stress central...

Good morning everyone...omg I hope you didn't have an afternoon like I did yesterday, remember me saying I hate going to the Doctors well yesterdays visit certainly reinforced that feeling...I don't know if its because I did at one time spend a lot of time at Doctors and hospitals and in and out of both (long story I will tell you all about one day) but as soon as I pull up at the Doctors office my stress levels go into overdrive and my blood pressure shoots up, not good for a normally so laid back person I'm almost horizontal lol...so spending 50 minuets in a waiting room that had every kind of cough and cold known to man in it all seeming to be aimed at me, not to mention the Mother who arrived with her three little vandals (sorry I meant sweethearts of course lol) who proceeded to scream and rip the waiting room apart while their Mother sat calmly texting and chatting on her phone...you can imagine how I was by the time I got to see the Doctor...who then proceeded to tell me my blood pressure was so high he was going to send me to hospital, was I feeling stressed?...bloody hell was he joking lol...I had to explain about how it only goes up when Im in a Doctors office or Hospital and why, so now I have to be supplied with a home blood pressure monitoring system so they can check its ok at other times...it was only when I agreed to it that he said ok no hospitals...phew close call...Phil felt so sorry for me he took me out for dinner to make me feel better...so result there...well not the best afternoon but a good ending lol...right now enough stress announcements onto today's card and wow look at the eyes on this stunning Saturated Canary Beauty...shes called Springtime and I enlarged her and just used her top half for my image, I coloured her with my distress inks and teamed her up with these lusciously coloured papers from the Kaisercraft - Secret Admirer 6.5"x6.5" Paper Pad bought from Bunny Zoe's Crafts...aren't they stunning...I finished my card with a doily cut from the same pad, a gorgeous ruffle edged ribbon bow and an over sized pink flower from my stash...the fab sketch is from Mojo Monday and Im also entering it for the Totally Papercrafts Challenge and the Daisy Doodles Creative challenge too...deep breaths and calming thoughts from me for today...Im having a relaxing painting day with no stress levels involved...well besides from waiting for the phone call from the BP people that is lol...whatever your up to have a nice calm one

Beautiful card hun, those eyes are amazing, and such gorgeous colours. It's known as White Coat Syndrome hun - a recognised problem. I set off the alarms on the hospital BP monitor, twice, and scared the nurse so much she ran (literally ran) to find a doctor, lol. I think he must have been thinking he'd find me dead on the table instead of sat up and kicking my heels. Hugs Sxx

Our poor Mina. I was hospitalized one time when my heart was acting up. They ran me through a battery of tests and the doctor asked me what I was so stressed about. I told him his bill. He shut up and released me the next day. LOL

Love your colors in this card Mina. they are spectacular.

Feel better and color more. It is sooo relaxing.

Beautiful card as always :o)

You've got what we call " white coat syndrome " in Canada.

Sorry about your dreadful day.

Big Hugs, Candy

LOve, love, love the colors you have used! Perfectomundo! I love the fringe on her boots and the hairstyle is very similar to my beautiful niece's hairstyle. I am a butterfly lover and your butterflies look so good with the colors you used! Thanks for sharing with us!

Please ignore my 1st post on this (March 1) comment spot! I DO love this card also. I agree with those who have commented about her eyes. You did an incredible job with her!
Sorry to hear about your experience at the doctor's. I, too, have LOts, OF HEALTH PROBLEMS. I have been on O2 for almost 3 years now, cancer 4 times, died twice (obviously I was revived after being DOA), hospitalized in ICU for 3 weeks the first time and 2 weeks the second time. I could go on for hours about all the health issues I have but don't want to bore you! If ever you need a friendly ear to vent about health issues feel free to contact me. I am here 24/7 as I don't leave home often. My number is 802-433-1790. I try to be there for ANYONE who needs an ear. Anything said is totally confidential. Hubby is used to calls at 3am from peeps freaking about health problems or just because they are lonely. I will shut up now but hope your health issues get resolved!
