Good morning everyone I hope your all well...well I'm still being a recluse and didn't go out yesterday I think I need to give myself a really good shake or one of you need to give me a slap or two lol...the good thing is I'm having fun colouring and playing while I'm reclusive, although I have done a bit of cleaning too, I even scrubbed out one of the bathrooms and bent down to put bleach in the loo and plop went my glasses, the air was blue and that wasn't cleaning products but my language lol...I suppose it could have been a lot worse and not been bleach they were covered in but we will gloss over that thought...see I knew cleaning wasn't good for you, I hate the smell of bleach and no matter how hard I scrubbed my glasses they still smell a bit of it...I really need some fresh air now don't I...right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Just Magnolia & hAnglar & sTanglar challenge...this week its our lovely Suzan's choice and she chose 'Use A Doily' now I know it doesn't look like I used one but I cut mine up and made the lace frill from it...the cute little Tilda is Sweet Christmas Holly Tilda I coloured her with distress inks and with the addition of a few pearls I think she works brilliant for anytime of the year don't you, I teamed her up with these amazing papers from the Kaisercraft Blea and Ivy 6.5x6.5 paper pad the Tilda and papers are from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, I finished with the cut doily lace, loads of different size pearls and some Satin ribbon 15mm SAXE BLUE from The Pretty Little Ribbon Shop, the fab sketch is from the Sugar Creek Hollow challenge and I'm also entering it for the Simon Says Stamp challenge and Fab 'n' Funky challenge...right I AM going out today so will report back lol...whatever your up to today have a fabulous one

I love a bit of colour...

Good morning everyone, I hope your all keeping well and are happy...I had another crafting day yesterday but it was one of those days when you seem to do loads but nothing gets finished if you know what I mean...I played and coloured and cut but finished nothing I should have but had fun playing anyway...I really must go out today though, I had all intentions of yesterday but yes you guessed it the rain fell from the heavens lol...now I'm not allergic to rain or like the wicked witch melt in it or anything like that (honestly) I just hate mooching round town in it is all...when you in the mood for a mooch you certainly don't want a soggy mooch do you, have you noticed I seem to have turned into the weather police lol...I did finish this card and felt in the need of loads of colour and you cant say this paper isn't colourful can you...the papers are from the Basicgrey Sweet Threads 6x6 paper pad from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...isn't it so bright, colourful and joyful...love it...I teamed it up with this stunning Zorana A Dancing Gypsy from Saturated Canary...I just about used every colour distress ink I could think off on my Gypsy and isn't she just beautiful...as the paper was so colourful I just added a lush pink satin ribbon and bow and a gorgeous twisted metal Fancy Heart Charm to finish...the lush sketch (I love the hearts behind the image) is from the Sketch N Stash challenge and I'm also entering it for the Joanna Sheen Challenge and Fussy and Fancy Friday challenge too...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

has Spring arrived?...

Good morning everyone, is it just me or is it getting a little bit warmer?...oooohhhh I do hope so, I'm officially fed up with the cold miserable weather now aren't you...I was tidying up my computer yesterday and came across some holiday photos and that made me think of warm days and beautiful clear nights...I did my work yesterday, yes I managed to get past the eyelid/bum situation finally and had a fantastic day just crafting and drinking tea...mind my head was sore last night and my eyes were feeling a bit worse for wear too...but it was worth it, I really enjoyed myself...I also watched a few back episodes of Family Guy last night and chuckled away to myself, isn't it strange how daft we feel laughing out loud when we are all alone and its so quiet lol...right now onto my card for today which is for the digi teams new challenge at Crafts and Me challenges, its my choice of theme this time and I chose Shades of Spring so any spring like colours at all and don't forget you don't need to use a Crafts and Me image for the challenge either, I used one of the beautiful new digis from Crafts and Me called A Princess is Born, isn't it gorgeous...I coloured this beauty and her Princess with distress inks and used more of the stunning Prima 6x6 Madeline paper pad, I'm totally addicted to this pad and it seems to be lasting ages because there are so many papers in it, I added a lush soft pink ribbon and bow and some butterflies punched with my Martha Stewart punch, I also cut one of the butterflies from the paper too...I also added a stamped sentiment...the lush sketch is from The Sweet Stop challenge and I'm also entering it for the Fairy Tale Challenge and Totally Papercrafts challenge too...If it stays nice today I may just take myself into Town for a little wander round, although maybe I shouldn't have said that as it will probably rain now lol...whatever your up to today have a dry one

the second one...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...well all my best efforts went out the window yesterday and I had one of those sofa days, you know the ones where my butt's attached to my eyelids...I just couldn't stay awake at all...so no crafting done, no DT work caught up on and no hitting the shops...but not to worry I will restart my motor this morning and get all the work done I need to do...well did you all have a guess at which one of the baby cards my beautiful Daughter and her other half chose then?....it was a split decision, she loved this one and her other half loved yesterdays...so they took them both lol...see she goes from not liking my cards to taking both the ones I made...I hope the new parents love them both...this one is using the amazingly beautiful Simply Adorables Bambino from Funkykits...I love love love colouring the Adorables, every single one of them

I coloured him with distress inks, distressed the edges and even finished the inside again, I don't think I will do that with every card though as it really adds time to card making...the stunning papers are from the Prima Printery 6x6 paper pad, this pad is so beautiful, soft and vintage and perfect for a timeless baby card don't you think...I finished it with some cream ribbon and a bow on the inside and outside and a stunning Oval Frame charm from Bunny Zoe's Crafts, if your wondering how to get the centre paper to fit in a the frame, put your paper face down on a soft surface and press the charm into the paper which leaves an impression which is easily cut to shape and stick inside the charm...the sketch I made up as I went along but I'm entering this into the Lollipop Crafts and Allsorts challenges...right I'm going to get myself up off my butt and get on with what I have to do today so watch this space lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

will wonders never cease...

Good morning everyone I hope you had a fantastic weekend, we had a wonderful family lunch yesterday cooked to perfection by my wonderful Phil, I know I'm so lucky to have a fella that makes the Sunday lunch while he gives me a chance to craft and made two cards I needed to make, there's not many of them about is there...I was shocked when our beautiful Daughter rang me late Saturday night and asked me to make her a baby card (she doesn't really like my cards so never ever asks, I know, how dare she lol)...after I picked myself up, I asked her what she wanted and she hadn't a clue only one stipulation she didn't want any writing or sentiment on it anywhere, its for a close friend and ex room mate of her other half who emigrated to Australia and has just had his first baby boy with his new wife, so I made two cards, a really modern bright one which I think suits the Australian destination and a more formal, elegant and traditional one which I thought suited his French Wife, I even finished the insides of the cards too...I will show you the other tomorrow and you can guess which one they chose

...I hardly ever make baby cards and ssssooooo enjoyed making these two...so my first one for their choice is using this amazing image from Mo's Digital Pencil called Kai in the Sand (sailboat Hat) this is the male version and there is also a cutie girl version too, I coloured him with distress inks and distressed the edges of the image too, I used a few Echo Park papers for it, the sailboat one and dotted are from their Boy collection and is called Awesome dots, the green is from the A Walk in the Park collection and is called Playful Stripes...I finished with some gorgeous striped ribbon and knot and a few buttons...the fab sketch is from the Ribbon Carousel challenge and I'm also entering it for the CES challenge and Creative Card Crew challenge too...I so hope they will love their card and it gets to Australia is somewhere near decent condition, although it stands a good chance as his Parents are taking it...right I'm off to do some food shopping today and then have a crafting afternoon because I have some DT work to do...whatever your up to today I hope you have a fantastic one

revenge of the weather fairy...

Good morning everyone I hope your all having a fantastic weekend...it was a bit chilly here yesterday morning but wall to wall sunshine so we decided we would head out to buy some lovely fresh goodies to make pasta for dinner, I said to Phil are you sure its bound to rain if I'm going out...don't be daft says he...so I popped upstairs to do the busted sofa (nope still no haircut yet) and put on a bit of war paint and then I was just putting my coat on and the heavens opened with hail, snow, rain, wind...see I told him didn't I...I swear the weather fairy has a grudge to bear, maybe she doesn't like my umbrella inside out dance lol...we braved the elements and headed out getting back as soon as we could and yes you guessed it...ten minuets after taking off my coat the sun was shining again...I give in lol...we had a lovely dinner anyway except I put just a tad too much garlic in my sauce, it tasted lush but boy was I thirsty all night...anyway onto my card for today, how amazingly stunning is this brand new image from Mo's Digital Pencil, this beauty is called Easter Kiko, there's different versions of her too...pop on over to Mo's Digital Pencil and prepare to fall in love...I coloured her with distress inks and used another of the hidden stash papers I found to paper piece her dress and the bow on the basket...lush coloured papers aren't they, they are from Daisy Bucket Designs Playful Petals collection and is called Katy...I think its just perfect for the beautiful Kiko don't you...I finished my card with some beautiful sheer ribbon and bow and cut some of the flowers from the paper for embellishments ...the gorgeous sketch is from Sweet Sketch Wednesday and I'm also entering it for the Crafty Catz Weekly Challenge (my favourite things are Mo's images, paper, ribbon and cutting out) and Craft Your Days Away challenge too...we are having a family lunch today, I love those kind of days...whatever your doing today I hope its a fantastic day for you and watch out for the weather fairy she holds grudges

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...now I know the post header is a weird one but every girls needs a new mop and bucket at some time don't they and I needed a new one, not exciting but one of life's must haves so of I popped to our local retail park to scout one out...well we have three stores in a row so I tried Argos £23.99 then Sainsburys £14.98 and B&M Bargains an amazing £6.95 with a spare mop head too, now how on earth can there be such a vast difference in price and they were all the same sort of good brand...it made me shake my head which is a sure sign I'm shocked lol, so I text a friend last night to tell her the shocking truth about the price of buckets and mops and she replied with 'its only a bucket and mop, get a grip woman', I came crashing down and realised I was ranting and raving about the price of a mop and bucket how sad am I, I so need to get out more lol...my lovely Dad is home for the weekend and it is lovely to see him again, still no sign of his eye surgery appointment yet though despite many phone calls, oh well fingers crossed t will happen really soon...my card for today you will be pleased to hear has no mop or bucket on it...I used this stunning image from Make it Crafty called Elizabeth J, I coloured her with distress inks and added a little bit of glitz to her shoes and dress...the stunning papers are from Graphic45's Le Romantique Collection and is called Daydreams, lush lush paper, I finished with a stamped sentiment and a Prima metal flower which I added a beautiful crystal butterfly too...the lush sketch is from Crazy 4 Challenge challenge and I'm also entering it for the Flutter By Wednesday challenge...I haven't a clue what I'm up to today I might even do a bit of crafting, I feel in the need of some cutting I think...whatever your up to today stay away from the mops and buckets or you to may suffer from cleaning equipment rage

Good morning everyone I hope your all well...I'm feeling pretty clever with myself this morning...I managed to combine my Mo's Digital Pencil Dreamteams blog hop card with my Colour Create challenge card, am I allowed to feel a big smug do you think lol...oh and btw I made more cupcakes yesterday, lemon cupcakes with cream cheese and vanilla frosting...yum yum yum, I would have shown them to you but they have all been eaten would you believe, I made them at 6pm and they were all gone but one by 9pm and I ate that one at 11 lol...I didn't eat them all my beautiful Daughter and her other half came round to dinner and left with some after eating some after a rather large dinner too...

ok thats enough waffling from me and a big huge welcome to the Mo's Digital Pencil blog hop, if you arrived here from the super talented DEBBIE, if not then hop on over to our host for this month JULIE'S blog to start at the beginning and don't forget to leave a comment on the teams blogs on the hop to have a chance at winning one of two $5 credits for Mo's Digital Pencil...Julies theme for this month is Music and I chose to use the gorgeously cute Little Irish Dancer, I coloured her with distress inks, I so wanted a go at colouring that amazing mad hair, I wasn't too sure about combining the image, music theme and the new colours from Colour Create challenge, our combo this week was chosen by the lovely Sabrina and she chose Lilac, Blue, Kraft, & White and the extra option is to make a paper charm...I love these colours don't you, I used loads of scrap for my card and printed the music score on my computer, I finished with a huge bow and a charm I punched out and stamped...the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday and I'm also entering it for the One Stitch at a Time challenge...your next stop on our hop is the fabulous POP'S who I'm sure will have something amazing to show you...I'm off to the supermarket today as my lovely Dad is back from my Sisters this afternoon...whatever your up to today have a brilliant one

watch out for falling roses and sticky buttons...

Good morning everyone, did you all have a wonderful Valentines Day...go on make us all jealous with the showers of gifts you all got...I had a quiet day but did loads of crafting so see I did get off my butt and do something today lol...I made four cards and was just finishing this one and the three buttons I had chosen went missing, now remember my craft room is tidy now and no matter how hard I searched the floor I couldn't find them...so I decided to go get something to eat before I finished it and when I stood up the buttons were stuck to my bum (that will teach me to put the sticky on before they are needed), now how on earth...I know its big but not big enough to sweep the floor lol...the moral of this tale is if something goes missing when your crafting check your bum, you never know...right now onto my card for today using this beautiful Some Odd Girl digi called Brella Fairy, I won three digis from The Ribbon Carousel challenge so chose this beauty and two other that you will see soon as I cant resist colouring them, I coloured her with distress inks and added a little bit of glitter on her wings...now how lush is this Cosmo Cricket paper, when I tidied up my room I found a box full of what I thought were scraps and in the bottom there were about 12 sheets of 12x12 papers I bought about a year ago and this was one of them...how shocking is that, I need a good shake I think...this is a double sided sheet from the De Lovely collection and is called DeLirious...stunning colours isn't it and I love the teeny little roses...I didn't add anything except the three buttons and stamped a sentiment from Kaisercraft on one of the circles...the fab sketch is from Sketch Saturday and I'm also entering it for the Digital Tuesday challenge my stash is my year old paper)...well I so enjoyed my crafting day today I'm going to have another today, a good colour and play does you the world of good doesn't it...whatever your up to today watch out for wandering buttons

well who knew I could do that...

Good morning everyone did you all have a fantastic weekend?...I hope you did and that the weather stayed ok for you...we had a lovely Sunday, we went to the huge market and car boot sale in Antrim and it was a thick pea soup fog all the way until the last few miles then it lifted and although it was cold it wasn't too cold...I must admit there was a couple of the most shocking stalls I have ever seen in the market...one sold paramilitary type clothing including the ski masks with the eyes and mouth cut out complete with two small boys dressed in full gear including toy machine guns and the other was a Nazi stall, with full regalia, flags, bust of Hitler the lot...I was flabbergasted and so angry and thank goodness Phil was with me or I would have been a lot louder and if I had had a few more guts they would have got a tin of paint around the stalls...seriously why????? would they do that...but besides from those two shocking moments the rest was fine and I bought a few things nothing special, well unless you counts a bag of fresh dug spuds special and two new pillows lol...we stopped off for coffee then came home and made dinner for the whole family, Phil cooked his Italian dish with the lushest garlic potatoes and I made Tiramasu cupcakes, complete with coffee syrup and marscapone, Marsala and vanilla cream...now who knew I could make cupcakes...not me, I was quite impressed with myself lol....I will take a photo of the couple that's left to show just to prove I can cook when I want too...right now onto my card for today which is for our new challenge at Bunny Zoe's Crafts monthly challenge and this month Tracy chose the theme is Celebrations anything celebration you want really so there's a lot of choice there, I chose Birthday and used this fantastic little Whimsy stamp called Sam's Special Delivery isn't he so so cute...I coloured him with distress inks and paper pieced his sling...the lush papers are from the Authentique 6x6 Paper Pad - Blissful this is such a beautiful coloured paper pad and on sale too, I finished with a printed banner which I cut out and strung with some Sew Easy Bakers Twine - Neutrals twine a gorgeous Gingham Wired Edge Gold Thread Ribbon - Brown bow and a few yellow buttons, everything except the buttons is from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...the lush sketch is from Tuesday Morning sketches (I hope it still counts as I moved the sentiments so I could fit it in), I'm also entering this for the Papertake Weekly challenge and Allsorts challenge...phew thanks for sticking with me for this super long post, boy I can waffle cant I lol...I'm having a crafting day to do my projects for the Graphic45 call...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one
