it was wonderful...now I love my Phil to bits but he isn't romantic or spontaneous at all and never has been, which I didn't mind as you know when you have a good un don't you so that meant so so much to me than just an afternoon out...how lucky am I...we then went into town and found a shop that does house clearances and had a mooch around, I found a fab dressing table and a sorta sideboard thingy, all mucky and needs work but at £40 for the two now you cant say no can you lol, then we met up with our Daughter and her other half and arranged to go shopping on Sunday...so you could say we had a fantastic weekend I think...right that's quite enough waffling so onto my card which is for the TeddyBo Challenge which is to make a shaped card, I used this amazing Teddybea called Daisy Chain isn't she so pretty, I coloured her with distress inks and teamed her up with these amazing papers from the 6x6 Bo Bunny paper pad called Gabrielle from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I even cut the butterflies from the same pad...aren't they just lush papers, the sentiment I think is from Whiff of Joy...I'm also entering this into the Creative Inspirations Cute Bears challenge and the Crafty Calendar Things with Wings monthly challenge too...right I have taken up enough of your time so I wish you all a wonderful day and don't forget if you haven't entered my candy yet its just below this
