head hung in shame...

Good morning everyone I hope your all well and happy...ok hands up those of you who knew that as soon as I started clearing I would find something to play with instead, I had bag in hand and was just starting with a pile of papers when I found some I had completely forgotten about, next thing I'm on my laptop printing off some digis that would be perfect for them, then Phil's in from work asking 'well how did you get on' oops lol...I'm hanging my head in shame and waiting for one of you lovely people to give me a stiff talking too, it HAS to be done and there's no good getting distracted or wanting to play...one of you please slap my legs and send me to my room (craft room of course) to get it done...I did come to one conclusion though, I will have to throw away hundreds of my cards, there's are boxes and boxes of them and the only place I can put them is in the bin...I have already offered them to charities and was told by one they don't accept square cards and another said yes but they needed to be bagged up and have an envelope with them...they don't want much do they lol...so in the bin they must go isn't that sad, all that work in the bin...anyway while I wait for my telling off lol I will tell you about today's card, this is one of my favourite Sugar Nellie stamps shes called Wish Upon A Star, I think shes a fantastic image for any occasion not just for Christmas, I added a few pearls to cover her snowflakes to make her a 'not just for Christmas' stamp...I coloured her with my usual distress inks and glittered her up as always, wheres there's wings there's glitter you know lol...the fantastic papers are from the Prima 6x6" Paper Pad - Fairy Belle, stunning pad...I finished with a Kaisercraft stamped sentiment and a huge organza bow, I'm entering this for the Lollipop Crafts Challenge, That Craft Place Challenge and the Simply Create Too challenge...I'm heading for the Craft room again but cant promise anything, things just leap out at me and inspire lol...whatever your up to today have a fantastic one

Such a shame about your cards. I just can't bear to see them in the rubbish bin. How about a church? They could give them to the ladies club to send out to parishioners. This is gorgeous. Light blue and white always looks so angelic. This is no exception.

Such a gorgeous sweet card Mina, that image is such a sweetie. Oh you do make me laugh - I would have automatically put envelopes with my cards, even if I'd not bagged them up. Hugs Sxx

You are a BAD girl Mina. Now get into your craft room and do it properly this time. There I have told you off!!! Impossible isn't it - we have all been in the same situation and playing just has to be better than sorting. Hope your manage it.

Mina, don't you date bin those cards. We'll find a good home for them! My church would have them in heartbeat if it would help raise funds, so i'm sure many others would too. Besides, you have to have somewhere, surely?!

Hi Mina cant but tell you off because i am the same, please dont bin them I am sure a church or some charity must want them.Must say I dont put my envelopes with them either but have them to one side except the ones I make the card with. Surely if they are selling then they will get the cost of envelopes back. How about a hospital

Such a gorgous card and those papers are fabulous.
Do you have a local guides or brownies group? I'm sure they would be more than happy to have your cards and be able to add envelopes to and sell them xx

Beautiful make, Mina! You CAN'T throw your made cards away! You just CAN'T! Take them with you and then find a home for them later. Even 300 cards would fit in a packing box. Put them on e-bay for 50p+pp buy now. Take them to a church or a school fete. It would be a crime to throw them away! Hope you are feeling a little less tired. Hugs, Lesley

oh mina,
i have to chastise you, not for getting distracted in your craft room but for trashing your cards! box them up and keep looking for a place to make them happy. i don't know about where you live but here there are plenty who would love to have them. do a little more research. perhaps you could sell them. they are gorgeous. if i were there i would take them off your hands, alas i'm across the pond. i can swim but not that far all at once. are there facilities with handicapped persons that could find a use? perhaps you need to take up some craft shows something!

ok done chastising. all of your cards are so cute... this one is too. if you hadn't told me i wouldn't have known she was a christmas one. love the background paper, too. good luck.

Your card is stunning, Mina! So soft and sparkly and the image is precious! You can not throw your gorgeous cards in the bin! Wouldn't a church or hospital or home for the elderly take them even with no envelope? They wouldn't have to send them out in the post, they could just hand them out whenever someone needed a lift.

Mina, this card is a beauty. Just as all of your cards are! I refuse to believe that someone wouldn't be thrilled to get your cards! Have you thought of nursing homes? Or cancer centers? It would be a crime of epic proporations to throw them all away! If nothing else, bundle them up & give them to friends & relatives. I'm sure they wouldn't mind buying their own envelopes to have such treasures! good luck!!

Oh, Mina, I would gladly pay the postage to receive some of your cards to donate to our church and to the churches of the ladies in my stamp club! Please don't throw them away! Your work is amazing!

Oh Mina, she is gorgeous! How can you throw out your beautiful cards? Surely someone would love to have them...do you have anything like "operation write home"? If you do end up throwing them in the bin....I WANT TO BE YOUR BIN MAN!!!! LOL
Now, get into that room & start packing!!!
