cant beat a bit of bling at the seaside...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well...we had a lovely day yesterday, the sun was actually shining (I know incredible eh lol) it wasn't hot but it was at least shining...so we made ourselves a lovely picnic and headed for the beach, it was only about 15degrees but would you believe there were people swimming and surfing...bbbbbrrrrr we British are made of hardy stuff aren't we...after a lovely lunch we went for a walk along the beach then back to the car and headed to a fab garden centre, well it used ot be a fantastic place for plants but I don't think business is very good as a lot of their plants looked very old and pot bound, in fact there was quite a lot I would have probably put in the bin, sign of the times I guess, its such a shame though that great business's are going to pot like this isn't it...then we headed home to make dinner for the family, brilliant day but all that fresh air was very tiring, I was asleep by 10.30 last night lol...right now onto my card for today and I used another beauty from Mo's Digital Pencil isn't she so so cute and I love her dolly, shes called Waiting for the Parade
I coloured her with distress inks and couldn't resist making a little windmill from the lush My Minds Eye Miss Caroline-Howdy Doody 6x6 paper pad papers I used...I finished with a few buttons and put one in the middle of the windmill...the lush sketch is from the Sunday Sketch and Stamp challenge and I'm also entering it for the Saturday Challenge...we are heading to Belfast today not sure what we are doing when we get there but I'm sure we will find something lol...

oh btw while we were at the beach I took a photo of my new bling to show you...simple but beautiful isn't it, I love it...yes they are my real nails and yes they are always painted red, I have a thing for red nails...right that's me for today, whatever your up to today I hope you have a brilliant time

Good morning everyone how are you all and are you up to anything exciting today, I will be home now hopefully and we are going out this evening to dinner with our darling Daughter who is celebrating her 26th birthday today...I still don't feel old enough to have a Daughter that age you know where truthfully I'm old enough to have a 36yr old lol....sssshhhhh don't tell anyone though...it shows I'm getting old anyway as our Daughter is getting a tattoo from us for her birthday, she already has a very delicate white one on her foot which is a kinda stylised scroll, this one will be peach and a teeny tiny branch of flowers on the side of her hand...my Dad said does she not want something 'normal' and all I could think was how I would love one too lol...mid life crisis maybe although according to my Sister I'm well passed middle age (gee thanks Sis lol)...right enough waffle my card today is for the Sugar Nellie DT and this is the stunningly beautiful Summer, isn't she amazing, I coloured her with distress inks and I finally think my colouring mojo is coming back...someone remind me never to go away without my inks to have a paint please...two weeks without colouring is too long I think...I teamed Summer up with Basicgrey Marjolaine papers, I love this collection...the sketch is from the fab Sunday Sketch and stamp challenge...have a fantastic Saturday everyone

I coloured him with Distress inks and used this lush Basicgrey Marjolaine Mint Fudge paper, I'm loving this new collection have you seen it yet, the snowflakes are gel stickers and I finished with some glitter (of course you cant have snow without glitter) and ribbons from my stash...your next stop on our hop is the amazing
I used the sketch from Sunday Sketch and Stamp and I'm also entering this for the Stamp with Fun Christmas card challenge
My next card is for our new challenge at Colour Create which this time was our lovely Julies choice and she chose this rich Plum and White, gorgeous colour combo isn't it, I had the great pleasure of meeting up with Julie at the NEC and she is gorgeous and a really nice woman too...I used one of the new Crissy's digis from Whimsy Stamps its called Touched by Love, isn't this image so beautiful just a perfect Christmas image...I coloured it again with distress inks and again used a mixture of Basicgrey papers
when you have time pop on over to Colour Create and have a lot at the rest of the DT's amazing projects...it always amazes me how everyone uses the same colours but gets such different pieces of work, brilliant isn't it...thanks everyone for sticking with me for this long post and I will be back tomorrow at 8am with my Just Magnolia card and then at 9am with something I have been bursting to tell you about....have a warm, snug day everyone
