Just Magnolia week 53 - Bevs sketch + Simon says Stamp challenge - Buttons, bows and bling

Good morning everyone and its Friday so you know what that means dont you...yes time for our new Just Magnolia challenge, wow you all loved last weeks and we had a huge number of entries, thank you all so much for entering, this week the challenge is a fabulous sketch by our wonderful Bev and boy is it a great one so hope you will all join in again....I used my gorgeous little Ballerina Tilda I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and they are in stock at the moment too...I coloured her with Distress Inks and paper pieced her dress and glittered her shoes and tiara...the incredible papers I bought from The scrapbookstore in Dublin arnt they stunning, they are Jenni Bowlin Designs and the red and black flowered is called Grandmas Apron and the text one is Vintage Red Bookprint...I love them...I added some glittered mess ribbon and a bow and a mixture of red plain and glittered buttons, Im also entering this into the Simon Says Stamp challenge...I hope you like it and wait until you hop on over to Just Magnolia and have a look at our amazing teams creations...enjoy your Friday everyone

Mojo Monday - 136

Good morning everyone, Im still getting the hang of my new camera and still battling to get the light and colour true, no luck so far though the brown is much more chocolaty and the green much more vivid than the photo shows but never mind...my very quick card for today is for Mojo Mondays new challenge, wow I love their sketches so much, I used this stunning little house mouse stamp I won from the fabulous Lorraines Simon says Stamp candy, the one she has every fortnight for the challenges...I coloured the image with Distress inks, the macro is so detailed on this camera I must remember to not do anymore fast cards as it shows all the mistakes lol...arnt these Cosmo Cricket Earth Love collection and this one is called Recycle...I finished with some chocolate ribbon and bow and a couple of gold pins with heart shaped glass beads on them...I hope you like it and enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Truly Scrumptious DT card - Challenge 31 - Hidden Message

Good morning everyone, well as it was going to cost more to fix my camera than the new one cost I plumped for the new one and no it had nothing to do with my love of gadgets lol...its a fab Fujifilm scarlet red camera but will take a little practice with, I took these photographs at 7.30p. last night and the light was awful but they came out fine dont you think...I have a feeling we will get on well....anyway onto todays card which is for our new Challenge over at Truly Scrumptious which is a stunning sketch and the optional extra challenge is to design the layout so that the tag shaped element slides out to reveal a hidden message or sentiment, my tag is in the photo below... I used this gorgeous little fairy which is from a set called Fairy 1 and would you believe its from Pergamano...I coloured her with distress inks and glittered her wings and shoes, the stunning papers are from the Basicgrey Kioshi paper pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...lush colours...I finished with some satin ribbon and buttons from my stash...I hope you like it and if you have time have a look at what the rest of the Truly Scrumptious DT have made...beautiful creations...enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Roses on Paper Challenge 36-Sketch + Quixotic Challenges 22-Make a Splash + Crafty Angels Week 32-Summer

* I HAVE A NEW CAMERA YIPPPPPEEEEEE!!!! *
Well another day and still no fixed camera, I'm off down the town later to post some letters and see if I can get it fixed...but I will either have it fixed or come back with a new one...why...cause I'm totally addicted to gadgets that's why lol

...anyway onto today's card which is for the Roses on Paper challenge which is the fab sketch, Quixotic Challenges and Crafty Angels challenge...the incredibly gorgeous image is of course Belles and Whistles coloured with Distress Inks and glittered which you can barely see because of the rubbish photo...the stunning papers are from the Basicgrey Wisteria paper pad, the pad and stamp I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts... I was really surprised at this Wisteria paper pad as I thought it would be all purples and lilacs but its not and I love it...I finished the card with some pale blue pearl string and a sentiment from a Melissa Frances tag book and an organza bow...I will replace the photos later when I get back with my new....er...repaired camera lol...enjoy the rest of your day everyone

Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge 100 Happy Birthday + Dare you to Digi stamp Challenge 36 Flowers

Sorry about the late posting but to cut a long story short never ever lend your good camera to someone, excuse the photograph as Im having to use an old camera as mine is now broken aaaaarrrrrggggghhhhh...now I will remain calm and Happy Monday everyone (deep breath)...my card for today is for A Spoon full of Sugar and Dare you to digi stamp challenges and I used this amazing image from Mo's Digital Pencil, isnt she just the perfect image for a young woman or teenager...I coloured her with Distress Inks and the fab papers are from The Fancy Pants paper pack I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and I finished with a selection of Prima flowers centred with roses and a ceramic sentiment...I hope you like it and sorry no macro shot as my old camera dosent have one....now Im off to throw some things about lol...enjoy the rest of your Happy Monday everyone

Simon says Challenge-Something with wings + Papertake weekly Challenge 39-A sketch + Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge-Distressing

Good morning everyone isn't it wonderful to see the sun shining, I hope you all had a great Saturday afternoon and are going to have a wonderful restful Sunday too...my card for today is for Simon Says Challenge, Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and using the fabulous sketch from Papertake weekly too...I used one of my new Fairytale Tilda's and wow I think I'm in love...isn't she just gorgeous, shes called Bubbling Tilda, my ink pad still needs reinked so shes a little faded but matches the distressing I think, isn't it great to see Tilda's nose and mouth too and wow that hair is just amazing to colour, I bought my new Tilda's from Bunny Zoe's Crafts and they are in stock now not just preorder either...shes coloured with Distress inks which Bunny Zoe's stocks too

I love these stunning papers arnt they just lush, I bought this Pink Paislee Queen Bee 6x6 paper pad while I was in Dublin from Annamarie the woman who runs the classes, she has a great site called TheScrapBookStore, she brings loads of goodies to the classes so of course these arnt all I bought lol...the sentiment is from the Queen bee punchouts sheet so and I stamped the sentiment...I finished with some bias binding in grey/blue, that's the stuff you use to bind seams on dresses etc and its so cheap and a fab linen fabric, and I added some pins threaded with beads and a green heart...I hope you like it and enjoy your Sunday everyone

Whiff of Joy Challenge 76-Bevs Sketch + Stamp Something-Charmed Something

Good morning everyone well I'm back from my travels and had a fab time at the Dublin class they are such a brilliant bunch of woman and Annamarie is so lovely too...cant wait to go back again...ohhhhh and I bought goodies from Annamarie too so will show you them tomorrow and next week...my angel of a husband drove me to the class and sat patiently reading his Jeremy Clarkson book giggling away to himself in the corner, he even helped me set up and clean up...we even spent the three hour car journey home giggling and laughing he is such a treasure and I love him to bits but ssssshhhh don't tell him I told you so lol...well I hope you all had a fantastic week and Im catching up with all your fab blogs...my card for today is for the Whiff of Joy Challenge, I couldn't resist that sketch by Bev now could I and also for the Stamp Something challenge which is to use charms...I used one of the city girls and coloured her with Distress inks and paper pieced her with the check paper, now these papers are amazing, well I say paper they are card and from the DCWV Natural collection from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I bought the half pack as its brilliant value and I love the designs and they mix and match with so many colours too...I added some suede tie which was attached to some table mats I bought, see never throw anything away and finished with a bow and charms and two fabulous Prima roses...I hope you like it and now I'm off to play with my new Magnolias which arrived while I was away...enjoy your Saturday everyone

Just Magnolia Challenge 51 - Anything goes + Sketch Saturday week 99

Good morning everyone and its that time of week again, yes you guessed it Just Magnolia challenge time, wow we had a fantastic amount of entries last week, thank you all so much...this week the challenge is Anything Goes so anything at all you want as long as it included at least one Magnolia image, my card this week is using this gorgeous little frog prince from the new kit I have been dying to use him and I teamed him up with the oh so pretty leaning Tilda from the same kit and I used the fabulous sketch from Sketch Saturday, I love all those circles, the images are coloured with distress inks and the amazing papers are from Panduro and are called Kitchengarden/Tilda isn't that strange even though they have nothing to do with Magnolia...anyway they are beautiful and the stripe is from the same pad, I used a glittered sentiment from Heide Swapp and some stunning flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts who is our sponsor this week and the sentiment I printed on the computer, I also added some leaves punched from the same stripe paper...I hope you like it...I will be back this evening so normal service and commenting will be resumed as soon as possible...don't forget to hop on over to Just Magnolia and see what our amazing team has come up with

Colour Create Challenge 43-Karens Choice Burnt Orange, Black and Cream + Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge 26

Good morning everyone and wow how many of you wonderful people entered Colour Create last time, I'm so pleased you liked the colours I chose...this time over at Colour Create its the fabulous Karen's turn so she chose the brilliant combo of Burnt Orange, Black and cream with an added option of using checks...I love this combo its just so rich and yummy...I used this beautiful digi stamp from Spesch Digi stamps Etsy Shop I love them and they are stunning digi stamps and of course I had to buy a few more, I coloured her with my usual Distress Inks, the fab sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp Challenge and the orange paper is by Basicgrey but I cant remember which pad its from, the black scroll acetate is velvet and is from the Fancy Pants paper pack from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I finished with a black velvet ribbon and some pearls in black and cream...I hope you like it and if you have time pop on over to Colour Create and have a look at the fabulous creations by the rest of the team

One of my Demo samples

Good morning everyone, I dont have a challenge card for you this morning but just wanted to show you one of the card I made for the demo day I took part in a few weekends back...the reason I wanted to show you was because I love it when I manage to use Christmas stamps at other time dont you...this little beauty is one of the past christmasses Tildas and I teamed her with some checked and gingham paper from my scraps box, some glittery buttons and gingham wide ribbon...I hope you like it

Good morning everyone, Im off on my travels this morning, Im taking a few days to teach a class in Dublin and spending some time with my lovely husband too...so although there will be cards for the next four days I wont be here technically...well I know what I mean lol...anyway onto todays card I used the fabulous sketch by Peggy over on Mo's Challenge blog...I used this perfect little Henrys Little Lamb from Mo's Digital Pencil for my card and coloured them with Distress inks, the amazing glittered and embossed papers are from my Linen Closet paper pad from DCWV I bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, stunning arnt they...I finished with some cream satin ribbon and a mixture of Prima flowers and leaves...I hope you like it and enjoy the rest of your day

Friday Sketchers Challenge 98 + My Followers candy Winner

Good Morning everyone and Happy Monday to you all...I have still not caught up on my blogging but managed to visit about 60 blog for challenges last night and will do more today promise...my card for today is for the Friday Sketchers Challenge which is another fantastic sketch, I love the layers on this one...the image is beautiful isn't she but I think my ink pad needs re inked because she looks a bit faded, shes one of the Twinkle Tots from the Greeting Farm and shes coloured with Distress inks as usual, the stunning papers are Basicgrey Wisteria from the 6x6 paper pad, the papers and stamp I bought from Bunny Zoe's crafts...the roses were a bargain buy from the show at 50p a bunch, ooohhhh I love a bargain don't you...well if you scroll down the winner of my candy is below

Now I had no idea how I was going to pick a number and find the person from the amazing numbers of followers I'm so lucky to have and I so wish I could give you all a prize...so I decided I would pick one of the favourite cards of mine I have made and then use the number generator to pick someone and check they were a follower, it seemed the easiest and fairest way....here's the card I chose...and the number was no 5 which makes my follower winner........

Lili of the Valley-Sketch + Stamp Something Challenge-layered + Quixotic Challenge-Metal + Totally Gorgeous-Charm

Good morning everyone and I'm so sorry I'm way behind with my blogging but will do my best to get caught up before taking a few days off to teach a class in Dublin...I had a great time with Liza yesterday at the Belfast show and even met up with a couple of my ladies from Dublin (yyyooohhooo girls)... I took a few photos of the stash I bought but they didn't turn out well so I will take some more and post one later, the close ups of today's card didn't turn out either so I only have one photo to show you for now...today's card is for LOTV Challenge which is a fabulous sketch by my mate Bev and its also for Totally Gorjuss, Quixotic Challenge and Stamp Something challenge too...the fab little girl is another of my new hAnglar stamps, I love them and shes coloured with Distress Inks and the incredible papers are from the Cosmo Cricket Material Girl paper pad I bought from Bunny Zoe's crafts, isn't it just stunning...I cut some of the flowers out and added a ribbon, bow and the gorgeous little girl charm, isn't she a sweetie...I hope you like it and I hope you have a fabulous

My Thank you Candy - For my existing followers only

Good morning everyone...did you all enjoy the Just Magnolia blog hop yesterday well theres no card today but heres the Thank you candy I promised this candy is only for my followers as of last night, which was 684 when I went to bed so if your not already a follower Im afraid you will have to wait until the next candy (which wont be long I promise), this is just a little thank you so much for the followers I already have.
