one cute indian...

Good morning everyone...ok own up who did it then?, who gave me the dreaded lurgy then...I knew I shouldn't have mentioned sore throats and bugs...its like the word 'barbecue' you can guarantee if you say it there will no longer be the weather for it...I have some sort of virus or something, headache, sore throats, temperature up and down like a lift, the works...'cough cough' do you feel sorry for me yet (I dont really have a cough just put that in for effect), if not I can prattle on a bit more about it...had enough? lol...I had a brilliant night catching up with loads and loads of your wonderful blogs last night...loved every second of it, I don't get enough time to do it lately though and miss it so much...its definitely getting warmer here, do you want to know how I know, promise not to laugh though...butter!...we use real Irish butter (of course) and when its getting warmer its much easier to spread lol...right enough butter weather reports onto my card for today...how cute is this fabulous little stamp from Nellie Snellen, the cutest little Indian I have ever seen...shes called Prickly (YORE010) I coloured her to match and teamed her up with these beautifully soft papers from the Kaisercraft - Pink Gelato 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad, the sentiment tag is from the same pad too...I finished with some rich orange ribbon and an organza bow, the gorgeous orange resin flowers are from the Blossoms - Resin Flower Dahlia everything except the ribbons are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, the fab sketch is from Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge, Simon Says Stamp challenge and the Party Time Tuesday challenge , I have no idea what I'm up to today but my blanket and sofa calls to me atm so might be a 'feel sorry for myself and lie around day', if anybody want the virus I have feel free to email me I'm happy to pass it on, I'm generous like that lol...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

Mina sounds like you had the same thing as me. Ohhh it was horrible! This card is so cute. It reminds me of when I was wee and I used to ask my wee Mammy to put my hair in plaits the same as the Indians. But as I was only 2 and couldnt say Indian, I used to ask her to and I quote "Put my hair in the same way as the Enteens". I remember saying it too.....I kid you not!! Lee x

Oh she IS such a cutie, Mina. Lovely card! Not sure about your Irish butter weather report. Doesn't your fridge maintain the same temperature regardless of the outside temp? Hope you have enjoyed snuggling under a warm blankey on the sofa and hope you feel better soon. Hugs, Lesley

Hi Mina - I hope you're feeling better by now!
Glad your butter's getting softer LOL! That takes me back to my childhood, and having to warm the butter before you could spread it - those were the days!
Your card is gorgeous - that little indian is so cute.
Love, Andrea xx

Feel better Mina. That yucky stuff is going around here too! Our butter is getting very soft again too! Just hope it doesn't get to the melting stage too fast. We tend to have some long hot humid summers here. This is the cutest Indian. Hugs

Hi Mina, she is adorable , love your card, but you can keep the lurgy thanks lol. I hope you feel better very soon. So glad your butter is easier to spread ...... if it was here in Queensland Australia it would be just a pool in the dish rofl. Take care.
Hugs Cheryl
